We’re so glad we chose to stay at this hotel! It has a stylish design and beautiful rooms that are Instagram perfect. I loved the fresh scent in the room, the shampoo and shower gel smelled amazing too, really good quality products. The food was tasty and healthy, and I really liked that it was à la carte instead of a buffet. I’d definitely recommend choosing the half-board option because the food is excellent! The hotel also offers lots of fun activities, I especially enjoyed the art paintings and the glass boat trip. Just a friendly warning — the birds might try to steal your food right in front of you! 😄

We spent 10 days at Salt of Palmar and were very satisfied and happy. The room was fantastic with a sea view, and the rooms were always spotlessly clean and tidy. The hotel is also great. It has everything you need and is right on the beach. It also has a gym and offers various activities. The food is also excellent. Perhaps it would be good to vary the menu a little, as at some point we didn't know what to eat anymore... but the food was always excellent and of great quality. The staff are also very friendly. Occasionally, a few mistakes were made by the waiters, but it wasn't a big deal. The hotel complex is also great. Rishi was very friendly and courteous and always helped us book various excursions or when we needed a taxi. Thank you again. A big thank you also to the waiters Dev and Rish. They were always very helpful and friendly and we always received excellent service when eating. We would definitely come back if we were to return to Mauritius. Thank you all for a wonderful time!

The visit to this incredible modern hotel is a once in a life time, our time here was lovely, fun and relaxing. The rooms was impeccable - cosy, perfect size, extremely comfy bed, modern minimalist, amazing views of the sea! the shower big and spacious, separate toilet. our room was on the windy, the nights would sometimes get a bit nippy but that was no issue as you have aircon, ofcourse no tv, no fridge in the room which we absolutely loved. The hotel it self had a gym, morning yoga, kayaking, snorkeling, fish watching, and many more activities. The staff, some do not speak the best English does make it a little hard to communicate with, i think they are quiet used to rude guests which I've heard myself, ones who cant squeeze a please or a thankyou out never mind a smile or a laugh, but all staff always made effort to be welcoming, helpful and say hi! My favourite was Kanak really lovely, she really went out her way day in day out, she worked hard, she was non stop, she would think ahead and always make sure everything is okey, she should definitely be recognised for this and hopefully progressed as the management would be silly not too!, over staff who also stood out to myself was: Rishi, Navin and Aryan. Some thing in the eco hotel did not add up as there was customers vaping by the pool, this male was vaping his whole stay, no one said a thing even tho it's not allowed and illegal in mauritius!,( I mean why even bother booking a eco hotel and not respecting the country? mental, i wish the management would of told him tho, this goes for the amount of customers who would smoke cigarettes and throw the buds in the bushes next to the beach, absolutely vile behaviour) also towels was not monitored at all, people would leave there stuff for hours on end, unfortunately the selfishness of people wasint great, as sun beds are limited! The hotel does not feeding dogs and shoos them away, it's quiet sad as for me animals are better than people it's be nice to see kindness from such a amazing hotel to give back and maybe invest in a better life for the animals of the island! Half way through the visit the service from staff became very slow, we would be waiting for a while on things the table next to us would be getting straight away, we'd have to ask for things like menus and bread board which again tables around us would be getting before/ without asking or first, the manager did apologise for this and the service picked up, ofcourse we understood that there maybe teething problems with staff, busy periods and other things that may occur. The chefs was lovely, welcoming, friendly and always chatted and asked how everything is, absolutely amazing 👏🏽 Chefs came out on Friday night to apologise for the slow process of the night, which was a really lovely gesture from them, as they really did not need to,! their food is absolutely incredible everysingle time, especially the buddha bowl with chicken 🙌🏼 the best dish i will forever think about it! I think maybe the hotel gets too booked up as most nights we couldn't even find a table to eat at we had to wait for someone to finally get up and move, as they'd just sit at their tables for hours after eating, which we understand but ofcourse we was hungry too, maybe less guesses and focusing on customer satisfaction levels would be something to look into. While checking out (11am but we was packed and out the room for 10am) we asked for a break down of the recipients as some seemed a bit high (go all inclusive as the prices in hotel are sky high) these did not get to us till 16:50 that same day 😳! hotel has a wash and get ready room which is great because when you have to wait about 4/5 hours for transfer you definitely need a shower and get changed, it's a beautiful vast bathroom with everything anyone could need and want. would I recommend? if you're a person who wants to sit and do absolutely nothing or next to nothing this hotel is for you, not a lot going on, quiet, peaceful but thinking of my friends and family I know some would get bored and very quicky!

I stayed in two other resorts in Mauritius before, and this was my third stay. Here is a summary of my experience: The place is cozy, not too big, with a friendly and welcoming team that makes you feel comfortable right away. Positives: 1. Food quality: Out of all the resorts I tried, the food here was by far the best. Truly delicious and deserves special recognition. 2. Value for money: I stayed 3 nights on full board for around $850, which I found very fair for the quality provided. 3. Resort app: The dedicated mobile app was very useful to check menus and activities. 4. Water activities: Unlike other resorts where you have to book 2–3 days in advance, here it was very easy. I even had a boat trip with just two other people, which made it feel private and not crowded. 5. Staff: Extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. Special thanks to the management for their care. Suggestions for improvement (not essential but nice to have): 1. Adding pictures of the dishes to the menus. 2. Introducing some light evening entertainment, such as live music or simple performances, to create a more vibrant night atmosphere. Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations, and I truly recommend it. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.

We’re only three days into our stay at Salt of Palmar and already loving the break. The hotel is beautiful, but what really makes it special is the staff — especially in the restaurant. Everyone has been so accommodating and genuinely friendly. A special thank you to Vish for the delicious masala chai, Med for the attentive service at dinner, and the rest of the team for making us feel so welcome. We’ve even spoken with Shiva, the executive chef, and are really looking forward to trying his parathas tomorrow morning! The weather hasn’t been the best, but that’s out of anyone’s control and certainly doesn’t take away from the experience here. Overall, it’s been a wonderful stay so far and we can’t wait to enjoy the rest of our time. Highly recommended!
