We have been to this resort 3 times and will keep coming back. We always feel so welcomed and have never had a ad experience. The resort staff are the kindest and sweetest ever. We always feel like family when we stay. They take time to actually chat and get to know you. It's by far our favorite resort.

If you want terrible service with an attitude 80% of the time, hearing loud planes all day, want to holiday on a building site, then this is the place to go… not to mention the staff butler tell you shrug it off and get on with it when you say something. At least they keep you waiting 2-3 hours answer your call/call you back.
The butler service on the first day was all about standing us up, ignoring us, then being rude down the phone and then when we brought it up to a manager she rang him back and got through…he was ignoring her while talking to someone else! Very poor service. Chad who was our butler replacement was good though, not sure if he went above and beyond due to our first 24hours being so bad.
The resort is covered in dust due to the construction work. Clothes in our room were dusty, couldn’t sit anywhere or grab a rail as you were covered in dust. If you put sunscreen on, with 30 minutes your skin felt gritty due to the dust. It was so visually hazy some days I questioned my eyesight! I just wish they gave some construction masks at the front to get half a breath of fresh air…
Getting offered downgrades when you complain about the room being insanely dusty instead of like for like rooms or upgrades added salt to the wound too.
Food isn’t great, it’s definitely not bad but could be a lot better.

Needless to say, it didn’t feel like a luxurious vacation and definitely not white glove service. Never hopped in a car service/plane so fast to go home!

Great, low-key resort! We stayed at the Sandals Montego Bay a few years ago and this one is great as well. The beach access is fairly small, but the room was recently renovated and very comfortable. We received a complimentary upgrade at check in with was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed the food here. Bombay was very authentic and tasty Indian. Thai on the resort island was very good as well. The breakfast buffet had good variety with some local choices. Don't miss out on lunch at the jerk shack on the resort island. Get the fish in the foil! Otherwise a great getaway. The pools were very clean and well kept. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a quiet and relaxing resort with about 50/50 between older couples and younger couples. Multiple pools to choose from which is nice. The food is pretty good. the steak quality needs improvement. We were warned by a group not to get the steak at the French restaurant. The drinks are good. Bed is comfy. Have not gotten our rooms cleaned since we’ve been here despite us requesting it and leaving our green light on. I specially requested the honeymoon offerings which we did not receive when we arrived. I spoke with a staff member about it and we had the champagne and breakfast card delivered that night. The staff are great, there can be long waits waiting to be served at some restaurants. The Thai restaurant is our favorite so far and the food arrived super fast and was delicious. The spring rolls at the Thai restaurant and Spices are phenomenal. The resort is 10 minutes from the airport which is nice, but there are loud plane takeoffs about every 5 minutes which can be annoying. If you are looking for quiet and secluded this resort is for you. If you are looking for a younger crowd and fun atmosphere I would venture elsewhere. Overall, the resort is nice but there are definitely some cons.

The resort people are fantastic. Attentive to details. The room was in perfect condition. The beach and pools are great. The bar and drinks perfect. The food was not to what I’m use to getting in Jamaica. One of the meal we ordered was a steak and it was not eatable. The French restaurant La Jardiniere was appealing until we got our meal with cold mash potatoes. We had one of the last sittings at 9pm. No reason if you accept to sit us to get food from the kitchen that is sub par because the chef shut his oven, stove top off before we got served. All in all, being a new member of sandals I will give it another try at another facility in Jan 2025. Hopefully the food will be better.
