We were in the preferred section the bar tender I believe you spell Leonelle was the best, top notch service, friendly, always helpful…Claudia was great as well very helpful and nice. Will definitely return because of that experience , but if you go book room 4115 great room good slide down to the preferred pool….food was good but the Italian restaurant was closed so that was the only disappointment. Great coffee shop. This place was not busy and was great. Again I hope they recognize the 2 people I mentioned they deserve it…..see you again

Only giving it a two star rating because of the service from staff & the ocean front snorkeling which was beautiful. - Our room was nice but had to put in multiple maintenance requests. Bathroom door coming off hinges & the bathtub pipe was broken & unusable. - Most restaurants were closed majority of the time we were there even though the app would state they were open. The only restaurant that was worth while was Bordeaux but only for dinner. - Hotel was pretty old & unfortunately the rain / humidity was damaging the building heavily. Our last day there hallways ceilings were pealing off in chunks which was concerning. - Not much to do & didn't advertise when they would do events which was disappointing. Paid for preferred club but didn't see much of a difference in preferred versus regular. Overall the staff was very friendly & helpful, but the irregular restaurant hours & subpar food made it kind of disappointing. Won't be visiting this resort again & won't be recommending. Stay at Secrets in Puerto Vallarta for better experience, activities, food, & drinks.

Pretty much the same as previous reviews. My husband and I honeymooned here. We had a great time. But we wouldn’t come back again. The staff were fantastic. 6/5 stars. Shoutout to Alex who went above and beyond for us. Temo was also great! We had so much fun whenever he was around. The snorkelling was lots of fun. However there is a chance you may not see sea turtles as advertised, we didn’t. The main issue with the hotel is water damage/black mold in the room as others have mentioned. Our shower was leaking into the bedroom area, which we reported and they quickly fixed. The staff mentioned the resort is getting renovated within the next year or two. So nothing they can really do until then. Mexico is a humid place, it wasn’t that big of a deal for us. I only have real two complaints. We went in the off season (October) so the resort was filled to less than half capacity. But they also mentioned there was an entire area of the hotel that was closed so that could be why. For this reason, our bar was never open, which meant no one was ever in our pool and we had to go to the “preferred” area for a drink or if we wanted to socialize. Which you need to pay an upgrade for. We had a swim out room so this was disappointing. Restaurants alternate when they open, again because of being less than half capacity, so it’s confusing trying to figure all of that out. Second, the food was overall subpar. I am by no means a picky eater, but there were several a la carte dishes I could not eat. Some were over cooked, some under. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. The one at dreams was much better, but again you need to pay for the preferred member upgrade to go there. There were a few dishes at Gohan and Boudair restaurant that were delicious, though. We did get sick twice. One after the pizzeria at dreams (I’m assuming it was dirty water, it was the only time my husband drank it) and once from a room service burger that I begged my husband not to eat based on the smell alone. I would recommend staying away from the beef. The coffee at coco cafe was delicious. Honestly it almost made up for the bad food. Wendy was our favourite. We rented a scooter for a day and went all around the island. San Martin beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. I highly recommend it. We never felt unsafe, but we did run into another couple who got scammed by police saying they “missed a light” and had to pay them to let them go. Bring good bug spray!! It might be obvious to most people, but mosquitos were not something I considered. The resort only has natural stuff, which smells very nice, but doesn’t work as well as deet even though the resort tries their best to smoke them out. I looked like I had just had chicken pox when our week was over.

We just got back last night from spending a week at this resort. This has been our 12th time to Cozumel and our third at this resort. We went last November and everything about the resort was outstanding. This trip, however, was awful. We had NO hot water for a week. I'm not a picky eater and will pretty much eat anything, but the food at the resort this time around was completely awful, some of it was not edible. The service and care of the guest was lackluster at best. Restaurant openings were severely limited. We love the island, but we will absolutely not be back to this resort.

Beautiful resort due for a makeover. Still very pretty, clean and well maintained. Staff are excellent! Food is excellent! Menus change every day. Gorgeous sunsets every night! Not far from town.
