There's a lot to love here. We only stayed 3 nights and could have used a couple more.
The rooms were convenient with the secret box. We had a swim out room. The beach is the best in the area. I had a great time playing beach volleyball.
The food was excellent and the staff was always walking around during the day providing treats like a Popsicle martini.

This was our second visit to Secrets Cap Cana, and somehow, it was even better than our first in 2019! From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—our room was stunning, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive, and the entire property was breathtaking. Service is top-notch—you never have to wait for a drink or a bite to eat because the staff is always there, ready to take care of you.
The food was fantastic (highly recommend the Hibachi restaurant!), and the drinks were just as impressive. We also treated ourselves to massages at the spa, which were absolutely amazing. The spa itself is an experience, featuring multiple types of showers, a cold plunge, hot pools, a sauna, a steam room, and cascading waterfalls—it was the perfect way to unwind for a few hours.
Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t recommend this resort enough. If you're looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway with outstanding service, this is the place to be!

True luxury at every turn. Grand entrance and property, friendly and professional service, and a pristine sandy beach. The preferred rooms with walk-out pools are really nice, but this time we had a balcony and the view was exceptional. The food is a serious standout though. For lunch today I had the ribeye and was expecting a small portion, but received a giant one - which was so perfectly prepared and seasoned I ate the whole thing. In the Parisian restaurant for dinner we had magical crab appetizers and couldn’t stop asking for more, and then for dessert they made the crepe in front of us and it was dinner and a show. It felt like we were in Paris for an hour or so. You will taste the luxury.

We visited for 4 nights the second week of December. It was not a perfect visit but good enough that we enjoyed ourselves and plan to repeat this vacation annually to a beach in December but probably not at this resort. Pools were great, clean, and cool but not cold. The pools bar poured drinks that were low on alcohol and high on mixer ( not balanced). We found a bar near the lobby where the drinks were balanced. The view was beautiful. The ride from airport was not long at all. Recommend having a ride lined up to and from resort before you get there as it is a mad house for people looking for a ride to hotels from airport. The seafood place at resort I cannot recommend. We did a wine tasting for extra cost and really enjoyed that. Overall, it was fun and relaxing.

Food and drinks were decent, typical resort food in my opinion.
Service was absolutely AWESOME!
Rooms were nice and clean.
