The pros: The staff were top notch - especially Luis in the Preferred Lounge - he made the best drinks & had us walking past several bars just to get a drink from him. The food was good, the space was clean, the activities provided something for everyone, and the facility was small enough to get anywhere quickly but large enough to allow for 3 pools with different vibes & multiple restaurants. The free hydrotherapy that came with our package was nice. The infinity pools were gorgeous. The pool themes Thu-Sat were fun at the party bar. Go to Rosewater for breakfast & lunch vs. the buffet. The cons: The room was close to construction that woke us up every morning at 7am & they were unable to re-accommodate us. The room service menu was extremely limited, especially compared to other resorts so that was a bummer, especially when there are gaps between when the pools stop serving food and when dinner starts. The taco bar covers that 2 hour gap but only if you eat meat. We wished there was an easier place to keep track of all the stuff going on (kayaks from the beach, all the pop-up activities, etc. Even with the app & screen ads, we wish there was a full schedule on the TV or in the room to reference since the WiFi didn’t always make the app use possible and it was just a lot going on that we missed. Overall, would definitely recommend & would return (as long as Luis is still there). :)

Absolutely wonderful stay! I have been to the Cancun area several times and am always looking for the best resort for an affordable price. I was blown away with the service, food, and drinks here! Luis made the best Espresso martinis. Every staff member was incredibly helpful. I loved that the Secrets side is more relaxing and chill, but you can go to the Breathless side for more pool options and restaurants. The rooms are so clean and I loved the jacuzzi bath on the balcony. I know everyone mentions the seaweed on the beach but they do a great job cleaning it up every morning. Overall great resort!

This was my first experience with an all inclusive resort. Overall, the experience was very good. I’d like to praise the kind and hardworking waitstaff and service workers. I’ve never had my room cleaned and organized to such an extent. Everyone who worked there was so kind. I’m a light sleeper and I never heard another neighbor. The pool music seeped into the room but it stopped around 10pm so it was no bother. The food tasted very corporate which was acceptable but not exceptional. There were obvious corners cut with building the entire property and no attention to detail such as sloppy mud work etc, like you’d see in any new giant corporate chain. It gave a sad aspect but it is to be expected from modern corporate colonialism cash grabbing. I went because of a wedding and wouldn’t spend my money on it again, but if it is your thing, do it.

The hotel is very nice and very clean, the beach is an absolute disaster! There is no beach . What is there is covered in sea-weed they just keep Piling it up and if you want to venture into the rocky ocean you have to climb over the seaweed and it stinks! Nice stroll along the water not gonna happen so if walking is your thing this is not your hotel. The pool is very average , securing a chair each morning set your alarm. They also have this ridiculous policy of 30 minutes if your gone longer they put your belongings in the lost and found. You can’t even get breakfast in less than 30, The Cabana’s well if you want one bring your wallet because that’s the only way to ensure one it’s quite the little side hustle and while we were there one of there concierge’s got caught doing just that. Staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the resort very clean. Food is all right but had better at other Secrets. This one has one restaurant for the Preferred section and it was nice but the menu didn’t change for our entire stay. The remainder of restaurants are on the Breathless side which you have access to but the food is average but the steak house was good. Entertainment was nice they have different things going each night and there was good options, just not someone singing the same thing each day. Overall stay was a bit of a disappointment primarily because there is no beach and nowhere to move around when your lounger get to be too much.

This is a great luxurious adults only all inclusive hotel. It's only 20ish minutes from the airport. Only drawback is it doesn't have a nice beach. If you're more of a pool person this is a great spot. Food was delicious we never had a bad meal. The staff are incredible! Our favorite will always be Edwin and Rogelio!
