Nice and friendly staff, great breakfast and very clean. Very nice ( but cold) pool, nice area outside. Over all a good choice with good value for money. Things that can be better: -The gym need renovation and some new equipment. -Some new furniture on the rooms -Ask the customer always if it should be open a credit on the room when arriving - paying customers wan`t the stay as smooth as possible! I checked in two times during a 2 weeks stay in Marbella and the first time the credit was automaticly open, the second check in i did not get any credit in my room and nowbody asked. I travel a lot and the most hotels i live on opens credits on the room automatically on every check in.

I returned from the Senator Banus hotel last week after spending 7 nights in this resort with my partner. The first main concern was the remote location of the resort – I would advise guests to have their own method of transport (we hired a car). There is a footbridge a few minutes’ walk away but in general, the location to other shops, supermarkets, restaurants is quite poor. Re spa facilities: I was expecting to book in for several treatments but considering the limited treatments offered and their price point, I decided not to. In addition, I learned of the VIP card from a review after my stay. I was not made aware that the VIP card is a free loyalty card for guests which offers discounts. Nor was I made aware to apply for this at reception – this should be highlighted to guests. Re gym: this was closed much of the time we were there (10 – 17 Oct) and when it was open, many of the machines were out of order. As noted in many other reviews, there was a severe shortage of sunbeds, with approximately 60% reserved by absent guests everyday. The lifeguard/staff member on duty should do better to monitor those who were actively using their beds/umbrellas. Re food options: my partner is coeliac and so requires gluten free options, needless to say this is always expected at a 5 star resort. We did look at the dinner menu and the options were not great – please do better here! We subsequently sought out other restaurants for dinner. Overall, this resort fell well short of the standards expected from a 5 star resort and I hope you will address accordingly.

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel. The hotel itself is at a fairly calm location. Shops that are usefull are kind of hard to reach since you need to walk for a bit and cross a bridge to get to the other side. The hotel room itself was lovely and spacious. we had the double deluxe room. The staff was generally really friendly and was understanding and patient to all my weird questions i had every day. The spa is very nice, enjoyable and calm. lovely massages as well. Really special shoutout to the older breakfast lady who cooks the eggs. It almost felt like i was at my grandma`s house eating food again haha. The guy at the bar made me a Whisky Sour cocktail which was not on the menu, please put it in the menu because it was very good! thank you for a great experience. The only downside, the last night we stayed at the hotel we heard a couple in the next room getting it on very loud. we did not complain. but the walls in the room are thin as air and you could hear everything

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are decent with a bathtub, balcony and AC. There is a bus stop few mins walk away if you want to venture out. Breakfast was yum. We ate at the pool bar twice and both times really enjoyed our food. Reception staff were generally helpful, especially Jamal. Would stay again if I was returning to the are.

Stayed here for a recent golf trip. The hotel is very suitable. I will stay here again next time. Convenient to super restaurants and golf courses. Good breakfast and strong Wi-Fi
