What more can I say? This is literally the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff, the environment, the food, and the attention to detail—I honestly couldn't compliment it more!
I was a bit skeptical about a golf resort, thinking I would get really bored, but oh my gosh, what a lovely place.
As a well-traveled person, please ignore any 1-star reviews because they are nonsense.
The food is buffet style and of really good quality. Because of the themes, you are naturally going to love some days more than others, but there is always something for everyone. We did the half board and chose to explore for lunch.
All the staff were amazing, but I have to give a special shout-out to Alejandro! Such an attentive, funny young man. He made dinner a blast, and we often looked for him when we went to dinner.
The small activities like beginners' golf are reasonably priced and also just fun to meet people.
The rooms are well-sized with some quirky features like a window to see the view while you shower.
There are so many pools, with my favorite being the rooftop infinity pool that looks out onto the mountains and the sea.
The spa is really nice and special, with an infinity-type pool looking onto the golf courses.
Overall, this is certainly an amazing hotel. So much so that I don’t often go back to places, but I certainly will be back here.

For the 5 star hotel, I could only rate the SPA, and the building infrastructure. Yet the rest you can rate as max 4 stars. Rooms are old, with ancient curtains with wholes in it and furniture. Air conditioner from maybe 30 years old, giving so much noise that you can't even hear each other. So loud! Food is the same every day! Fruits are not fresh sometimes. Check your bill when checking out. Truly speaking, for such level of hotel, from 5stars, you would expect more relevant offerings.

We loved this hotel. It is indeed a relaxing place, you can find a lot of spots on the property to spend your time. We loved that there were a lot of pools to choose from. The breakfast had a lot of options and everything was delicious. The staff really friendly and the rooms spacious and clean. There is a construction site nearby but we didn’t consider it a problem, we could relax nonetheless. Would definitely recommend!

Very disappointed with this hotel !
We thought it was the perfect place at the beginning, the workers were nice and the place looks great. However we firstly booked the room for 2, we asked to add someone (an adult) to the room so 3 people total, they offered use a triple deluxe room. We confirmed it before going there. When we arrived to the room there was a big bed and a very small bed like the second bed was for a child. We looked on the website and the triple deluxe is not for 3 adults but for 2 adults and 1 child ! We decided to go to the reception desk. They said to use that they do not offer 3 adults room and that they did something for us however we never knew that and we would have never booked it. They also said that Spanish people are shorter so that’s why the bed was small ! They offered to book another room but the price was very expensive. We are very upset with this inconvenience ! And no solution to resolve this problem not the expectation of a 5 star hotel ! It should have been said before. So be careful when you book there !!!!

1. No noise (12-19 July 2024). We'd received an email from jet2 warning us of potential noise. Called hotel. They said very minor, if at all. We've been to Salobre a few times before, and trust the folks there. Turns out we were right to have done so. No noise at all. Lovely, as ever. Could see the building works from the infinity pool in the spa. We usually spend most of the day on the 11th floor area, but I can't see this being an issue except very rarely.
2. Salobre is our go-to chillax place to just unwind and do absolutely nothing. Recommended by a golfing friend a few years ago, even though we don't golf we keep coming back. Spa and gym are great, views and sun areas are fantastic, food is good, staff are always very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable, modern and spotless.
