    I didn’t know what my expectations were until they weren’t met. Second time at Sandals in Jamaica. We booked a butler suite to enjoy the full “Sandals” experience. On our first day our butler sent us on a hunt for food after we arrived (we observed others butlers bring them food from the same locations) and we couldn’t find our butler at dinner or any time after. On the second day we asked to be set up by the pool after lunch and our butler said she would be returning to take our lunch and tell us where we were seated at the pool. She never returned and when we called a few hours later she was gone. Our second butler was much better and booked us dinner, helped us get drinks, was much more attentive. Our second butler picked a great spot by the pool for us. Truly shined in comparison to our first butler. We noticed that the entire resort seemed to shut down for a wedding on Sunday night even room service stopped answering the phone when we called at 8:00. No one ever communicated if the hours were different that day than what they originally told us. Twice we had to ask for our hand towels and face cloths to be replenished as they turned down the room and took our used towels but never replaced them.

    The service was amazing all around. The people are so welcoming on and off the resort. This was our honeymoon trip. First time out of the country and fit time at an all inclusive resort! 1,000% recommended!!!! The private island is only reachable from he royal resort, but there are short bus rides to and from Montego Bay resort and royal resort so you can try all the restaurants!!!!! We love Jamaica Maannn

    We had such a great time celebrating our honeymoon at Dandals Royal Caribbean! Our butlers Jerome and Sherry Ann went above and beyond to help celebrate and make our stay special. Additionally, all the staff we encountered was very friendly and accommodating. We had delicious dinners at Spice and Bombay and loved the breakfast options at both the buffet and room service menu. The resort was very clean and we felt safe while there. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary!

    We spent 9 days here and it was the most wonderful place we have ever been! The staff was so friendly from top to bottom. We got married there and everything went perfectly! The wedding planning staff, photographers, the pastor, the location, everything was perfect. Our butlers Andre (Jack) and Shana made our stay the best it could be. They anticipated everything we needed and facilitated everything we wanted. The resort is beautiful, our room was exactly as it was supposed to be. Super clean resort, the most exquisite foods, etc. I can not say enough about how great it was. We already booked for next year for our anniversary and will be trying other Sandals throughout the years.

    Two of my family members were given day passes by a senior member of the company so they could relax and enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The staff interactions left a bitter impression, and there was no designated storage area, so they had to carry their bags around the entire time which made it difficult to truly unwind. Toward the end of their visit, they hoped to have dinner before leaving, but were told they would need to finish and leave within 30 minutes. Overall, the experience fell short of what was promised.
