Right on the river side; the location of the hotel cant get better. Right from the checkin till the time we left the hotel, everything was perfect. The staff was very courteous and always ready to help. The breakfast, by the river side had good variety as can be expected from a hotel of this stature. The gym was very well equipped and the attached steam and sauna was a bonus. The roooms were tidy, though regular dry cleaning of carpets is required. You get complimentary hourly boat ride to ICONSIAM, which i feel should be more frequent, like Mandarin oriental. We took horizon river cruise which was also very pleasurable indeed.

Our stay here again was marked by the exceptional service we received in the Horizon Club Lounge on check in through to check out. Khun Walita was with us all the way during our 4 day stay. Our Horizon River View Suite with panoramic wrap around balcony overlooking the wonderful Chaophraya was immaculately prepared for us and well maintained throughout. The staff could not do more to make us feel at home.

Old room with poor service. there are plenty of good hotel choices in Bangkok. Stay away. 1- Inefficient check-in : I have booked the room at official website and was asked to provide my arrival time, which was 2pm. However, when I arrived at 4pm, tlmy room was not ready yet, I was asked to change to a king size bed room which is different from what I book (twin). I refused change and the check in process took me more than 20min, with a number of phone calls and passports checks and recheck again. It is the worst check-in ever. 2- Dated room : Weak and slow Wifi signal throughout the room, no USB/PD port. Broken lamp in toilet, just fixed with plastic tape. Malfunction socket Shower head was not adjustable, and the water temperature was hard to adjust too. Toilet flush button was very hard to push. Lighting switches were not user friendly at all Stained carpet 3 - Disappointing customer service: No response for my request on luggage service via the app (waited for 10min and my request turned to [completed] from the app, but nobody shown up in reality) Nobody answered the service call from hotel room (I rang 2 times, for 3min) I did finally push my luggages on my own for check out Pros: 1 - Great river view from the balcony 2 - Shuttle boat to the Icon Siam

There are so many things I love about this hotel, but if I have to pick one, I will say their location. They are very close to both a boat terminal and a train station, and you can easily access to most of tourism spots in Bangkok by taking them. Needless to say, their service is great and working staff is very friendly. I also love enjoying the night view on the balcony. If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy the view and that gives you convenience, I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location by a skytrain station and a river boat jetty. Several good bars and restaurants within walking distance and taxi or tuc tuc. The Shangri-La is fantastic with great facilities and the staff are just wonderful, couldn't be more cheerful, polite and welcoming. Can't wait for our next visit
