As a vacation it's nice to get away. Our room was in a "cottage" room itself was dated but when you're away, you won't spend much time inside it. We requested for ice and some beverages one night to our room and it took 3 days to arrive. Some of the employees were simply their to do their tasks and nothing more. We felt like an inconvenience sometimes when asking for something. For people with allergies the culinary teams are very accommodating and will meet with you and make sure you are comfortable and well fed. We had an issue with one supper where we didn't order a dessert and our waiter brought food out, we were a little confused and asked what we were given and the waiter replied with "I don't know but it checked all of your allergy boxes." which doesn't invoke much confidence. We asked for the chef for further clarification as to what we were given and once they came out they immediately ask "You didn't est any of that did you?" which no we hadn't "That cake is loaded with almonds." Thank you to chef Herman and Chef Paul for making dining wonderful.
Music in the restaurants are very repetitive. One meal you will hear the same song at least 3 times.

We have been to Sandals Ochi, twice so far in 2024. Both experiences have been excellent. I would especially like to thank Bancroft Roberts and Reynaldo in the Dive Shop! Great people and have been very helpful to us in obtaining out Elite Diver Status with Sandals. First trip we stayed up on the hill, and the Second was down by the beach. Both locations have their benefits. We will be back!

It was an okay trip just average. Just a lot of small things over and over and over. Started off with stop and Dunn's River to drop off guest and they got singing and hot towels and when we showed up we got proceed to the front desk and then have a seat we'll be with you. One of Butlers was great she keep the fridge full of the NA beer I requested so it was cold while the other one proceed to show up with it to be like here I brought your beer but great buddy it's warm if you would have put it in the fridge when I asked for it while we were gone for the day I could of had cold beer before we went to dinner. Dinner was okay but they kept giving us a table with a light out so it was hard to see the menu. The 10 servers we had for lunches and dinners we had 2 that seemed like they didn't want to be there and one was in the French restaurant. We were always able to get chairs and the beech or the pool so that was good but the specialty drinks my wife said were watered down. The resort feels big because it is broken up into 2 sections hillside and beech side and you have to take a little bus which we never had to wait to long for. The food was average to good but not great. One of our deserts at the French rest. was still frozen. We went in with and open mind and not knowing what to expect. Did we need a butler probably not but they were helpful.. Will we go back to Ochi probably not on the next trip but we will give Sandals another shot but we know there are other options out there too.

We just came back from our 7 day vacation. This resort has some age but I actually like the taste its traditional settings like the layout of all the rooms and amenities. The food was nice as usual as other Sandals, the people over there are very nice and always trying to make sure you are doing well.

We had an absolute blast at our stay at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort. We were treated like royalty for our honeymoon and were blown away by how beautiful the property was. We didn't want to leave! The food was amazing, and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. There is so much to do on the resort and it is very spread out so you don't even feel like you need to go off the resort.
We would like to give a special shout out to Anthony the bartender at Miss Ethel's Piano Bar along with the piano man who hosted karaoke- we had an absolute blast there, it was probably our most fun night out! Also Delano our waiter at Valentino's, and Sydony our waitress at Vista were phenomenal! Martin kept the drinks flowing at the Manor Pool Bar, and Neil and Sheldon were so attentive and amazing at our beach cabana. I highly recommend a massage with Taylor and Christopher at the Red Lane Spa. And of course, our butlers, Omar and Samuel were top notch!! Everyone helped make our honeymoon so special, and it was one of the best trips I've been on. We cannot wait to return to Sandals and have already booked our next trip!
