Exceptional Service, Bruce my concierge went above and beyond for my special baby moon and I’m thankful for the great service we had at Secrets. Not as big as some of the other resorts, very laid back and relaxing. Would highly recommend for anyone not looking for a 24/7 party scene. Additionally, the treatment here is close to Diamond. They remember you, and it certainly shows. Lots of local shops nearby. Would also recommend you check out the massage place right outside the resort - take an immediate right and it’s across the street on your left. Pricing was half the price of the resorts and had an incredible couples massage that included a pre-natal (something the resort didn’t offer unfortunately otherwise I would of used the spa on-site) Great job also to the front desk staff along with the VIP individual Marco who assisted with extending me an additional night at a phenomenal price. Thank you all for your exceptional service, keep up the great work!

Biggest regret of the trip. Room was nearly $1000/night — totally not worth it. Food was terrible. We tried Nebbiolo (Italian restaurant) — mussels were tiny and smelled bad, clams had no meat, fish was fishy. Couldn’t finish anything. Room service was no better — shrimp tacos were over-fried, soup was too salty, and the sausage on the pizza didn’t taste fresh. We ended up ordering McDonald’s and Japanese ramen (not instant noodles) at midnight just to eat something decent. From the moment we entered, it felt off — the lobby starts with a staircase, and even just walking around inside or outside, everything felt old and worn down. Room had a broken faucet, peeling furniture, and no hot water. Beach was narrow, full of seaweed, and poorly maintained. Plastic lounge chairs were uncomfortable. I tried to check out early, and one staff member actually gave me a hard time — even said she didn’t care what kind of review I write. Well, here’s the review. From her tone alone, I could feel how little they value guests — and I had booked one of their top suites. We left the next day and moved to another hotel called EDITION which is much much better. Would absolutely not recommend — especially if you care about food, comfort, or basic respect.

Our stay at Secrets The Vine Cancun was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the incredible staff. A special shout-out to Allen and Miguel from the entertainment team – they were so much fun and did a phenomenal job keeping us engaged in the activities. Whether it was poolside games or evening events, they made every experience lively and memorable. The service throughout the resort was excellent. Everyone we encountered, from the wait staff to the housekeeping team, was friendly, attentive, and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The resort itself was very clean, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. The food was also a highlight, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Our favorite spot was the Sea Salt Grill. In the evenings, there was always something fun going on, with a great variety of entertainment to keep things interesting. We loved the mix of live music, shows, and themed events, which really added to the overall experience. Overall, Secrets The Vine Cancun was a perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and luxury.

Review: 4/5 We have stayed at this hotel before and have always had a wonderful experience. As usual, the food and service were excellent, and the staff was attentive and professional. However, during this stay, we did encounter a couple of issues that were disappointing. First, the ceiling in the toilet area of our room developed a leak. Thankfully, the butler quickly arranged for us to be moved to a new room. Unfortunately, the mattress in the new room was extremely uncomfortable, but once again, the butler took care of the issue by having it replaced. While we appreciated the prompt attention to these problems, dealing with them over the first two days of our stay was not ideal. Additionally, we were celebrating our birthdays during this trip. Aside from a banner on the door, there were no extra touches to acknowledge the occasion—not even a small upgrade after the inconveniences we experienced. Given the hotel’s reputation for exceptional service, this left us a bit disappointed. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay, but we expected a bit more in terms of attention to detail, especially considering our past experiences here. We’ll likely return, but we hope for a smoother experience next time.

My friend and I just visit this all inclusive resort in January. We had the best time. Its less of a party place which we were very ok with. The staff are truly amazing, they are so attentive and kind and they work so hard to keep your room clean, your drinks full, ect. The restaurants are first come first serve, but they do put your name on a wait list and text you through the Hyatt app when its your turn. The greek, italian, and steak place all had such amazing food. We only drank the house wine and it was great! The reviews say a bunch of things about the lobby being too hot and smelly. There is a smell near one of the bathrooms, I didn't notice it at the coffee bar, cocktail bar, or buffet. We didn't find it that hot, or no hotter than we expected in an open area of mexico when its +28-30C out. The pool was always clean, the beach was wavy but amazing. We had such a good time here.
