Short version: this hotel is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it. I stayed at the Rotana complex in Salalah and had an exceptional experience. The resort includes three hotels (Rotana, Fanar, and Juweira), and guests can use all restaurants, pools, and facilities across the entire complex, which is very convenient. The beach is beautiful, with soft white sand and warm, clean water. Seeing dolphins near the shore in the morning was unforgettable. What truly makes this place special is the staff. Every employee is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Mary Ann, Reception Manager, for her outstanding care and professionalism, and to Joshua at the beach café for his kindness. The food is excellent, the pools are clean and warm, and the entire resort feels safe, relaxing, and very well organized. I travel frequently and stay mostly in 4- and 5-star hotels worldwide, and this resort is among the best. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salalah.

Amazing Experience - Highlight on Exceptional Service! I recently stayed at the Salalah Rotana Resort and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort is stunning, with beautiful, well-maintained rooms and direct access to a gorgeous, quiet beach—perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The food was consistently delicious, offering a wide variety across the different restaurants. What truly made our stay special, however, was the incredible staff. I want to express a heartfelt thank you to Razzak and Altaf. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing outstanding service with a warm smile every day. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made us feel at home. I highly recommend this resort for a wonderful, relaxing, and top-tier service experience in Salalah!

Very friendly staff, especially Osama from the reception and Abdelly from Saffron restaurant. The manager from Silk Road on Friday evening was also very professional and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience. The beach is amazing. I would recommend a larger variety of wine list, for those who want a good wine in the evening. Very good food as well, good variety, many options, everything seems cooked by themselves, even the pastries. Congrats👏

My family had a lovely time at this incredible resort. The location and facilities are beautiful, and attention to design of the buildings and grounds is impeccable. However, it is the people who work at the resort who make the experience second to none. I would like to personally thank our liaison, Sammy, for all of his help, attention, and attitude. He helped us during our stay multiple times when our child was briefly sick, and was always willing to go the extra mile when we were in need, To conclude, this is an amazing resort, with an incredible staff. We 100% will be retuning in the future.

Rotana Resort at Salalah is an absolutely perfect place. I’ve traveled to many destinations and stayed in various hotels, but Oman — and this resort in particular — is simply 10/10. The local people and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our vacation truly unforgettable. I would especially like to thank the waiters Shiraj and Sivaj. Their kindness, attentiveness, and exceptional service made our stay truly special. And a big thank you as well to Sammy, who welcomed us upon arrival and was available to us throughout the entire stay. Nothing was ever a problem for him. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.
