⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review for Leydi & Juan at Gourmex – Sandos Mexican Resort During our visit to Gourmex at the Sandos Mexican Resort, we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Leydi, with wonderful support from Juan, and together they created one of the most memorable dining experiences of our entire vacation. From the moment we arrived, Leydi’s warm smile and Juan’s friendly presence made us feel instantly welcome. Their teamwork was seamless, and the genuine hospitality they showed made us feel like truly valued guests. Throughout the evening, both Leydi and Juan were incredibly attentive. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, checked in on us at the perfect moments, and made thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. Their knowledge of the menu, enthusiasm for the dishes, and clear pride in their work added so much to our experience. What stood out most was how personal and effortless they made the service feel. Leydi remembered our preferences, and Juan complemented the experience with excellent attention and warmth. Together, they created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that elevated our dinner from simply enjoyable to truly exceptional. If you’re dining at Gourmex, you will be incredibly lucky to have Leydi and Juan taking care of you. They’re the kind of team that turns a vacation meal into a highlight you’ll remember long after you leave. Highly recommended — a genuine five-star experience!

I had breakfast at Gaucho and our server Luna was amazing. The service she provided was superb and the food was decent. I don't usually do a full review based on a single service but she made our breakfast amazing. She was funny, attentive and on top of it without being annoying. As a whole the resort is good. Is it great? No, but they don't claim to be a 5 star luxury resort either. You can find luxury accommodations in the Platinum tower but for the most part the resort is a solid 4. You will get lost the first day or so because it is so huge but you'll quickly get your bearings. Give it a try, it's worth a week to enjoy one of the best beaches in Playacar.

We recommended it to all of our family members and friends who are here for wedding. I am the Pastor officiating so if I’m happy the ceremony will go short and sweet. We had such an amazing time at this resort!!! Specifically the food at restaurant Chayitia (the Mexican spot beside the cupcake café) was our FAVORITE part of the trip by far. We would come Here twice a day, food was honestly better here than the buffet! Fresh, so much flavour, and so authentic. The best tacos ever. The best part about the restaurant though was the staff. Yamilet and chef Lalo and Lulú were such sweethearts and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of every time we came in. They were so attentive, friendly, and helpful. Everything was great- really recommend this spot.

I recently returned from my second visit to Sandos Playacar, and it was just as exceptional as the first. I was accompanied by three friends, and we all had an amazing time. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and every aspect of our stay was perfect. The staff's dedication to maintaining the resort is genuinely impressive. I would rate our experience a perfect 10/10. The comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning, and friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The food quality was impressive, especially considering the all-inclusive nature of our stay. We appreciated the convenience of not needing reservations at the restaurants and the daily cleaning of the beach, which made it perfect for swimming. We opted for the adult-only select area, which we greatly enjoyed. Overall, this hotel is exceptional, and I highly recommend it.
