We stayed at Salini Resort in Malta as a group of 12 for five nights, including five children, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had anywhere in Europe. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel welcome, cared for, and valued. However, what truly made this stay exceptional was the outstanding restaurant team, who went far beyond what we could ever have expected. Our family follows a strict vegetarian diet with no eggs or fish, and from the very first meal the restaurant staff took this incredibly seriously. Once they understood our requirements, they personally took responsibility for making sure we were always looked after. We never once felt like an inconvenience, instead we felt genuinely cared for and prioritised. With five children in our group, this gave us enormous peace of mind and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our holiday. A very special thank you goes to Krishna, the dinner supervisor, and Sobi, our wonderful server. Both of them were always smiling, attentive, and would regularly come to check if everything was okay. They made us feel like family rather than guests, and their kindness and professionalism made every meal a pleasure. We also want to acknowledge the pastry chef, who went out of their way to prepare special vegetarian desserts just for us, carefully ensuring they contained no eggs. This thoughtful touch meant so much, especially for the children, who felt included and excited at every meal. And finally, a huge thank you to the Head Chef, who took extra care to prepare beautiful, delicious meals for us and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The food was not just suitable for our diet, it was outstanding. We have travelled extensively across Europe, but this was truly one of the nicest and most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had, and that is entirely thanks to the incredible restaurant and hospitality staff at Salini Resort. We left feeling grateful, relaxed, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.

Rooms can get cold but heating can be provided by reception, bus connections are so good and the bus stops and just outside. Amazing staff, lovely breakfast. The view is incredible.

An exceptional resort Hotel overlooking Salina Bay, with great transport connections (bus) to the rest of Malta. Can walk to St Paul's Bay in about 40-50 mins via the Salina Nature Reserve and Kennedy Park. The rooms are spacious, with balconies, en suite bathrooms and tea / coffee making tray. Guests have use of three pools (2 outdoor); Children may use one of the outdoor pools at any time, but the indoor Spa Pool must be booked in advance (no extra charge for the pool). There are 3 on site restaurants. The buffet breakfast offers a wife choice. The common areas are very well appointed, the staff attentive and friendly. This was an exceptionally good find and great value for a 4 night stay with breakfast included. We came for the October half term. Temperatures on Malta around 25 degrees. Comfortably warm. We will look forward to returning!

The hotel is extremely comfortable and elegantly designed. Guests can enjoy an infinity pool, several restaurants, and a spacious spa area. The staff are exceptionally attentive and genuinely friendly. The location is stunning: a small beach is located right next to the hotel, and both the town of Buġibba and the Salina Nature Reserve are within walking distance. The hotel’s restaurants are also highly recommended — the food served there is delicious and varied.

This is going to be a long review, but the list of problems with this hotel is extensive. 6 night stay. Firstly, the room keys are unreliable. In the first 3 days, I've had to go to reception 5 times to get keys recut. I don't know what is being sprayed around the resort, but half the time (depending on the wind) there is a putrid smell that wafts over the resort. I thought it was initially manure fertilizer being used, but it seems there is a waste disposal dump about 1200m from the resort. Type "WasteServ Malta" into google maps, and you can see it to the South East. The elevators are the slowest ever invented, and there are only 2 small ones for a big resort. So most young people just walk up and down the stairs rather than wait. The breakfast is decent, except for the fact that there are only 2 automatic coffee machines, and so you can expect to wait 10 mins to make your own coffee. The manager scolded me for not wearing shoes around the pool area,.. apparently, its bad hygeine to go barefoot around the pool. The shower in the room only has 3 sides and no shower curtain, and the shower head points directly at the missing side. So expect the floor to be covered in water after every shower. The shower drain was blocked, so the bathroom floor was flooded. This has been going on for a while judging by the peeling paint and swelling in the skirting boards. Strangely, the balcony light cannot be controlled.. they automatically go off around midnight, so expect your room to not be dark, even with the curtains closed. There is a CCTV camera 4 meters off the balcony, pointed right at our room, so privacy is only obtained by closing the curtains. They were filming something at the resort all day, and so I was stopped for 5 mins from entering the building. A minor annoyance, but it shows they don't put their guests first. The location is at least 1km away from anything. So expect to bus or rideshare to everything. So all in all, a poor hotel. I would go elsewhere.
