It’s advertised as a spa and wellness hotel but the spa isn’t included in the price of the hotel. It’ll cost an additional 25€ for an entry. The gym is smaller than your hotel room. Very basic equipment, enough to do the job, but very bad air… they need to do something about letting fresh air in / circulating the air better. The pool is nice. The rooms are nice. The fan speed cannot be remotely controlled. You have to ask them to send someone to change the speed for you. The shower is outdated. The water pressure isn’t there, and the water temperature switches by itself between cold to too hot as you shower. The room cards kept losing their code and we had to go multiple times to the reception to get a new card. The service staff were friendly, professional and did their jobs well. All in all, we would not stay here again. We do not understand how it’s a 4 star hotel and well rated for what it offers.

We are currently staying at the senator in Marbella and I have to leave a review already because it’s just been such a good experience all round. I did not mention it was my birthday but they noted it from my passport and I’ve just come back to a bottle of champagne in the room which is such a lovely gesture!! Rooms are spotlessly clean, hotel pool and bar lovely, staff friendly, location is perfect, I literally cannot fault the place. Thank you so much for the best stay, 100% will return!!!

Very basic room, old bath and shower, good aircon. Food was not fresh at all. Very limited Breakfast and dinner and you could see food with a dry layer on top, left over from one or two days ago. Not much options to choose. Low quality food. The swiming pool also was not full of water and when you were in it you coupd not see around you as the walls of swiming pool were around you and blocked your sight. The location is great!

Came here for our honeymoon and this hotel is in a great location, they look after you so well and the food is really nice. A special mention to Marcos who works on the front desk. He made sure we was well looked after and made our stay unforgettable. We had a slight issue with our penthouse suite and he gave us complimentary spa passes and late checkout to say sorry. Obviously he didn't have to do this for us but he did this because he wanted us to have the best experience. Thank you Marcos.

Room was ok.. but not cheap so expect it to be. But... and read this and believe... The breakfast was disgusting... the buffet was not heated and the food.. if I can call it that was awful. The coffee was.. awful The orange machine.. broken.. Staff useless.. The food manager... horrible little man.. rude and dismissive... Was on the mobile all the time and trying to communicate was disrespectful and a joke. Do.. not.. eat.. there.. in fact.. there are other hotels at the price.. go there. This is the world of reviews.. And .. believe... this is 100% genuine.
