Starting from the amazing Sara at the reception with her lovely smile and warm welcome to the cosy clean room and helpful housekeeper. The service is very good – the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room is clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The food is delicious with a lot of options every day. There was also a great show here, which made the evening really enjoyable. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay in Egypt

Good value. +1: clean place, including clean toilets, good amenities and night shows, pools of different types, different depth, bar in pool. +1: clean beach, shallow sea, bar and showers on beach. +1: access to water park slides and restaurants of neighbouring resort. +1: in-house snorkeling off the resort pier with a lifeguard every day. +1: Staff. Breakfast takeaway was arranged by the hotel on the days we had to leave early for activities - very useful. Chef Mahmoud made our stay extra special with simple touches like cheese falafels for us to try. No major issues. Some minor language barriers. Alcohol - not branded.

It wasn't the most pleasant stay, as I enjoyed the resort's twin hotel (Sunrise Garden Beach) a few years ago. However, the staff (some of them) are good and really are trying their best, but it looks like the Mamlouk Palace Hotel is going down in terms of service and quality. A special thank you to Mr. Moataz, a really helpful person and very friendly, he always makes sure you get the best experience, but some other staff members destroy what he is building along with his other decent colleagues. The room is outdated with a bathroom that has a major issue of mislocating the floor drain, the thing that leads to a small lake outside the bathroom. The variety of food is good but it is very repetitive, I recommend you have your main meals at the Garden Beach restaurant.
