It is nice really, but no one told u we are not allowed to smoke anywhere before we came to the hotel. I do understand to not smoke everywhere but at least put some seats where there is a smoking area. The rooms were nice but not soundproof at all. We could hear the snoring from our neighbours next door. The breakfast was amazing, coffee and drinks as well. The restaurants were mostly fine but desserts were not good at all. Idk what it is about all inclusive Desserts, they tend to taste flavorless. The staff was mostly great, some people at the bar and coffeeshop were really annoyed and i get, that you can have a bad day, but some of them have been like this every day. Beach was amazing, but it is really annoying that people reserve beach chairs and nobody is doing anything against it. Overall the hotel is nice and clean. Food is mostly good. But it wasn’t worth the money in my opinion.

The place is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. It was almost inedible, which was very surprising given how amazing the property is. We've tried three different restaurants so far, and every meal has been a letdown. The only thing we've genuinely enjoyed has been the coffee. We're planning to try a few more places tonight, but at this point we're very disappointed and still very hungry. I expected the food to be one of the highlights here, but it's hard to fully enjoy such a wonderful place when you can't find a meal you like. Sadly, based on our experience so far, we probably won't be coming back. Update: We also tried Noor, and unfortunately our experience was just as disappointing. The food quality was poor, and the taste was not good. We ordered the butter chicken, but it tasted more like chicken in ketchup than a traditional butter chicken sauce. After trying multiple restaurants, we've been very surprised by the lack of flavor and quality. like a ketchup with chicken

A Heartfelt Thank You to Secrets La Romana We spent 4 wonderful days at Secrets La Romana. I want to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to the entire team, especially Carlos, Solor, and Wilian (Caoba Restaurant). Being allergic, I was moved by their meticulous care; they even cleaned the grill surface and used fresh olive oil just for my eggs. While standard fried foods were available, they brought a separate pan to fry potatoes specifically for me. This level of dedication is rare. They were always smiling, polite, and remembered my personal preferences. Standout Staff: Yuliana is a powerhouse of energy; her positivity and activities will instantly lift your spirits. Esperanza in the restaurant was incredibly sweet and positive 🍀, and Nachaly at the concierge was always ready with a smile and fun conversation. The Resort & Preferred Club: The resort is vast, allowing for plenty of movement. A big plus is having access to the restaurants at the neighboring Dreams La Romana. Regarding the Preferred Club upgrade: I don’t think it offers a significant advantage as the exclusive area is quite small and limited. The main difference was the cocktail quality. Our mini-bar (3 waters, 2 colas, 2 light beers) didn't feel like a "premium" package. However, room cleanliness was flawless with twice-daily service and sweet surprises like chocolates 🤍. Areas for Improvement: * Dining: The food was disappointing. We couldn't get a hot meal; everything arrived cold. The buffet also lacked variety, serving the same items daily. For someone who knows Turkish cuisine, the food here might not satisfy. Suggestion: Consider opening a Turkish restaurant instead of a Mediterranean one! • Entertainment: Aside from the excellent Michael Jackson tribute, evening activities were lacking. Since the resort is secluded, the on-site entertainment needs to be higher quality to avoid boredom. Conclusion: If these two issues are addressed, we would truly consider this our "vacation home." We loved it here despite the flaws. Thank you for everything! 🤍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Good Stay at Secrets La Romana Secrets La Romana delivered a wonderful experience from start to finish. The beach was beautiful, and during my stay the water was clear and completely free of seaweed, which made it even more enjoyable. The resort has large, well‑kept pools with plenty of space to relax, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. There’s a nice selection of restaurants, and the food was well presented and thoughtfully prepared. Each meal felt fresh and enjoyable, with enough variety to keep things interesting throughout the stay. Overall, I give Secrets La Romana a very good review. Great beach conditions, friendly service, spacious pools, and quality dining all came together to make this a relaxing weekend.

Terrible staff at the restaurants. Waiters don't care about you at all . Don't bring drinks and if they do theyll bring one and never come back, we walked out our first restaurant for dinner since we were seating for 10-15 mins and no body took our order . Our room smelled like throw up when we first got there told the cleaning lady that was in the hallway to change our towels because that's where the smell was coming from , the lady never came back with towel replacements . We ended up getting new towels the following day . Our first day a guy was disrespecting our partners and started a small fight with us, just because he thought we owned the pool table and started demanding it and grabbing/pulling the stuff from our hands and ended up punchinfg my friend in the chest, we were 100% sober and aware of everything going on . the security and the staff didn't handle the situation correctly , since they saw that we weren't happy at all in the way they handled the situation, all they offered us was a "nice dinner " , and made my friend sign a warning letter for "breaking the resort rules ". Mostly all workers seem like they don't want to work there . The only good experience we had at this place was at Sakura Asian restaurant waiters and chefs were amazing and treated us correctly . Same thing with spa staff , and jeifry at pool bar . Don't recommend this resort . Or dominican republic overall .
