A Perfect Stay – Exceptional Service & Stunning Views! Our stay at Sea Diamond Hotel in Mauritius was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the fantastic team, making us feel at home instantly. We stayed in room 218, which offered breathtaking views and was impeccably maintained. The comfort and cleanliness exceeded our expectations, and it was the perfect spot to unwind. The service was outstanding—every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special thank you to General Manager Raj, whose attentiveness and professionalism made a huge difference. His team was equally impressive, always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with anything we needed. Rama was an amazing host and Krishna had been the best cook we have met on all the holidays we have been on. Vanisha and Sandy were amazing in the spa - with a full body scrub, massage and facial - was one of the best I had. All the front of house ladies and credit to all the staff at the main bar and restaurant. Youna and Vimanee and Nishta were lovely ladies. The food was another highlight, with a great variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. Every meal was a delight, and the dining experience was enhanced by the attentive staff. Overall, our experience at Sea Diamond Hotel was 5-star in every way. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting Mauritius. Thank you to Raj and the entire team for making our stay so memorable—we can’t wait to return!

We booked on the fly as we were driven out of our previous hotel by noise. This place is excellent. Checking in was a pleasure and our junior suite was light, airy and spacious. The layout of the hotel was extremely attractive and the staff efficient, courteous and attentive. We loved the small, Adults only, beach section, a really peaceful spot. See note. The Bar/Restaurant and lounge areas were very good indeed and the food was of a good standard. We are regular visitors to the Island and would not hesitate to return to this delightful hotel.

Horrible experience for Easter. Booked for the 19th and 20th of April and got confirmation. We Did FULL payment. We reached there thinking it was a five star hotel. We were a bit confused when we had to carry our own luggage into the hotel lobby(a bit tricky when I am 30 weeks pregnant) There was no staff to welcome us, no welcoming drinks. But we really wanted to have a good family time, so we kept our hopes high. There were several guests waiting for check in in the lobby. Soon after the staff came to inform us that they didn't receive our reservation(Full payment was already done). They promised to arrange for rooms within 30min. After nearly THREE hours of waiting they asked us to LEAVE the premises because they had no rooms!! The “guest relations and marketing managers” were RUDE. Not even an apology. Zero consideration for my old parents and kids..Tilll now we are still awaiting our refund! There are nicer hotels in Mauritius! Plz beware before being fooled by the nice pictures. It didn’t bother them that we had kids with us. Cheap behaviour! The hotel itself is very small. It's an old 2 star hotel which has been 'renovated'. Definitely NOT a five star!!!! The attitude of those two 'managers' on duty on that day was despicable. I do NOT recommend this place! My worst experience in a mauritian hotel! Our little kids were looking forward to a nice holiday! But you people ruined it all with your lousy and unprofessional attitudes! Learn to check your reservations! REPLY TO 'MANAGEMENT TEAM' Greetings . I had booked THREE rooms; not one. And emails were sent to your reservations for all THREE rooms by the agency on the 15th April at 11.11am and 11.19 am. It has already been shown to us by the agency with proof. On arrival( 1400) you claimed we had NO reservations at your hotel. One of your 'managers' came and asked us to wait for at least one hour to get all the rooms cleaned. We waited till 16.45 without complaining. Another 'manager' came and informed that we'll have to wait for another hour to get the rooms- We had already waited for 3 hours which is UNACCEPTABLE knowing that we had two elderly people, 3 kids and one pregnant woman. We have not been rude to any of your staff. You people have been rude and have FAILED to do your duty. You mistreated our whole family including my old parents and our children.. This type of misbehaviour will not be tolerated and accepted. P.S HOSPITALITY and RESPECT: Kindly learn and ponder on these key words which you two 'managers' clearly lack. Nothing against your junior staffs; at least they have basic manners and know how to treat people.

An amazing experience. Before going there, we had no idea what kind of hotel this was. But after staying there for one night, we were fully satisfied and would highly recommend it. We chose the room with the bathtub, a very spacious and comfortable room with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed an amazing massage at the spa, food was delicious and the drinks are the bar were well prepared. Very friendly and professional staff. A true 5 star experience. No complaints

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price We stayed here for our wedding anniversary expecting a memorable and relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, our experience was far from that. On our very first night, the service at dinner was shockingly poor. One waiter blatantly ignored me despite me waving to get his attention multiple times — and this was with only a few tables occupied! My husband tried to justify it by saying maybe they were tired, but that doesn’t excuse the second waiter literally throwing the butter dish on our table and walking off without a word. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Food-wise, the main dish options are very limited. They focus heavily on vegetables and fruits, which is fine for balance, but not when it comes at the expense of variety or taste — especially at a resort where you expect quality and choice. To make things worse, drinks at dinner are not included — not even soft drinks or water, which is absolutely ridiculous for a resort that charges this much. You only get two water bottles per day, and with the heat, that’s nowhere near enough. They also give you two coffee capsules, and any more comes with a charge. It’s frustrating and feels cheap for a supposedly high-end place. There’s no room service either — yes, you read that right. No option to order anything to your room. All in all, I paid a significant amount expecting a special, well-rounded experience. Sadly, it fell short on multiple levels. I highly recommend considering another resort — one with better hospitality, more dining options, and basic services that actually meet expectations. Overall, I paid a lot expecting a special experience, but it didn’t live up to the hype at all. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with good service, variety, and proper hospitality, I highly recommend choosing another resort — one that offers multiple restaurants and different cuisines, and actually cares about guest experience.
