We can honestly not fault this hotel at all. Me and my husband stayed here for a week for our 10year wedding Anniversary to be greeted with a welcome drink rum punch, to then be taken straight to our room that went straight to the pool, with a bottle of champagne and card on our bed. The staff I can not praise them all enough they are a credit to the hotel so attentive throughout the whole holiday, always so happy and ready to help you enjoy the beautiful island. All inclusive Food and drink was really good the hotel itself is beautiful they are constantly cleaning it’s spotless. The evening entertainment we enjoyed a lot, and the beach watching the sunset in the evenings was something else stunning. Thank you for having us we will be back in the near future John and Nikki

For Brit on holiday the hotel was more than acceptable. Big room, good location. Pool was cold. Our toddler loves swimming but refused this cold pool, don’t blame her. General value is poor. For what we paid and what you get I just don’t see how Barbados will last. Perhaps the target market is Americans with more cash, but this hotel for 6 days was £2000. Not great value for me. Great holiday, but won’t go back to Barbados when the world has so much more to offer for less. Generally very friendly staff! Manager at the beach restaurant treats you like a second class citizen if you don’t have food included in your package, very rude.

We have now stayed at Savannah Beach 9 times and it gets better with each visit The location is superb if you want to explore the island, just jump on a bus outside to go anywhere and great value at $3.5 per ride. The hotel is very well kept and always clean and tidy and the welcome by reception staff after a long journey is 1st class. There are a few members off staff that I have to mention. MR Messiah, Wren, Beverly,Jalisco,Aquila, Richard, Elissa,Omar,Nadia,Analis, Ray Miller, Rhosheda,Tiffany,Sherrfia Jamaica,Shem, Samantha and all the staff that I have forgotten who do a great job The 3 restaurants all serve really nice food and we loved the Sunday Roast especially. The beach has plenty off shade with the trees and as much as we like to sunbathe the shade is welcome, access to the sea is not great due to all the coral but if you walk down the beach a little there is good access. All in all another great visit to Savannah and we look forward to returning at the end of the year 😀 Paul and Caroline Carolan ♥️

Just returned from a 2nd trip to the Savannah Beach and can't understand some of the poorer reviews so if you are due to stay here I hope this puts your mind at rest. Firstly the previous comments regarding steps is correct, if you have mobility issues this isn't the place for you, although there is a lift but it's not obvious where it is unless you need it. Firstly the rooms - we were in 720 and previously in 413. Both were clean, spacious and we had no issues. Staff - possibly the best feature of the hotel. Yes, there are some that are possibly are in the wrong job BUT the vast majority are lovely and couldn't be more welcoming. Special shout out to (and apologies for those I've missed) Analis, Shem, Jamar, Richard, Robert, Alicia, Arianna, Samantha, Beverly and the lady manager at Drifters who didn't have a name badge. Plus the lovely lady who made my 3 poached eggs each morning with a smile on her face ! Food - we were all inclusive. Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from. Lunch and dinner were often buffet style and changed from Drifter and Rachel's. If you're here for any longer than say a week it might get a bit repatative but then most places are like that. But we never went hungry which says it all really. Location - great location on the beach and within walking distance to Pebbles beach to see the horses and also Carlisle beach. On the main road so easy to get the bus to Lawrence Gap, Oistins, Bridgetown, Holetown etc. However, because of the layout of the hotel no rooms are effected by traffic noise which is a definite plus. Only issue this time was the South coast beaches are affected by a lot of seaweed which was not there last time we came in December. That said, that's Mother nature for you and not a lot you can do really. To help with this the hotel puts on a free shuttle bus to a beach club on the West coast, only about 10 minutes away, where the beach is gorgeous and you get beds, an umbrella and $20 BDS each to spend. It leaves at 10am and they bring you back at 3pm and it's a great day out and if you don't fancy getting a local bus it's a good way to see another part if the island. A few other suggestions - do a catamaran if you can. We did Cool Runnings and it was great BUT make sure you slap lots of factor 50 on ! Also look up Ted's Tours which is excellent. Finally, get to early on morning and walk over to Pebbles beach to wash the horses from the Garrison and say hi to Nola from the pop up coffee stand on the beach - and if you're lucky enough to go when there's a race day on it's about a 2 minute walk from the hotel so make the most of it and get across and have a bet. Anyway I hope that's been useful, we're already looking into a 3rd visit so enough said really 🙂

The resort was nice - some parts of the room were a tad outdated but nothing drastic. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. The room had a good AC which was very helpful during humid times of the day. The views are gorgeous and the beach was nice and walkable. The staff was pretty friendly, but occasionally they lacked situational awareness and seemed stressed during high traffic periods for meal times. For the most part, everyone was lovely and always willing to help whether it be with my luggage or calling me a taxi. A few major cons about my visit: 1) if you miss lunch due to excursions scheduled in the mornings, you’re gonna be STARVING until dinner. After lunch, they only have a small tea hour from 4-5 until the staff start preparing for dinner around 6/6:30. The tea hour is just tea, coffee, and tiny food that you would feed children. They did not have any bar snacks or small bites around the clock for those who missed meal times. Meal times are very restricted so plan accordingly. The breakfast was suitable and good quality. The buffet during dinner time is awful - the food is tasteless and very lacking. For the all inclusive price, the buffet meal options were very underwhelming. The drinks are very good though. I would recommend booking all of your dinner reservations for rachel’s or the asian kitchen when you arrive because they are both very yummy for dinner but can get booked up quickly. 2) There are no elevators, and the resort has A LOT of stairs so get ready to climb. If you have mobility issues, stay somewhere else. 3) The pool closes very early around 6:30pm which is really wild to me. For the price I paid, I would have loved to catch a night swim. 4) They are really stingy with washcloths. You will have to request them daily because when they clean the room they only leave body and face towels. No wash clothes. They have black writing on them so I assume it because they may turn up missing a lot. 5) They only give you two bottles of water in the room when you arrive, after that you’re on your own. Once the bar closes, there isn’t any way to get fresh water until everything opens up again. I called the front desk for water and they claimed no one was available to bring any. Again for the price I paid, bottles of water seem very basic. Other than that, everything else was peaceful. I loved how private and spacious the balcony was. I got some in reading and relaxation time which was nice. My experience was okay overall, but I would probably stay somewhere else next time.
