Pros: • Very kind staff (especially Jessica in piano bar) • Evening entertainment every night. • Amazing location (safe & secluded with easy beach access) not crowded at all. • Gorgeous sea views from our room and from most restaurants. • Good air conditioning. • Cocktails at Barefoot grill and Piano bar were delicious. Overall, bar service was great. Cons: • Outdated decor (overall condition of the property) • Room service/front desk don't answer the phone. • Only one small (plus preferred club members) pool. • Sun loungers are very dirty & stained. • Ordered breakfast and it wasn't delivered, & when they did eventually deliver breakfast, they forgot half of our order. • Breakfast and dinner buffet food was a bit disappointing, especially compared to the quality of other restaurants in the resort. Olio and Barefoot grill had much tastier food than buffet. • The front desk guy was angry and stressed, throwing his hands up and cursing in Spanish. He served us and all was well but his attitude made for a very uncomfortable interaction.

We stayed here 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was nothing short of amazing! The hotel is beautiful and the attention to detail from the staff was impeccable. The fresh seafood at every meal was delicious and the best of any secrets resort we have been too. The beach is absolutely beautiful crystal clear. Our room had access to the spa hydrotherapy circuit which was fun and refreshing. Mineral waters delivered to our rooms daily with chocolate and the dessert platter for our honeymoon was such a nice touch. I can’t wait to come back one day!! 😊😍

I celebrated a big milestone birthday with some friends at the resort and it was such a wonderful experience. From planning my birthday celebrations activities with the guest experience manager to arriving at the resort was reassuring.The hotel rooms for me and my group of friends were clean, we all had beautiful beach front views and the complimentary items provided in the rooms was top notch. The staff were very friendly, and provided excellent customer service, the ambience and furnishings around the hotel are beautiful. There are lots of beautiful places to take pictures, lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna and soothing spa treatment options and a decent bar with great entertainment atnight on selected days. There are various cafes to dine in and an excellent buffet selection for breakfast and dinner. The swift assistance by the manager and staff to meet our needs was second to none. My friends and I had a memorable time staying at the resort and will definitely visit again as we all given five star treatment. Thanks for a wonderful time. 💯 Monica, UK

DO NOT BOOK!!! Believe the 1-star reviews—this resort is pretending to be a 5-star establishment but is, at best, a 2-star motel. While the check-in was pleasant, it was the only highlight of our stay. The online pictures look gorgeous, and the grounds are indeed beautiful, but the rooms are mediocre at best. We booked the presidential suite, supposedly the nicest room available. The room had a spectacular view with large windows, which only distracted from the cracks in the walls and the non-functioning air conditioner. The temperature never dropped below 26°C (79°F). Despite being a “preferred guest” with access to a preferred lounge, the lounge was nothing more than a few chairs with basic snacks and wine. Furthermore, they insisted you stay in the lounge to consume the food. The suite supposedly came with a stocked fridge and bar, but they were never restocked. The room was too hot to comfortably walk through or sleep in, let alone for staff to restock anything. The front desk staff during check-in was friendly, but the service from the afternoon and night shifts was atrocious. They barely acknowledged guests, treating them as an inconvenience. The app for room service and maintenance requests never worked, and the phone in the room had no directory, making it impossible to get assistance. In-person requests at the front desk were met with frowns and disdain. Poolside service was equally frustrating. Finding a towel required waiting for an attendant who was often absent, or facing scolding if you attempted to grab one yourself. Dining at the Olio restaurant was a nightmare, with nearly a 2-hour wait due to poor WiFi preventing our order from being placed. Guest services offered a 20-30 minute massage and a private dinner, but these did not compensate for the overall poor experience. The private dinner, part of our all-inclusive package, felt redundant and insincere. If you have access to the preferred lounge, note that it closes at 10:30 PM, leaving you without water. The front desk staff were unhelpful, refusing to provide water even when the advertised turn-down service failed to restock our fridge because we never received the turn down service. We had to resort to asking for water at the piano bar. The best part of our stay was checking out early and moving to another hotel. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. I took a few days to write this as to not seem to harsh during the time. I am also waiting to hear back from the director as I was told that is the only way to get management after hours. So Alejandro Garrido since you haven’t written me back here is a review for you to consider. It is a shame that Hyatt has their standards so low with this resort

Location is very nice as are the grounds. Little pricey for food and beverages. Beach is nice but no chairs/umbrellas on beach. Biggest grievance is our rooms were too hot. Hotter than the expansive lobby. Despite multiple requests for assistance, no relief provided. Very difficult to sleep as a result.
