The hotel is in a beautiful region and the exterior views are great. Also the staff try their best but I am writing to express our sincere disappointment with our stay at the hotel. We expected the standards of a 5-star Rotana property, but unfortunately, our experience has been far from that. We are not even focusing on the fact that several areas of the hotel appear poorly maintained, that our room has an unpleasant smell, the curtains are uneven and look messy, the phone in the bathroom is broken and emits a constant noise, that some of the gym equipment is out of order or not functioning properly or that a staff member entered our room today without knocking. What disappoints us most is the service. I understand that the hotel currently has a low number of guests, but this cannot justify the lack of basic amenities and service standards. If the hotel is unable to provide proper service during this period, perhaps it would be more appropriate to temporarily close. If it were possible, we would have already changed hotels. This has been a very unfortunate experience for us. We simply wanted a relaxing stay, but instead, we’re facing constant frustration. For example, this evening we were unable to have dinner at the hotel because many of the ingredients listed on the menu were unavailable. Very disappointing.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel in Salalah, I knew I was in for something special. The level of service was absolutely top-notch—every staff member I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. What truly exceeded my expectations, though, was the food. Every meal was a delight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was the local Omani dishes or international cuisine, the chefs clearly put a lot of passion into their work. I found myself looking forward to every dining experience, which is rare for me when traveling! The hotel itself was clean, elegant, and perfectly located for exploring the beauty of Salalah. I honestly can’t recommend it enough—whether you’re visiting for relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, this place delivers in every way. Can’t wait to come back!

We were very satisfied during our family vacation. The rooms are relatively small for a family of four, but clean and comfortable. The only negative for us was not being able to turn on the lights in the room more. Other than packing our luggage on the last day, though, it's not really needed. Everything else is just perfect. The beach, the food, the service, the staff. I can only recommend a visit to the resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Salalah Rotana❤️ The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were attentive, the rooms were clean, and the food was delicious. Great value for money. Perfect for a relaxing vacation or a family trip. We would definitely come back!

Our stay was awesome! We got Rotana club and upgraded our room for villa. The room was spacious and very clean. Housekeeping staff was exceptionally good! Regarding other services they were also doing a great job. The resort is huge, we could explore it together with our kids everyday without getting bored. The beach for club guests was simply amazing! We will definitely come back this year and bring friends! Thank you. Only thing that is my personal preference I would like to have perhaps less food to choose from but of higher quality. Anyway i will give this hotel an solid five as the staff was very friendly and helpful, they have an amazing beach and villa was clean and spacious!
