Secrets Baby Beach in Aruba was better in some ways than Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana and Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, but lacking in several important areas. Secrets Baby Beach resort facilities and location were outstanding and the food was very good. Baby Beach is near the resort and we felt safe walking there every day. The restaurants Portofino and Oceania were very good, Himitsu was fine, but Tierre was just ok. Our encounters with the wait staff were mixed with some providing excellent service while others were less than satisfactory. Poolside service was good some days and scarce other days. Portofino has a dress code that requires long pants for men but the staff allowed many men to wear shorts so why is there a restaurant dress code if it’s not enforced. The experience in our Preferred Club room at Baby Beach was vastly different and deficient compared with the other Secrets resorts. First, our butler never contacted us after check-in which was shocking and completely opposite of our experience at the other Secrets resorts. Second, we didn’t get a room upgrade even though the resort wasn’t overwhelmed with guests. Third, one of us had a birthday during our stay which was completely ignored. Fourth, the Preferred Club lounge needs to be in the same building as the Preferred Club rooms. Finally, food options in the Preferred Club lounge were minimal.

I chose Secrets Baby Beach to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and overall, it was an incredible experience that delivered luxury, warmth, and unforgettable memories. From the moment we arrived, we felt celebrated and truly cared for. Our butler, Jack, was nothing short of phenomenal, an absolute master of his craft. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and went out of his way to make my partner’s birthday feel extraordinary. From thoughtful surprises to seamless planning, Jack transformed our stay into a perfectly curated celebration. His level of service alone set the tone for the entire trip. The entertainment staff added nonstop joy to our experience, especially Lisa, who truly made our trip. Her energy, personality, and genuine enthusiasm were contagious. She made every activity memorable and brought so much life and laughter to our celebration. Lisa has a rare gift of making guests feel seen, included, and special. Dining across the resort was exceptional, with the staff at Oceana standing out for their attentive service. Every meal felt like an experience, and the food across all restaurants was top-tier, beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and consistently delicious. The only reason this experience wasn’t a perfect five out of five was the ocean-view side, which also has views of the construction of new Baby Beach hotels of Dreams or Breathless, which was shared with us when we did the Hyatt Unlimited presentation. I truly wish I had known this in advance, as the view was not much to look at and definitely took away from the ambiance we expected. In hindsight, we would have chosen the poolside view, which would have been far more enjoyable during this time. That said, Secrets Baby Beach still delivered an unforgettable birthday celebration filled with incredible service and lasting memories. With a little more transparency around construction views, this resort would be absolutely flawless.

This resort is stunning as all Secrets resorts are. Food is fantastic and staff is amazing. The breakfast omlete makers are fabulous. Room service and house keeping so wonderful. The resort is out of city but the drive to town is just fine with a rental and they offer bus rides twice per week. Baby beach is stunning and snorkeling is a MUST!!

Loved it! Excellent food and food choices. Very clean rooms and easy access to everything in the resort. Clean and refreshing pools. One particular stand out is Sophia at the Market. Soooo attentive, friendly, she always remembers your drink selections and how you like your coffee.

Secrets Baby Beach Resort in Aruba is an exceptional resort. It has been newly renovated, the food is great, and the service is excellent. A special thank you to Sophia in the buffet—she served us almost every day for breakfast and lunch. She was personable, professional, and had a wonderful sense of humor, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this resort.
