When we arrived we were sat down by Shane, who informed us that the room I booked was under maintenance and would not be available. I was assured that every effort was made to accommodate us as near as the original reservation as possible. Looking back I can understand that the thought may have been more about location than the room itself. However, the room was not what I was wanting for this vacation stay. I went back to Shane and thanked him for the effort but explained that it was not as I expected. He was so nice and simply asked me what exactly I was looking for. Once I described my vision and the need for a more quiet location, he asked us to give him a little time and he would see what he could do.
He later found us touring the property. He explained that this room was not exactly as I described, but it would be quiet and if we would like he could have our things moved for the night, but he would continue working on the room I described. The room was beautiful and we took him up on his offer. The next day he showed us to a room on the ground floor with the swim up patio just as I requested. We were very pleased.
I very much appreciate the effort that Shane made, and most importantly the kindness and professionalism he showed in meeting our expectations.
All of the staff at the resort are very pleasant and professional and very much enrich the experience of the resort stay.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about all the staff at the Sandals Royal Caribbean!! I just got home from my week long stay with my boyfriend and 6 other family members, and we had the most amazing time. The staff was always kind, always making us laugh, and were all so accommodating. We were on the resort when Hurricane Beryl hit the island, and we always felt safe. The manager had meetings every few hours the day before and the day of the hurricane to give us constant updates of what they were doing behind the scenes, and what we could expect. During the hurricane, the staff at the resort went door to door delivering us all dinner. Not just some little sandwiches, they were delivering us all hot food, and plenty of it. The day after the storm, I didn't expect to do much honestly, but the workers were right at work early in the morning getting everything cleaned up and running so people could still fully enjoy their stay. We were in our pool by noon the day after a category 4 hurricane! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was still enjoyable. The manager was awesome, and kept everyone's spirits lifted even during it all. The entertainment team was a great group of people, always making sure everyone was having a good time. There's also a lot of super friendly island kitties on this resort that made me feel a little less home sick!!

We had a great time despite being there during the hurricane. They moved us to a swim-up room, and we loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had great service at the bar by the pool. During the hurricane, they brought us food to our room and checked on us. We were only without power for 1.5 hours while they refueled the generator. My only service complaint was at the main pool where if you weren't loud and obnoxious, you didn't get service. This was also evident at the one other bar right off the main pool. The only other less than stellar service was at the French restaurant with our waitress. They seated everyone at once, and she didn't handle the load well at all. The food was great, but the service was not. The location is great for the airport. Quick 15-minute ride to the resort. I would go back again. We never once felt unsafe during the hurricane. They took great care of us.

Just fantastic! This marked my best vacation and at 47, I've been to plenty. They have done an excellent job creating an experience. It's like a cruise on land. I cannot think of anything they could've done better. I know nothing is perfect so let's say 99.9%
I believe we had the best room which was a plus but anything from service, people, food and everything made it an unforgettable vacation so much that we booked our next one while there. One great option is you get to take the shuttle to the neighbor Sandals, Mantigo Bay, (10 min away) and expand your Sandals experience and enjoy what they offer in case you want to try something different.
Best part, Sandals is adults only! So you can have a true relaxing time.

Very disappointing. Half the resort was under construction. Food was not amazing. W kept asking for premium liquor and would constantly be served bottom shelf cause they thought w weren't paying attention. My husband got sick the night before we left, possible food poisoning and then I got sick shortly after. Will never go back to sandals again if this wasn't already book for our honeymoon. The Sandals brand is associated with to service and class, but that's just not the case. Very disappointed. Not ideal for your honeymoon. Could have went to so many other incredible places for half the price. What a ripped off!
