Review This resort is absolutely stunning. If you prioritize aesthetics, designs and moody sophisticated vibe, this is definitely a resort for you. It has some of the best pool selections we’ve ever experienced at a resort. From the large beach replica pool, to multiple little cenotes, and private smaller pools and hot tubs- this resort has it all. The food is as good as any 5 star resort, the Mexican restaurant, and the sea soul restaurant were some of our favorites. The bamboo vegan restaurant was surprisingly good as well. The only negatives about this place is the wait time to get into restaurants, especially if you come late. It seems as though they were understaffed at the time we were staying. But nevertheless this was a stunning property and we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Whether you're relaxing on your balcony/swim out area or enjoying the top-tier amenities, everything feels intentional and indulgent. The service at Secrets Moxché is unmatched. Every team member is warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay perfect. From the effortless check-in experience to the personalized recommendations, you feel pampered every step of the way. And the food—wow. I was amazed! With a huge selection of restaurants offering everything from elevated fine dining to vibrant international flavors, every meal feels like an event. The quality is consistently excellent, and the ambiance of each dining spot is uniquely memorable. The pools are immaculate, peaceful, and designed for pure relaxation. Whether you're sipping a drink by the water or floating in one of the incredible pools surrounded by gorgeous scenery, it's easy to lose track of time in the best way possible. The only downside of this resort is the beach. We stayed mostly at the pools but if you're a beach goer, this beach might be alittle disappointing. But again we went in March so maybe just maybe the season had to do something with our experience with the beach. Secrets Moxché isn’t just a resort—it's an experience. Romantic, luxurious, tranquil, and flawlessly executed. If you're looking for a getaway or honeymoon that feels special in every way, this is the place. I can’t recommend it highly enough. 🌴✨

Only writing this review so that other couples don’t pay the “price” of Moxche and expecting better service than the other secrets resorts. We also weren’t the only ones saying this while we’re there. We talked to many couples and they all had the same opinions. To start Secrets Moxché is absolutely beautiful the pools are stunning, and the resort itself feels new and upscale. But the service really fell short, especially compared to other Secrets resorts we’ve stayed at. We arrived early in the morning and were told we’d be contacted when our room was ready. Check-in was at 3, but we never heard from anyone, so we went back to the front desk around 3:30 and was told our room had been ready. no one had let us know. The pool service was the most disappointing part. We’d wait around 45 minutes just to get a drink order, and most of the time we ended up walking to the bar ourselves. We also tipped whenever we were at the bar or when they brought us a drink, yet it didn’t see to make a difference. In some areas of the pool, servers never came by at all. It really felt like they were short-staffed, with only one bartender working at a time at most bars and not enough staff at the pools. We also would not recommend paying extra for the Preferred Club. The rooftop pool is nice, but that’s really the only perk. Even there, service was just as slow, and the drinks were not premium like advertised. Many guests (including us) just walked up to the bar to order because it took so long to get service. The preferred club gave you access to rooftop breakfast however, make sure you get there right when they open or you may be sitting in a line with 11 other groups. One day when we went to breakfast we stopped up top to go to the preferred breakfast and the wait was 30-40 min, then proceeded to go downstairs for the only other option for breakfast which is the buffet and it was another 20-30 min. Plenty of open tables outside and in different areas of the breakfast buffet but felt like the staff was extremely short handed to handle more tables. Also should add they had at least one elevator down in each section. In a resort where you have to use the elevators for a lot of things, it really wasn’t functional. I know they are working on switching out the elevators and that’s why they were down, but expect to wait 5-10 minutes for a elevator ride depending on the time of day or in our case just walk the stairs (remind you preferred pool is on the 9th floor) Overall, Secrets Moxché looks incredible, but the service, staffing, and Preferred Club experience are nowhere near what we’ve experienced at Secrets Akumal, where the food, drinks, and staff were all amazing. We will be coming back to the Cancun area, just won’t be coming back to Moxche.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE JEWELRY STORE. We spent over $1000 to get some nice jewelry. We were assured it was high quality and long-lasting. We got two bracelets. Within a week, the silver was tarnishing on both bracelets. We happened to still be at the resort so went to complain/get a refund and they told us that the tarnishing is "normal" because of the seaweed in the air and that it would go away when we got home and cleaned it. This turned out to be false and they do not give refunds. Within a month of purchase, multiple gemstones had fallen out of the first bracelet and the second bracelet completely snapped off. This is after infrequent wear with light activity. I am giving 4 stars overall because besides the SCAM jewelry store I have no complaints, we had a great stay at the resort. It is quiet, beautiful, full of fun activites and very kind staff members. Management needs to shut this jewelry place down or at least look more closely into the supplier/creator - it does not represent the resort and their high quality standards.

Our getaway to Secrets Moxche was amazing! We spent nine nights and made some wonderful lifetime memories. This was our first experience with the Secrets resorts and we were impressed. The resort itself was smaller than many we've visited but quite nice and fancy. Service was very good, as were the rooms, food and grounds. This is an adults only resort focused more on weddings and couples. The nightly shows were quite good. The nightlife, including the Speak Easy is off the chain! We hope to return one day!
