The "hotel" facilities are the nicest of all of the Sandals that we have stayed. The daily snorkeling to the sunken tugboat provides a view of lots of varieties of fish and the water is very clear. Loved it all. The beach, while not directly on the ocean is only a few yards away and well maintained in the inlet. The employees are great. Management is around a lot and we had great conversations with the hotel manager and grounds manager. Fascinating discussions about the pristine grounds including bringing in palm trees from Egypt. These interactions add so much to a trip. Even the rank and file employees are great as Sandals has brought in some great people from their resorts in Jamaica and the "local" employees are wonderful as well. We even developed a bond with our room attendant Barbara who was full of personality and kept our room as clean as the pristine grounds. We were so please with our stay that we booked another stay next year and plan on going into the city nearby. The city looks like a small Dutch city and is clean, safe and has a number of restaurants that we may try on the next trip. Thank you Sandals for entering Curacao!

Had a very relaxing, wonderful vacation where our butlers, Abril, Brenden and Chris attended our needs and requests. Beautiful resort, amazing pools, great food options, enjoyed the entertainment and our nightly ice cream dessert. We will return to this amazing resort.
We had only one issue, no bathroom facilities inside or near some of the restaurants. One had to walk a long distance and/or walk up several flight of stairs to locate one!

We really had the time of our lives. We experienced a slight issue with our room but Lennus- the Guest Experience Manager was so helpful, friendly and really made us feel like family. He went above and beyond to fix the issue and always had a smile. George - the Director of Operations was also so kind and helpful. Thank you both as you were part of our amazing vacation. We can't wait to come back and to visit another Sandals in the future. The food and atmosphere were perfect. We were a little disappointed that Butch's restaurant was fully booked every day we were there and were not able to experience it. Also the night time entertainment area has a large unused box next to the big DJ booth that both are in the way of people's view of the show. If the box and the DJ booth can be moved way to the side it would allow the crowd to better view the entertainment.

First, I have been to other Sandal locations and they are far better than the Curacao resort. This resort could be struggling with staffing issues. However, why I will not return to Sandals Curacao… we daily either had issues with our room service or issues with our room. After 3 days of calling the concierge desk and nothing being corrected I went to a manager. I discussed the issues with our room. She said, she would handle and follow up with me during our stay. .Some of the issues were immediately handled. However, after that day the service went back done hill and she never followed back with me. At 1100 per night, I expect simple items such as coffee cups, bar glasses and in room bar items to be done. These were over looked day after day. The pool bar service was slow and the day entertainment and activities were little to none. As for the restaurants, the food was good in all of them. The problem, most of all are not open during the day. I will say, the buffet restaurant which served all 3 meals was good. Make sure you book your reservation weeks prior to your arrival for the two exclusive restaurant. We required a manager to just get into one (Vincent ). The included wine selection “twin oaks” is horrible. Please upgrade your all inclusive wine! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and staff are very friendly. Its room service and room attention which is suffering. The snorkeling was a few feet from the resort
and not all that spectacular other than the coral. The checkout process is so outdated. My husband waited 20 minutes in a line. Not sure why you put a $400 hold on your guest credit card at the beginning and then you make them wait in a long line to turn in keys/settle an account. Most luxury resorts provide additional charges under your door the morning of and if not disputing, leave the keys in the room and head to the bus.

Our honeymoon at Sandals Royal Curaçao was a wonderful experience. The resort offered a variety of dining options, and we particularly enjoyed the French and Latin restaurants. The cafe was a great spot for iced coffee and pastries, and we appreciated the ice cream at night.
The pool area was relaxing, and we spent a lot of time at the two-level infinity pool, which offered beautiful views. The beach was clean and calm, perfect for swimming and long walks. We also took part in some of the excursions offered by the resort, including an ATV tour and a visit to a bat cave.
While some amenities could be more modern and some of the food service could have been faster, we were overall satisfied with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, fixing a problem with our fridge promptly and one of our mistakes with the door.
Our 10-day stay left us feeling refreshed, and we have some great memories to cherish. Sandals Royal Curaçao provided a relaxing and enjoyable environment for our honeymoon, and we would consider returning in the future.
