Hmm, felt more like an impersonal package holiday resort than an upmarket 5* hotel (although we had just come from luxury boutique riad so maybe a bit of a culture clash). It's a huge place with an enormous pool blasting terrible music. Room ok but a lamp flickered intensely, AC was noisy and the toilet running (don't cleaners report stuff like that?). There's an iron/ironboard though and a coffe/tea maker in the room but no minibar. There's weirdly a fridge that you're not allowed to put anything in, snacks, water, beers etc. will be confiscated at entrance. Positives: The lobby bar and proximity to airport.

Room, shower, location and breakfast were good. We had a rude awakening at 2am when room service walked into the room unannounced. We did not get any sleep later. Spoken to duty manager next morning. She did mention she would contact us before we left. But no update on this. On day of checkout our lights were turned off and wireless access was blocked at 10am, when the checkout clearly states 12 noon. We could not be bothered to query since previous query was not followed up. There is nothing mentioned in hotel description that you cannot bring outside alcohol or food in the hotel. But when you get there that is the case. So if you want to bring your own alcohol or food don't book this hotel. Also pretty sure that you will get better service and rooms for the same price at other hotels in Marrakech. Definitely not coming back to this hotel.

Very nice hotel, staff always attentive and helpful. The hotel is massive 2 big pools outdoors and 2 indoors. There is many rooms, spaces and restaurants as well, which we didn't explore. The hotel is going through some renovations but didn't hamper our stay at all and no noise at any time. There is many nice restaurants within walking distance of this hotel and bonus of having a mall and grocery store next to the hotel. We booked this hotel as it is located 8 mins drive from the hotel on our last day. They even allowed us to extend our checkout free of charge which is a really nice touch to finish off our trip to Morocco.

The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Sara at the Reception was awesome at check in and very helpful throughout our stay. Lina at the concierge/travel desk was very polite and helpful in arranging a car for a trip to the Atlas Mountains including Telouet and Aït Benhaddou (Ilyass our driver was not only a great and safe driver - but very knowledgeable about the locations and made the trip to the Atlas mountains very special for us). The breakfast at the hotel every morning was AMAZING. The area around the hotel is active and the mall is right next to it, but you feel secluded from it. It is also a 15 minute walk to the main train station.

The hotel is decent but as a 5 star hotel there is a huge gap that needs to be filled. Pros: Centrally located Lots of good places to eat around Proximity to convince stores and malls Kids friendly Pet friendly Pools and gym Breakfast- this was the highlight for us Live music in the evening Walking distance from M Avenue Cons: Rooms are dated Linen and towels are super old and almost feel like they have not been properly washed with hard stains Room cleaning is slow as the staff is overwhelmed with sheer volume of rooms they are responsible for Spa is overpriced for the service you get Final thoughts: if you enjoy just the pool and drinks and dont care about room condition then this place is good for you. Also remember to haggle the fares for yellow taxi that you call from the hotel lobby before you get in as they tend to overcharge.
