My stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I booked a pool view room, and the view was stunning calming, premium, and exactly the kind of atmosphere you expect from a high end getaway. The service here reflects true luxury hospitality. The staff were highly attentive, proactive, and delivered every request with professionalism and elegance. The entire experience felt seamless, personalised, and refined. I also had the pleasure of dining at the Lemon Garden buffet absolutely delicious. The highlight was the lobster, cooked to perfection and incredibly fresh. The flavours were rich, well balanced, and truly memorable. The seafood selection alone places this buffet among the best I’ve ever tried. The overall ambience, room quality, cleanliness, and facilities all met top tier standards. A perfect blend of comfort, sophistication, and indulgence. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious escape with excellent dining to match. I will definitely return.

This was my first stay at a Shangri-La hotel, and as an ex-hotelier, I am very familiar with the standards expected of a five-star property. I am happy to say that Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur truly delivered. Prior to my arrival, I called to request an early check-in as I was rushing for a concert. Balkis from your team handled my request with exceptional patience, understanding, and attentiveness. She took the time to explain my questions and the situation clearly and genuinely cared about my needs. I truly hope she receives recognition, as her service left a very positive first impression. Upon arrival, the hotel was understandably busy as they had vips in-house, yet the team still managed to uphold five-star service standards while taking care of guests efficiently. I arrived early due to an early flight, and although my room was not ready, I was able to enjoy breakfast. The breakfast team on the morning of the 27th and 28th were super warm, attentive, and extremely professional. They took great care of me while also ensuring every guest received equal attention — exactly how hospitality and F&B service should be. I was pleasantly surprised when my room was ready much earlier than expected. I truly appreciate the effort put in by the team to make this happen. The Executive Room was beautiful, and even though I didn’t have time to enjoy the bathtub, it genuinely made me happy to have the experience. Thank you also for the birthday amenities , it was just amazing. Throughout my stay, there were minor moments, but they were quickly and thoughtfully resolved by your service and housekeeping teams working together. Because of this, they never felt like issues at all. A special mention as well to the bellman team — incredibly friendly and engaging — and the poolside bar team, who made my time there enjoyable with great conversations and warm service. The shuttle was totally a great way to explore and its comfort, amazing! As for your guest relations officer, amazing work, services and professionalism especially in handling vips and fans around them, something to look up to. As a former hotelier, I believe true hospitality is about genuine care, connection, and consistency, not just formality. Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur delivered exactly that. Excellent hotel. Service was amazing and the staff went above and beyond in trying to cater for dietaries. Even ordered a gluten free cake for my wife's birthday which was a nice surprise! Highly recommend if you are gluten free. Hotel is a classic look but well maintained. Overall good location in terms of proximity to a lot of major tourist attractions.

I would like to thank the Shangri-La Hotel for its exceptional hospitality. This was our second stay here, and once again, everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were warm, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the team truly helped make this moment even more special. I would like to give a special mention to Ina, whose professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly made our stay memorable. This hotel is feel quiet even there are many others guest, i like it as i did not feel overwhelmed by crowds. This is one of the shangri-la hotel that have less in house kid activity. The breakfast at lemon garden is good, most of the food tastes good although the variety seems lesser. I like the granola bars, nasi lemak, rendang omelette, pastry, juices, croissant is crispy outside soft inside 🫰🏻. The environment itself feels really relax and nice. Overall the hotel is like a hidden garden in the city 🌆, night view is cool.
