As of writing this review, this was my second time coming to this hotel with my Mom for our Dubai vacation. Overall great hotel and service. The view of the Burj Khalifa is great, especially when you are in the pool area. The shot is absolutely incredible. I will say in our second time here, there clearly has been some changes. Our first time we had an amazing experience in the cafe area where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The people working there before were incredible. I especially want to give a shout out to Nazifa who is no longer there and wasn't there when we went the second time. She was incredible and sweet to us in serving us. That experience alone made our first experience at the hotel that much better. Many of the new waiters weren't really that attentive. Never would really acknowledge us and would take a long time to get anything for us at the table. But overall its a great hotel to stay at if you really want to hit the hot tourist zones in downtown Dubai.

This is our second time staying in Shangri-La Dubai and the service and the hotel is as impeccable as it was the first time we stayed here. It is reassuring to know that customer service still exists in this day and age of profit being the main focus by most hotels. We can't say enough aboout the friendliness and corteousness of the all the staff at this hotel. This is definitely our hotel of choice anytime we travel and we will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Keep up the great work in catering to the needs of you customers.

We stayed at Shangri-La Dubai for 7 nights during our first trip to Dubai, and the experience was truly memorable. The Burj Khalifa and skyline view from our room was absolutely stunning and a real highlight of our stay. The staff at the entrance and reception were warm and welcoming, especially with the kids, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was very good with friendly, service-oriented staff genuinely willing to help, though we felt the menu variety could be expanded or changed slightly over longer stays. We travel widely and appreciate good hospitality, and a special mention goes to Chef Sreejith, whose warmth and personal attention made our breakfast mornings special and added a level of care that is rare to find. Overall, a wonderful stay and would love to return.

This is my second stay in this hotel and I love it. It has one of the most beautiful views of Dubai. That’s why I like to stay at the Club rooms in the high floors, which give you complementary access to the Horizon pool and to the Club Lounge with breakfast and evening snacks and drinks. The service is of high quality, the staff is attentive, friendly and professional. The Horizon 42 bar at floor 42 offers a unique view at sunset. The Balcony bar on Floor 1 has a great selection of beers and cigars. The Chinese restaurant Shang Palace has a great selection of dumplings.

My stay at the Shangri-La Dubai wasn't just a hotel visit; it was the kind of wonderfully smooth experience that makes a trip memorable. From the moment I walked in, greeted by that signature, understated fragrance and genuinely warm smiles, I felt instantly at ease. The room was a sanctuary of calm – spotless, incredibly comfortable, and with a breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa that never got old. What truly set it apart, though, was the people. Every request was met with a "certainly, madam" and a sincere desire to help, from the concierge who secured a last-minute dinner reservation to the housekeeping staff who left thoughtful little touches. The location is perfect, right on Sheikh Zayed Road, putting you in the heart of the city's energy yet letting you retreat into utter tranquillity. Whether it was sipping coffee at the Dunes Cafe or watching the sunset from the pool, the entire atmosphere was one of refined, unpretentious luxury. It felt less like a corporate chain and more like a impeccable service. I left not just rested, but genuinely delighted – it’s the hotel you find yourself recommending to friends, because it simply gets everything right.
