The property and resort is nice, although we weren't blown away or impressed above our expectations. The food is delicious, however there are some that I would avoid, such as El Patio. The a la carte dinners also took a long time, up to 2 hours if you also have dessert, which lead to long wait times if you don't arrive close to opening at 6:00. The app was also not accurate, listing hours for each restaurant, which changed our plans more than once when we arrived to a closed restaurant. Room service was quite slow at times, so we only ordered breakfast which was more prompt. The very large size of the resort (combining 3 resorts) seems to be a challenge from a service and maintenance aspect. The pool area was clean. Although the beach/ocean had a high amount of sargassum, it was still swimmable. The ocean only gets around 3-5ft deep up to the buoys. Lots of beach chairs available. Pool chairs were more limited. This is the 2nd Secrets we have stayed at, and Secrets Cap Cana was a more impressive resort to us, and left us expecting more from Wild Orchid. Overall, this is a good resort worth going to and we had a great time, but unless it is your first time at an all inclusive, you should adjust your expectations.

In general would give this resort a 3.5 out of 5. They desperately need to remodel and upgrade their rooms, pool, restaurants décor etc. The hospitality was not always good, a lot of times the women would give a lot of attitude and make it seem like getting our requests were such a pain to them. Our toilet was clogged one of the nights just because they didn't work well enough. I had to call front desk 3 times with a wait of over an hour, no one came. I had to go down to front desk and demand maintenance to ride in the elevator with me to fix the issue. A few days later when we were making a reservation to a restaurant the hostess was oh room # XXX you guys had the toilet complaint - EXCUSE ME? First of very unprofessional you would bring that up at dinner, secondly it wasn't my fault maintenance was not doing their job and I had to yell at them to do so. The food was really good however, the wait for receiving your food was sometimes over an hour. The hibachi experience was one of our top memories - definitely recommend. The coffee shop had great coffee and the women there were very nice there. The beach area was great, beautiful, calm waves with amazing sunset. In general I do not think the cost for this resort was worth what we got

To keep it short and sweet. Positives: beautiful location. I mean stunning. Negative: ROACH INFESTED!!! Roaches in the rooms, in the restaurants. Had a roach in my room and they didn’t pick it up for 2 days. Had to complain multiple times just to get the floors mopped properly. My family saw roaches fly onto one of the cooks who dropped everything and started screaming. My sister had a roach fly in her hair and the waiter picked it off her head and lied to her saying it wasn’t a roach when everyone saw it. Saw roaches in the day time crawling around the blue mountain restaurant. Place is crawling with roaches!!!!!!!!! Worst part is they tried to make me sign a non-disclosure agreement so that I couldn’t write a review or file a suit in exchange for $100 room credit and some Hyatt rewards points. Told them I wouldn’t be signing my life away for some cheap points and credit.

⸻ We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary at Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay, and I couldn’t have picked a more healing and rejuvenating destination—especially as a Reiki master dedicated to helping others release past traumas and restore positive energy. From the start, the environment was nurturing. We enjoyed full access to Secrets St. James, which gave us even more variety in amenities and serene settings . Each morning we stayed active in the spotless fitness center, where staff were incredibly kind and always offered helpful advice. I especially loved that chlorophyll drinks were readily available after workouts, and the towel stations were consistently stocked and hygienic. The morning buffet impressed both of us—there were protein shakes, freshly pressed juices, and abundant healthy options. Every lunch was a salad lover’s dream, with so many bright, crisp vegetable choices. We purposely focused on nourishing food during our stay, and the resort made that delightfully easy. The staff across all bars and dining areas were exceptionally warm and professional (). For dinner, we appreciated that à la carte options were available every night except Thursday and Friday. While we missed the control of choosing our meals, we also understood that many couples would enjoy the elegant, curated experience. The resort shares seven gourmet restaurants (Mexican, Jamaican, Italian, French, pan‑Asian, seafood, and more) plus a buffet with the neighboring Secrets St. James—all included in the Unlimited‑Luxury® package (). The variety was fantastic, and dining felt intimate and stylish. The beach was spotless and inviting—no seaweed in sight, contrary to what one might expect in some Caribbean areas. We relaxed on soft, clean sand under clear blue skies and calm waters throughout our stay. If I had to mention one downside—room service was offered 24/7, which was great, but one night our order took an hour and a half to arrive. We appreciated the convenience, though. Other than that, there weren’t any real negatives. ⸻ ⭐ Highly Recommended We left with a sense of peace, relaxation, and gratitude. Secrets Wild Orchid provided everything we value: healthy food, friendly service, fitness and wellness options, and impeccable cleanliness. For a restorative, romantic getaway, this resort truly delivers.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The adults-only, all-inclusive resort offered luxurious amenities, stunning ocean views, and impeccable service. The rooms were elegant and spacious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The dining options were incredible, with gourmet meals and top-shelf drinks. The beach was pristine, and the pool area was perfect for relaxation. I would highly recommend Secrets Wild Orchid to anyone looking for a romantic and luxurious getaway in Jamaica.
