American family of four (mom dad 18 & 8) stayed for four nights in April. After a mild hiccup during the initial check in process, this stay was nothing short of excellent for my whole family. Grounds are beautiful, you can sit at the beach and see a beautiful sunrise over the Red Sea, water park next door was such a nice perk of staying at Serenity. As fun as the water park is, I’m very pleased that we stayed at Serenity instead, as the layout and overall vibe at serenity were more relaxing. This is a property that wants to earn top marks from all its guests, and the various management teams do very well in taking care of their clients‘ reasonable requests. Guests seemed majority German, with the next most represented country being the UK. In general a very well behaved crowd there during our stay.

Beautiful hotel, staff are amazing, can't fault that. Food was done very well but just not to my liking. I didn't go hungry tho! Spotlessly clean throughout. Would definitely return.

We landed on 04/04/24, the transfer and the pick up on the airport was really nice, the man escorted us to the transfer and he spoke dutch. In the hotel the people where really nice and helped us with the check in and escorted us with our luggage to our room. The room had old furniture, not that it is a issue but also the beds and the mattress where old they are very uncomfortable and hard. We didn’t say anything about the mattress. But after a few days i had a lot of back and neck pain. The hygiene of the room was 5/10. There where bugs and i wouldn’t shower or walk without slippers. We asked a couple times for a solution but on te 6th day they swapped the mattress with a softer one. Unfortunately i was very uncomfortable most of the days because of the back and neck pain…… The food 8/10 was overall good and diverse, you can dine in the different types of restaurants and there is a buffet. The drink, cocktails and wine are terrible, low quality alcohol 3/10 The staff, a couple where really nice and we tip them good they were respectful to me and my partner. But there where a lot of men (staff members ) who ignored my partner or disrespected him. To me they were to nice and tried to get “other” attention from me when my partner wasn’t there. Very disrespectful and not discreet. The wifi is 6/10 some places is doesn’t work that well, very nice for a week to go offline! The gym 6/10 Material is old but you can do your workout with a little improvise. The spa 2/10 Its really not relaxing, the staff members where talking constantly, the water of the jacuzzi was cold, no bubbels and dirty water. We had booked a massage, the energy wasn’t good so we really wanted to go. We got our money back. The manager wanted a explanation of our review and we got a bottle of wine. But overall we’re not going back to this hotel.
