Location wise great. Staff very friendly and nice. Family friendly environment. Only few negative things like the breakfast buffet was a complete let down the food is every single day for 6 days in a row the same food and no change and basically only suits a few cultures. First night here my room kept making a banging noise from the celling. Following morning i complained about the noise and reception staff moved me to a different room but charged me extra money. Something I was not happy about as it’s not my problem to pay more money because the original room I paid for makes noises. And rooms need to be renovated. Birds in pool area is bad and out of control. You cannot leave your drinks or foods not even for one second to go to pools and have swim.

We truly enjoyed our stay and have been visiting almost every year since 2020. The service quality has improved tremendously, from reception, bellman, restaurant staff, and even pool attendants, everyone has been attentive and professional. Mr. Ranjit and his team deserve special recognition for always being helpful and thoughtful. For improvement, perhaps a little more variety in breakfast options and some upgrades to poolside facilities would make the experience even better. Overall, we deeply appreciate the effort put in by the whole Golden Sands team. Keep up the great work!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at your resort and would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the overall experience. The hospitality and attentiveness of the staff were truly commendable, making our stay welcoming and enjoyable. Additionally, the variety and quality of the food offered across your outlets were impressive and catered well to diverse tastes. That said, I would like to share a few suggestions for improvement: 1. Room Service Menu: The current in-room dining options are quite limited. It would greatly enhance guest convenience and satisfaction to expand the menu with more diverse selections, especially for late-night or light meals. 2. On-Premises Convenience Store: A small cold store or convenience shop within the premises would be highly beneficial for guests to purchase essential items, snacks, or drinks without leaving the property. 3. Furniture Renovation: While the room was comfortable, some of the furnishings appeared worn and in need of updating to better match the high standards of the hotel. 4. Noise Control Policy: On several nights, noise levels in the corridors and surrounding areas were noticeably high after 10 p.m., which disrupted our rest. Implementing and enforcing a quiet hours policy would be greatly appreciated by guests seeking a peaceful stay. 5. Smoking Areas: It was observed that some guests were smoking in non-designated areas, including hallways and balconies. We recommend clearer signage and stricter enforcement of a designated smoking area policy to ensure a more comfortable environment for all guests. And perhaps to add another area for smoking in the hotel lobby Thank you once again for the warm hospitality. I hope my feedback will be taken positively as a means to enhance the guest experience even further. I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

My stay at Shangri-La Golden Sands was truly exceptional as always. From the start, the reception staff displayed the highest level of professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. A special thank you to Dr. Sharma at the hotel’s clinic for his excellent medical care. He was calm, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind his presence was a great comfort and a rare benefit in a hotel setting. The poolside area was absolutely beautiful clean, relaxing, and well-maintained, with attentive staff offering wonderful service. Whether I was lounging by the pool or reaching out for any assistance, every team member was courteous and helpful. The service across the hotel was consistently impressive, reflecting true hospitality at every level. I highly recommend Golden Sands for anyone seeking a blend of comfort, care, and genuine warmth. A big and sincere thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay unforgettable. Special appreciation to the amazing front desk team: Udo, Ferina, Amira, Diyniy, Weng, Deruga, Purusothman, and Fadhila, Julia your warm hospitality was truly felt. Deep gratitude to the incredible chefs for crafting such a delicious and diverse breakfast experience, and to the poolside team: Kanaga, Balan, Charles Anthony, NiNi, Arju, Dzul, Bikash and Rosey you brought so much warmth and joy to our relaxing days by the pool. A special thank you to lifeguard Ferdous , karthi, Tatt for ensuring everyone’s safety with calm professionalism, and to Concierge Deva, whose help was always thoughtful and efficient. If I missed anyone, please forgive me every single member of the Shangri-La team was exceptional, and your hospitality made us feel truly at home. Thank you again for everything!

Been here several time and surely been here once a year. This is our regular place to stay and to enjoy the facilities provided. Also the scenery of beautiful beach. Nice food during breakfast, easy access to the hawker and groceries shop in front of the hotel. Nice and friendly staff Ms Jalita from the cafe which always throw us with sweet smile. Unforgettable experience when we receive the special amenities in conjunction of our 18th anniversary celebration. Credit to the hotel's Senior GSA Ms Jenaga who delightful prepare for this surprise.
