I stayed at the resort in November 2025 and had an amazing experience. I booked with Fanar Hotel & Residences originally but apparently there was some issue with my room. I’ve been offered a room at the Rotana instead. So what started as a rocky vacation for me ended up being a dream at the Rotana! As a solo female traveler I felt very well taken care of from the moment I arrived til the moment I left. All the staff from the reception to the restaurants to the spa have been very friendly and helpful. The room was bright, friendly and comfortable, offering everything you’d need. The hotel grounds were well kept and inviting. The beach was clean and lifeguards were there for your safety. If you have booked all inclusive you can get something delicious to eat all day long. I also like the fact that they use paper cups/plates instead of plastic. The only thing that might be missing are some benches on the property to enjoy the outdoors when you are not lounging on the beach! Oh and on top of all of that: I felt completely safe in everything I did while I was there!

The hospitality was outstanding — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always eager to assist. Their professionalism and warmth truly reflect the high standards of the Rotana brand. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and very clean, offering a relaxing space after a day of enjoying the resort. The dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of tasty dishes and high-quality service. The pools, beach access, and recreational facilities were fantastic and suitable for couples, families, and solo travelers alike. Everything was well organized and thoughtfully designed. I highly recommend Rotana Hotel Salalah to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a memorable stay. I would gladly visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Rotana Hotel in Salalah, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was always perfectly clean, which we really appreciated. Due to the humid climate, we experienced some minor discomfort at the beginning, as the air conditioning does not have a dehumidifier function. However, the staff took our feedback very seriously and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable! Their responsiveness and care made a big difference and showed genuine professionalism. We chose the Premium package, which included also a personal butler, and we cannot thank Rula enough for her outstanding support. She was incredibly kind and helpful, gave us excellent program and activity recommendations, and made our stay even more special. We are truly grateful for her attention and care. The all-inclusive service was excellent. There was a wide and high-quality selection of food and drinks available throughout the entire day — we never felt hungry. The variety was impressive: multiple restaurants are available within the hotel, and guests can also dine at restaurants in neighboring Rotana hotels. This meant we could enjoy different cuisines every evening, without ever feeling repetitive. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single team member — from reception staff to restaurant and service teams, housekeeping, gardeners, and security — was exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their warmth created a truly special atmosphere. This is a place we will definitely return to, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Rotana Salalah to anyone looking for a high-quality, relaxing, and genuinely welcoming hotel experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rotana Salalah Resort, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, caring, and welcoming. Their hospitality truly sets them apart. The rooms were impeccably clean, and we didn't encounter any issues during our stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch. But what truly made our stay exceptional were the staff members who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Rabi, who served us at breakfast, was fantastic! His warm smile and attentive service made our mornings truly special. And then there's Mohammad, the lifeguard at the pool, who was equally impressive. His professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring everyone's safety made him a standout. I couldn't fault anything about our stay at Rotana Salalah Resort. The staff's commitment to providing an exceptional experience shines through in everything they do. If you're looking for a resort that truly cares about its guests, look no further. We'll definitely be back!

A high-class hotel, located in a beautiful complex on an even more beautiful beach, where the sunsets are incredible. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks to Yasim, who looked after our room and, seeing that we were with two small children, checked daily to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. The food was excellent, including at the beachside kiosks. My suggestions, but not criticisms, are: - Drinks like tea, water, juices, and similar beverages should be available with meals in the restaurant for self-service, as this would reduce the wait staff's workload and minimize wait times. - Some pool attractions in the paddling pool would be helpful, such as a small slide or water jets. - Clothes dryers or clothes lines on the terraces and balconies would be helpful, as nothing dries in the bathrooms. To sum up. One of the most enjoyable holidays and I hope we'll come back here again someday.
