    We cannot recommend Secrets Playa Mujeres Resort enough! This was not only our first visit to Cancún but our first all-inclusive experience; it was an incredible way to spend 7 wonderful days. The food was no less than good but there were some fantastic meals such as the Japanese restaurant, Himitsu. The hotel is about to undergo a major remodel, but the grounds were lovely and the rooms overall were nice (sure, slightly dated but nothing significant). The pools and bar were fabulous and the entire team was EXCEPTIONAL. Having worked in hospitality many years ago, my partner and I truly appreciate great service and SPM did not disappoint. As queer individuals as well, we felt completely comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of. We did have one tiny incident that occurred but the staff were so quick to respond and made everything right, no questions asked (things happen, and we understand that). Huge, huge shoutout to Paulina - the PC Guest Services Manager and to Allison from Concierge. We were so impressed by their service and the whole experience that we have booked to stay at Secrets Moxché at Playa del Carmen in December. A huge thank you to the entire team and we look forward to returning when the renovations are completed.

    Just returned from a wonderful week spent at this resort. My finance and I loved it and had a really nice time. The pools were amazing, fun with lots of entertainment going on throughout the day. The beach was really nice. A bit of seaweed but not too bad. The room was clean and spacious with a jacuzzi tub which we enjoyed using. Staff was friendly and attentive, always available to help. Amazingly, for an all inclusive, the food was very good. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian place. We hope to visit again someday and definitely plan on visiting other Secrets resorts.

    Great experience! Each and every staff member was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the guests were happy. We hung out by the pool every day and Eugenia took the BEST care of us! She is awesome! The view of the beach from the pool can't be beat. The food is excellent. We can't wait to come back!

    We were here for our honeymoon last week and had the best experience- we can’t stop raving about it! The resort was beautiful even though I know renovations are starting this week, the water view is gorgeous, all the food was amazing! Each restaurant we went to had incredible service and amazing food. The staff is so kind and attentive , the spa was amazing , and top to bottom we had an amazing experience! We hope to come back in the future!

    It was so much fun to celebrate our honeymoon at Secrets Playa Mujeres! Right from the get-go we were warmly welcomed with a champagne toast and the staff was immediately helpful in getting our baggage to our room. The resort is a little spread out so you will have to take golf carts to get between the lobby, the spa/restaurants, and the rooms, but you will never have to wait too long to get a cart. The room that we had was very nice. Lots of room to spread out and there are a good number of amenities including a very nice bath, walk-in shower, fully stocked mini fridge, robes, and more. Our room had a partial beach view as well, which was very nice at sunset and sundown. The mini fridge was never fully stocked after taking stuff out of it, but room service and anything else you need was always just a call away and the staff is pretty timely in getting stuff to you. The resort does show it's age in spots, so it's not too surprising that it will be closing down in April for remodeling. There were definitely some parts of the resort that would benefit from a remodel. The pool was great and there is an ample amount of chairs to find a spot. Although it got pretty busy during the afternoon hours. The pool had a swim-up bar as well as an infinity pool with a nice view of the ocean as well. The ocean is very easy to get to from the resort and the beach has chairs to lounge in as well as bar and servers coming around to take your drink orders. It's also worth noting that the spa is definitely worth a visit! The hydrotherapy and massage combo was very relaxing. The restaurants on the resort were all really good. The buffet didn't necessarily blow me away but the other restaurants that we tried were pretty great. Our favorite was the Seaside Grill. The staff, from the golf cart drivers to the servers, were all really phenomenal and took every opportunity to make sure our experience was great. It was also fun to practice a little of our Spanish with them as well. There are a good number of activities to do during the day if you get bored of lounging by the beach and there are also some excursions that you can book through Amstar. Overall we had a really good time! The staff treated us great and it was very hard to head home when all was said and done!
