The hotel is very nice and very clean, the beach is an absolute disaster! There is no beach . What is there is covered in sea-weed they just keep Piling it up and if you want to venture into the rocky ocean you have to climb over the seaweed and it stinks! Nice stroll along the water not gonna happen so if walking is your thing this is not your hotel. The pool is very average , securing a chair each morning set your alarm. They also have this ridiculous policy of 30 minutes if your gone longer they put your belongings in the lost and found. You can’t even get breakfast in less than 30, The Cabana’s well if you want one bring your wallet because that’s the only way to ensure one it’s quite the little side hustle and while we were there one of there concierge’s got caught doing just that. Staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the resort very clean. Food is all right but had better at other Secrets. This one has one restaurant for the Preferred section and it was nice but the menu didn’t change for our entire stay. The remainder of restaurants are on the Breathless side which you have access to but the food is average but the steak house was good. Entertainment was nice they have different things going each night and there was good options, just not someone singing the same thing each day. Overall stay was a bit of a disappointment primarily because there is no beach and nowhere to move around when your lounger get to be too much.

This place was absolutely amazing! We had exceptional care from all the staff. Many thanks to Mar (pool waitress), Daniel "Mikey" (pool attendant), Luis (at the preferred lounge), Luis (at the pool), also Juan & Adria. Everyone was helpful and extremely nice and made sure you were well taken care of. Food was exceptional, rooms were very clean and tidy. The shows were outstanding. We felt very welcome from the first day we arrived. We will definitely will be back, as I highly recommend this resort.

Great place for vacation, the service was phenomenal, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help. Luis at the preferred club lounge was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, romantic, and clean. The food was okay, there weren’t any reservations it was all first come first serve but we never waited more than an hour for a table, least favorite restaurant for service was the strip, best restaurant for food was silk and coquette. It was hard to schedule the activities if you didn’t wake up at 6am to schedule before anyone else. The last night we stayed the workers were very loud so we did not sleep well I am not sure if there was something going on or if generally people are drunk enough they don’t hear the clamoring but that was the most frustrating part, yelling and construction in the middle of the night.

Our first resort experience was... not good. Let me start off by saying that your staff is amazing. You would have gotten a 1 star otherwise. The drinks are hit or miss in strength, we didn't come to drink anyway. But the food was awful. Our entire party fell victim to food borne illness. The meat we ate all tasted like it was hard frozen for a really long time, and thawed too quickly. Then, cooked poorly. Wait times for the restaurants is pretty long. The activities they offered are really geared to a much older crowd I believe. All in all, I don't believe we'll be back to any Secrets resorts in our future.

We stayed on the Breathless side, but had access to the Secrets side. The pool staff at Secrets were amazing! Adrian, Daniel and Juan were top notch, very accommodating, kind, and made sure we had a chair to lounge in every day! Thank you for making our week a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
