★★★★★ Updated review — the Old Palace deserves better than my original rating. I initially left a lower review due to a spa experience, but I've since learned the spa is operated by a separate company and is being replaced in the coming weeks. That's not the hotel's fault, and they shouldn't carry that score. The food was delicious — genuinely better than what I've had at large resorts in Greece or elsewhere. When Chef Mahmoud learned about my celiac disease, he took special care to make sure I was looked after. That kind of attention matters and it doesn't happen at most places. Mahmoud and the front kitchen staff, the room cleaners, the gardeners — the staff as a whole were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. There's a warmth here in how the team treats people, accommodating and respectful, even when some guests don't return the favor. At the end of the day, a resort is its people. The rest is just a building and upsell services, and those shouldn't carry the same weight as the team that actually makes your stay what it is. It's a big operation and nothing runs perfectly every moment, but the dedication here is real. Beautiful location, clean sandy beach in Sahl Hasheesh, and a team that genuinely cares. Thank you to everyone who made our stay memorable.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the hotel with our company, and I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the entire team for their professionalism and warm hospitality. A special thanks goes to Mr. Tamer, who handled our booking with exceptional dedication. He followed up with us step by step, was extremely attentive to all our requests, and ensured that everything was executed perfectly. His commitment truly stood out, especially as he postponed his weekly day off to be present and support us throughout the entire stay. I would also like to thank Mr. Anwar, the Front Office Manager, for his outstanding cooperation and for making all procedures smooth and seamless for our group. Finally, my heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for their excellent service, welcoming attitude, and genuine hospitality. They made our stay comfortable and truly enjoyable. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again.

We had a lovely stay at Old Palace Resort. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing, with a great beach! What really made the experience special was the outstanding staff. Special thanks to Mr Moamen (Duty manager) and Mr Wael & Mr Mohamed at reception (Front office) for their warm welcome and professionalism. Mr Ahmed X and Mr Ismail in the restaurant deserve praise beside Chef Ahmed for the delicious good-range food. All staff members had energy and friendliness, went above and beyond to make our holiday speacial. Highly recommended, and I would definitely return!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed my vacation. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. A very special thank you goes to the animation team – they were absolutely amazing! Their energy, positivity, and professionalism made my holiday unforgettable. They created such a fun and engaging atmosphere every day, whether it was sports activities, games, or evening shows. They were always smiling and motivating guests to join, but never being pushy. You could really see how much they love what they do. They are a huge asset to this hotel and made my experience truly special. The only small downside was the bathroom in my room. It felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation. However, it was clean and fully functional, so it did not significantly affect my stay. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel – especially because of the incredible animation team. I would happily come back again!
