We spent a week here in Early July, everything was nice and pleasant. It was the transitional season from the European to the Arab tourists season, so it was very quiet. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are well equipped with (6 pillows, two side sofas, TV, Iron, boiler, towels, robes, mini fridge, safe and free wifi) the pool was clean and the resort provided towels by the pool, which also has pool for kids. Breakfast was very well varied and has many buffet options. The resort provided golf carts for transportation inside the resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Salalah Rotana Resort, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The resort's location is nothing short of breathtaking, offering stunning views that perfectly capture the beauty of Salalah. With easy access to the beach and nearby attractions, it’s a prime spot for both relaxation and exploration.
The resort's amenities were good, catering to guests of all ages. Whether it was lounging by the beautifully maintained pools, working out in the well-equipped gym, or enjoying quality time at the kids club, there was something for everyone. The tennis court was another great addition, perfect for those looking to stay active during their stay.
The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, which added to the overall relaxation. However, the furniture felt a bit old-fashioned, and the lighting inside the room could definitely use an upgrade for better ambiance. That said, the level of cleanliness far exceeded my expectations, making the stay all the more pleasant.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the dining experience. The resort offers a diverse range of delicious options, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re in the mood for local flavors or international cuisine, the quality and variety are top-notch.
In summary, despite a few minor issues, my stay at Salalah Rotana Resort was truly memorable.

A great resort. The perfect place to relax at, and the pricing is great for what the Rotana Resort has to offer. The resort has private beach access, several restaurants, entertainment facilities, and much more. The only complaint would be that the rooms are designed mostly for couples so there are a few things that can be an issue, nothing big but small details such as the bathroom walls being made of glass and completely see through.

Unfortunately, unwelcoming and they gave a room with no Ocean view at first. Although, our booking for an Ocean View room was already paid ahead of time and confirmed. When we told the receptionist that it is not an Ocean view, he replied that you actually cannot see at night when you wake up in the morning you will see it. After we told him, no this is a building inside and the golf cart driver told us that’s not an Ocean view. He said okay, I will find a room for you. We waited from 1AM until 3 AM. Then, we waited the extra bed to arrive. In the morning at the checkout, we asked them to give us one extra hour to gather our belongings and pray. They said no we can’t. I understand that. However, who will compensate us for the miss up when we arrived and our wasted time?!
We came here to relax and disconnect but with this behavior we did not find peace.
Obliviously, they are overcrowded and don’t care about your concerns or complaints. They don’t care about your stay at all.
Although, the rooms and resort are astonishing and facilities are great!
