Restaurante Chayita had the best food on the resort! We were there twice a day everyday, surpassed the buffet for sure! Yamilet’s service was splendid! She is super sweet and friendly, definitely made it a pleasure coming here everyday and was excited to see us every time we returned. However, one of the chefs, Roger I believe, started denying us service on our last day and we have no idea why. We came everyday, had a smile on our faces, and were super respectful. Our last meal before we left, we went up for more food and he just told us no. If you see Roger with the tall chef hat, he is definitely a mood killer. Other than him, the place was perfect.

We had such an amazing time at this resort!!! Specifically the food at restaurant Chayitia (the Mexican spot beside the cupcake café) was our FAVORITE part of the trip by far. We would come Here twice a day, food was honestly better here than the buffet! Fresh, so much flavour, and so authentic. The best tacos ever. The best part about the restaurant though was the staff. Yamilet and chef Lalo and Lulú were such sweethearts and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of every time we came in. They were so attentive, friendly, and helpful. Everything was great- really recommend this spot.

The Wedding of Our Dreams! We got married at this incredible hotel, and it was truly was an amazing experience. Our wedding coordinator, Araly, went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was flawless. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our celebration special. We were able to enjoy our wedding day and not worry about anything. It was everything we dreamed of and more! We’ll cherish the memories forever and can’t wait to come back to this resort again. ⭐️ Excellent Service and Delicious Mexican Flavors at Restaurante Chayita!!! During our stay at Sandos Playacar, we stopped by Restaurante Chayita for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh, flavorful, and authentic the food was. It’s the perfect spot for a fast, tasty Mexican meal — everything from the tacos to the salsas tasted freshly made and full of flavor. What truly made our visit stand out, though, was the exceptional service. Yamilet was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed with a warm smile. Chef Lalo and Lulú went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect — their attention to detail and passion for what they do really shone through. It’s rare to find such great service paired with quality food in a resort setting, but Chayita absolutely delivers both. Highly recommend stopping by for an authentic Mexican experience with a personal touch! 🌮👏

The pool party was fantastic. All the entertainment squad were a blast. July is the a very high energy influence, it was fantastic. April was a great announcer, got the people going and did her best to involve even those who were shy. Yessi was great demonstrator, she nailed the moves and seemed to have fun doing it. The Mexican restaurant is superb. I absolutely love the freshly made guac, the tacos all of it. It's probably my favorite a la carte throughout the entire resort.
