I've been to the Salmakis 4 times now and always enjoyed our stay there. First of all I would say that the initial welcome from reception is not great. They could definitely be more friendly. They are not rude, but I think they have forgotten that first impressions are important. The rooms I have stayed in are all nice, especially the sea view rooms. They have a snack bar and a restaurant both of which are really nice. The main restaurant has amazing salads, but not too impressed with the fish or the meats, which were mainly turkey. But the vegetarian food was so good I was never short of a really tasty meal. Some of the waiters, especially the ones who have been there a few years only seem to serve single women. If you are a couple or a man they cant see you! The snack bar does nice turkish pizza and more basic salad and chips, but very good. The bar staff are all friendly but if you want a nice cocktail ask one of the older more experienced bar tenders. If you eat at the main restaurant you have great views out to see and also by the beach snack bar. The entertainment at night is ok, but its too loud and if you fancy an early night so you can get up just after sunrise forget it as the music is so loud until late. I think if they turned the music down or off after 11pm that would make it a lot easier to get to sleep. In the day time its beautifully peaceful on the beach and relaxed music which is not too loud by the pool. All in all a great place to spend time and its easy to get a txi boat to Bodrum from very near the hotel or walk in about 15 mins. I will go back again. I hope they see my comments and improve slightly to make it 5 star.

Do not stay here. This resort was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. The staff was consistently rude, unhelpful, and made us feel like we were a burden whenever we raised legitimate concerns. The room was hot, the AC did not work, and overall cleanliness was poor. For a place claiming to be a “5-star resort,” the conditions were unacceptable. The shower wasn’t working when we arrived, and instead of addressing the issue quickly, staff treated it like it was our fault. When we asked about dining options, they insisted there were none outside the hotel—which was untrue. We walked less than five minutes and found a fantastic restaurant just up the hill. The entire hotel felt dark, outdated, and uninviting. The pool was dirty, with floating pads and even bandages, which was extremely concerning. Despite leaving after only 10 hours, we were refused any kind of refund. The glowing reviews here are very misleading, and I wish I had paid closer attention to more recent ones. Save yourself the disappointment and stay elsewhere.

Some people prefer to nit pick and focus on the negative points, I prefer to focus on the amazing location, extremely friendly and helpful staff from whom the UK service industry could learn so much . Food is plentiful and fresh with variety. It's a huge resort with beautiful flower beds and impressive vaulted ceilings in the main building. Some say it's dated. I can see that point of view but it's got some character with traditional Turkish style and beautiful paintings on the ceilings. Walking distance to Bodrum center plus water taxi for £3 Great experience, nice pool

Great vibe! Great atmosphere! My mom enjoyed the Yoga classes so much! Fantastic entertainment team and very friendly people! I recommend this place with the all inclusive bracelet! Worth every penny.

It was my first time in Bodrum and first time in this hotel , honestly me and my mom we did enjoy so much staying in this property, delicious food , good entertainment, like karaoke night , dance show , pool party with foam and amazing view . They are so professional when it comes to costumer experience, as if you have any concerns they will do their best and solve it immediately . Cleaning was impeccable, everywhere in the hotel and the housekeeping will clean the room every day . We enjoyed so much the spa , as it has jacuzzi, sauna , steam room .It was our best and unforgettable experience trying Turkish bath , thanks to the ladies who took care of us there . Big thanks and regards to all staff and everyone who contributed to our beautiful journey in Turkey , definitely I recommend it ,and will come back soon .
