The Buffett market restaurant is the best one for lunch in the middle of the day, it had lots of options and different types of meals. Also recommend the sushi restaurant but the main course wasn’t good, just order sushi/ starters that you will be fine (more than one of each). The steakhouse had good meats as well, but the sides are really small and basic (order more as well). We paid for the upgrade (preferred members) which was awesome for the day that we arrived (1pm), because after 8am you will never find a chair in the general/common area, they need to increase the quantities of chairs in the pool area. However, the upgrade pool doesn’t provide a good vibe as the common one, the service for drinks wasn’t as good either, but it was valid for us to have the flexibility of both options. The room was great and the staff reception and attention in the hotel was excellent. In addition the hospitality room to take a shower after your check out was a great thing to have.

I'll actually give this resort 4+. Most resorts in MX and the Caribbean do not often offer "good" wine. It's mostly Boat Drinks and fancy cocktails. We choose this resort because it has a "wine theme" and we enjoy wine. The included house wines were good. Mostly reds from Argentina and Chile. The Spanish sparkling wine was also good. So, we felt we made a good choice with this resort. We chose to upgrade to Preferred and it was the right decision. I think we would have been disappointed if we did not take the upgrade. The preferred restaurants were very good. The one restaurant we did visit that was not preferred - was not very good. Our room was a JR Suite Oceanview. The two photos are from our room in the day and evening. The balcony was Huge and we loved it. The room was also very spacious and had every amenity you could want. Evening entertainment for us is super important. And, STV did not disappoint! Live bands, Silent Disco party, A Cabaret that was very Adult-themed and other events. A very good time. We have visited other AI resorts, and the service was often hit or miss. At STV the service was first class. Service throughout the property was excellent! This was in large part why we had such a good experience. While we did get a timeshare pitch - it was very understated and easily refused. No hard sell here. The one policy that we felt was unnecessary was the upsell on bottles of wine. We attended the free daily tastings and they did strongly encourage you to purchase bottles to have at dinner. We were happy with the house wine and did not think the additional expense was worth it. But, at the preferred restaurants there were certain tables (with the best views) that were reserved only for those purchasing bottles of wine. We thought the food at the resort was much better than our previous experiences at other resorts. Beautiful presentation and very good. We enjoyed our visit and will certainly consider another Secret's Resort. We don't plan to return to this resort only because we want to explore other areas outside of MX.

Literally amazing. The best part of this hotel is the food—so good that I’m not even willing to try a different hotel in the hotel zone. I’m already planning my next visit back. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout my stay. One small thing to be aware of: they are fairly aggressive in promoting the “vacation club,” which is essentially a timeshare. It’s clearly a lucrative business, so I understand why they do it, and it’s easy enough to avoid as long as you know to politely decline. Overall, an excellent experience and a place I will absolutely be returning to.

My girlfriend and I recently returned from a seven-day stay at Secrets The Vine Cancun in December, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The very first thing we noticed when we walked in was how clean the resort is. Our first entrance into the lobby on day 1 set the tone (the lobby = beautifully designed, spotless, and filled with a lemongrass scent from diffusers throughout the space.) It created a feeling of calmness and relaxation. I kept telling my girlfriend that I felt like I was in a spa every time I was in the lobby. From the moment you arrive, the staff is attentive, warm, and genuinely eager to help. The service level here is exceptional. Housekeeping and room service operate almost 24/7. Our room was cleaned while we were at the beach every day and staff was always checking in to see if we needed anything else through out the early evening. It truly feels tailored for couples, which makes sense given the 18+ atmosphere. The food deserves a special mention!!!!!!! It’s a solid 10/10 across the board. NO exceptions!!!! At the Mediterranean restaurant, Sebastian was an outstanding waiter; professional, friendly, and full of energy. Jorge, the manager, was equally fantastic. (Shout out the beef shawarma) The steakhouse was so good that we went two nights in a row. Alfredo, our server, made both visits memorable. At Dragons (Asian restaurant), our server Jorge (a different Jorge!) was a phenomenal server. His jokes, his genuine care for the patrons, and his willingness to go the extra mile with suggesting drink pairings and desserts made the experience a 10. Cesar at the Italian restaurant also deserves a big shout-out for excellent service. Chef Samara made our omelettes every morning at the Market Café. She is incredibly talented, always smiling, and clearly passionate about her craft. Love when you can sense that about someone. We also want to recognize Juan, who served us drinks on his very first day on the job and later surprised us by recognizing us again at the buffet. His enthusiasm and kindness stood out. Special shout out to Humberto from the buffet as well. On a couple occasions their espresso machine at the buffet was down I believe, he went all the way to the lobby bar to grab me a cappuccino. NOTE: all restaurant's on the resort are first come first serve. It confused us on day 1 because the wait times were long and the amount of people in front of you with their names already down was insane. Literally the next day we thought: "we could leave earlier to go for dinner OR!!! instead of stressing why not leave the beach taking this all into account - on the way up to our room or while we're getting ready, one of goes downstairs and "books" a spot in line. They message you on the Hyatt app when your table is ready and you have 15 minutes to make it from that point so that idea worked flawlessly for us the rest of our vacation. Beyond the restaurants, the beach experience was great. Carlos and crew work tirelessly setting up umbrellas and chairs so guests can relax and Daniel, our beach server, was attentive and very friendly throughout our stay. The ONLY complaint we have about the beach is for the beach chairs. Not too comfortable and quite difficult to switch the angle of the back rest while you're sitting on it at the same time. Security at the resort is top-tier and gave us complete peace of mind: gated entrance, security guards on-site, cameras along the beach, and staff verifying room numbers for beach access. It’s discreet but effective and adds to the overall sense of comfort. Most importantly, the entire experience felt luxurious, calm, and restorative. We truly did nothing for seven days except enjoy the sun, the beach, incredible food, and outstanding service just as we'd hoped to do when booking this trip. Secrets Divine Cancun exceeded every expectation. The staff here deserves immense praise, and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly, highly recommended.

Belated review following a visit in early November for two nights. Fantastic stay. Very nice pool areas with very attentive service. The sea was delightful with no sea weed. The entire service from staff was what makes this place stand out. It was so friendly. A special mention to the entertainment guy (I think his name was Jose) - such a lovely lad who put so much effort in and spoke perfect English. Food was largely really good with the exception of the Asian restaurant which we found to be over salted and of poor quality.
