Absolutely phenomenal stay at the Shangri-La Bangkok. The service was world-class from start to finish — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The breakfast was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had: incredible variety, top quality, and excellent options for different dietary needs. Every meal, from in-room dining to lobby drinks, was outstanding. A special shout-out to Takon at the concierge desk, who went truly above and beyond. His recommendations were excellent, and he somehow secured us last-minute ringside seats for a Muay Thai fight when everything was sold out — without charging us extra. That level of effort is rare. Another huge thank you to Jongkie, who gave us an exceptional tour of the floating markets and railway markets. She was funny, caring, incredibly knowledgeable, and even helped us find amazing local food along the way. She made the day unforgettable. An unforgettable experience overall. We will absolutely be back.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the facilities were complete and well maintained, including the fitness center, sauna, and steam room, making the stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. I would like to sincerely compliment the staff, especially Khun Nuch, Khun Fon, Khun Tar and Khun Champ, for their professionalism, warm smiles, and friendly service. From the welcoming greetings to the attentive care throughout our stay, every detail was handled with genuine care. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and memorable stay. I have been here to pick up my tourists and also inviterd to the dinner Cruise...so no comment on the room. From the front to inside, the staff provide a professional services. Good hospitality as their stars. Clean and neat lobby and restroom, as well as restaurants Riverside. I do much appreciated the dinner Cruise, not to big in size just perfect. Not crowded, perfect for a romantic and wonderful dinner among friends, couple and family. Food indeed délicious, hygene, and always wonderful service from the staff. They keep you inform every moment tonnot missing while you are having dinner along Chaophraya river. Glass never been empty. Food quickly filled. Explanation provide for everything. Can't say more, but worthwhile to réserve ! Save time to check-in and drop off of the cruise not as a huge cruise that take so much time and very crowded. However, it is perfect for those who seek calm and beautiful night, not for party and animated with light and sound during evening/night. In conclusion, I love it and I will recommend to my future tourists.👍👍👍👍👍👍

Large hotel with excellent services and venues throughout. Honestly our room felt and looked a bit tired. It also came with a damp musty smell. The bathroom was fine and more than adequate. The best part of the hotel is it’s facilities and location. There are several restaurants and nice indoor and outdoor spaces. The hotel is located close to restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood and a BRS station is nearby. It also offers a free ferry to cross the river to the amazing Iconsiam mall which has endless dining and shopping, as well.

Nice entry to the hotel, but there is a smell on the 16th floor and also the room has a slight smell. Rooms are ok, but starting to be outdated a bit. The Thai restaurant is overpriced by a huge margin (3500 bath for 2 persons having 3 meals that are served as very small portions). The food is good but not great and as said far to small portions especially for the extraordinary price. Fitness area is for 15yo and older, so my 11 year old athlete son that trains daily was not allowed in the gym, even as I (his father) a fitness choach would acompany him. This last thing was the final straw that prompted me to write the bad review. The hotel is nicely situated at the river with great views from the room, but its pricy and I would have expected much better than to be annoyed the whole day by small stuff that makes my stay not enjoyable. In all I did enjoy my stay. The pool is good, a bit crowded but still nice. Fun to look at the boats in the river and a free river crossing every hour in a beautifull wooden boat, which is fun. Breakfast is good and lots of choice. 1 day the coffee at breakfast tasted really bad from every machine, but the next it tasted good again, not sure what happened there.
