This was my first time in Mexico and i can say it was a great one here!! Food was great, it was relaxing and quiet which is exactly what we needed when coming to this resort. The rooms were super nice and big and very clean. Our view was out to the main pool. There were lots of options for activities whether it was volleyball in the pool or the group biking with Ariel (a worker at secrets) This was one of my fun experiences in which we got to explore the town! Texas Holdem/casino night was fun aswell! The workers were very kind and respectful and made this stay great!! Fernando, Marco and Ariel were some notable employees that went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and actually made sure came to say goodbye on our last day. There were lots of great things to say about this resort and i would come again in a heartbeat!!

I felt the service and attention could be better. We stayed in a Master suite swim-out and the room was beautiful and huge. I can honestly say that in the resort itself, not the beach club, the staff was 2/5. They would walk by you and not even say hi or good morning. Having been to other Secret’s, they usually provide exceptional service (Antonio in the preferred pool was good). At times it felt very under staffed and when asking for help(access to preferred areas, availability of food)the staff was clueless. In the Beach Club however Gaspar and Edgar were super attentive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Having a preferred room not one time did we ever meet our concierge Alonso. I reached out to him because our room didn’t have the secrets beach bag they always provide and he only sent the day activities one day. The property is very nice and having access to the beach club made it even better. The food was ok. The best thing was the breakfast daily at Jasmine. If I were to come back I would prefer to stay at the beach side property.

We were here for 7 days in April 2025 and the resort is excellent. Extremely clean, well serviced, relaxing, and the staff do a great job at engaging everyone based on guest preferences. In particular, Luna from the entertainment staff always went above and beyond. Others from the entertain staff, including Samara, Sophie, and Ariana were great as well. Our favourite place to hang out was the main pool, but there are pockets all over the resort with different vibes depending on what you want. Service for food/drink at the main pool is great, and Sergio took care of us all week. The restaurants are all great for the most part. They also do special events on the terrace or by the pool every few days, so each night we experienced something different for food. The rooms are large and super clean, the shower is incredible, and the bed is super comfy. They do a great job at servicing the rooms as well. The only negative is that this is not near the beach, but if you book this resort you already knew that. They do a good job at bringing sand into the resort to make it feel more tropical. The beach club is relatively small, and if you don’t go early in the morning, you likely won’t get a seat. If I were nitpicking, another thing would be the creation of a dual-class system by offering services for additional money, such as “VIP dinners” that get you preferred spots during dinner… when I’m on vacation I don’t want to be constantly upsold on stuff, especially at resorts as high end as this. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would consider coming back.

Terrible experience. Stayed at this hotel for a week for our honeymoon in November 2024 and had the worst time. The room looks spectacular from first impressions but on a closer look we had bed bugs in our bed and the sheets were dirty. The attention to detail in general was just really poor and not what you’d expect for a hotel at this price!!!! I do not even know where to start with the food and the terrible service because it was just outrageously TERRIBLE!!!!!! We waited 2 hours to be served in the Japanese restaurant one night to then receive food that was inadequate and cold! The Japanese restaurant was probably the best one out of the bad bunch, I wouldn’t bother going to the Mediterranean one as the food wasn’t even fit for a dog. Although the hotel looks good, it really is just a concrete jungle and doesn’t resemble true authentic Tulum. The fact that it’s called a beach club too when it’s not on the beach! When you get the shuttle service to the beach you only have a tiny part of the beach you are allowed to sit on and you are all crammed in like sardines, it wasn’t relaxing at all! Going back to the food, I cannot believe that in a Mexican hotel NO Mexican food was available!!! The staff were not very approachable or helpful and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Book a holiday in Greece and get way more for your money and decent food!

I had a great stay at Secrets Tulum! The hotel has a calm, zen-like atmosphere with multiple pools spread throughout the property, creating a peaceful and relaxing vibe. I especially enjoyed the water therapy spa—it was refreshing and rejuvenating. The room was decently spacious, and I really liked the outdoor tub on the patio—it adds a nice touch. Just a heads-up, though: the tub only has cold water, not warm. The food was decent, with a good variety to choose from. A solid choice if you’re looking to unwind in a serene setting.
