I will start with negative. Humidity is off the charts. Beds could be softer. Need more trash cans setup. Now positives. Entertainment was off the charts. One name we remember is Super Mario he was incredible. Made you feel welcome and appreciated. To the gal that did omelettes she called me Santa Clause she was great. To the lady that did the pastry, coffee shop she was great. All front desk ladies very helpful. Candle light dinner for our 50th anniversary was memorable. Blue Mountain Coffee on my can’t say enough.

Sandals Montego Bay is the flagship location, and they pride themselves on service! We traveled for our honeymoon and had THE BEST butlers (Dane and O'Shane). These guys communicate and stay on top of things you like. Upon arrival, you're greeted with a smile and they bring you drinks and food when you don't even realize you want it! Though the rooms are dated, the views were spectacular. Everyone we encountered, regardless of their station, were pleasant and ready to chat! When you come with cool vibes, you get cool vibes back! It was a perfect vacation, and we will 'soon come back'! If I could offer one major warning -that would be to bring ALL essentials including Pepto Bismol, cough drops, etc.

We went for a honeymoon last week and it was amazing and beautiful. We loved our room and it was always well taken care of. We were a little lost being that it was our first sandals so there was an intimidation factor and us looking for help. People were helpful for the most part. There were times that service was slow, which I can understand being a lot of people around. We had a time where we were not served at all or waited on and we had to have customer service involved. There were times where the bartenders were indifferent. When we wanted to do water sports we got made fun of for not knowing what to do. We think that it’s Jamaican culture and they’re sarcastic because we weren’t super off putting or awkward. We think they may be just sick of tourists lol. But we still made it fun! None of that ruined our trip. We love how close it is to the airport but we get that people may get sick of the airplane noise. We did book again for next year so it was definitely worthy. We loved our room as well with a view

We just finished another amazing week at Sandals Montego Bay! As always, it was a great time and I can’t wait to go back. No complaints at all, services, food, rooms were all on point this trip. Our butler Orain and Aaron were phenomenal and it was like coming back home. Can’t wait to see them again and all of the staff at MoBay. We loved the new option of Butch’s breakfast, seemed like a well kept secret but we went nearly every day. The staff there made our morning every morning! Couldn’t have started the days better. Everything from the time we got to the sandals check in lounge to the time they dropped us back at the airport ran smoothly and efficiently. Can’t recommend this resort enough!

Very nice resort. The resort is kept very clean. Rooms need to be updated but are clean. Pools could be much much bigger. I was disappointed in the size of the pools. Food was good. But was missing authentic Jamaican cuisine. But we enjoyed the different choices for each night to choose from. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Our butler Stevan was Thee best and helped with a pretty scary situation when I got bit by a bug while sleeping in my room the very first night and had an allergic reaction to it. They have a 24hr nurse station at the resort. They have the ability to call a Dr in and he arrived very quickly. It turned out to be a very expensive Dr visit but it was needed treatment unfortunately for me. I appreciate everyone who treated me with such concern and patience. I will say that the bug bit me in our room and we killed a couple of other bugs in our room. But did ask for our sheets to be change and room to be sprayed which our butler made sure it was taken care of. So dealing with that issue was disappointing considering this resort is not cheap. Our other butler Marvin was also wonderful. Overall we had a wonderful trip and had fun.
