Our stay in Sala Phuket was perfect. The accommodation was wonderfully luxurious. The setting amazing. The sunsets truly phenomenal. However, I think the staff are what really made the stay seem so relaxing. Friendly and helpful, every single one of them. There was always somebody nearby to answer questions, or take requests. When we were sitting around the pool staff would bring around water or juice unprompted. I especially appreciated the response of the kitchen staff when I asked if they could put the meat dishes together at breakfast, separate from the other food. They did it from that point on, no fuss at all. That was important to me (strict vegetarian), and took away a stress point. Speaking of food, the breakfast was tremendous. I preferred to start at 7am, it was so peaceful. Birdsong and crashing waves were the backdrop. Another nice thing I observed was seeing Tony the Chef and Tiger (F&B) chatting with guests, getting feedback, and having a laugh with the guests. We have been examining our diaries to find dates for our return!

This is a great hotel, starting from the staff who did an amazing job (spacial thanks to Guy from activity and Ha the manager). I can understand why some don't like the outdoor bath and toilet, though it was good for us even when raining it was OK and the place was clean. The hotel went above and beyond for us after we made a mistake in our check in time so highly appreciated! Only thing the hotel fell short is with the food served was OK but nothing special and since hotel is distant from other restaurants it is the only (small) downside. Views are amazing

5/5 – A Beautiful Stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao Our stay at SALA Resort Mai Khao was truly memorable. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect mix of luxury, calmness, and nature. There’s also a small village nearby where you can do all your basic and essential shopping, which was very convenient during our stay. We also recommend exploring nearby experiences like Fantasy Island, Turtle Island, and enjoying the buffet and shows—they were definitely worth it! A special mention to the supervisor at the buffet area and the entire team working there. Every team member we encountered was extremely nice, friendly, and welcoming. No matter what time of day or night we walked in or out of the hotel, the reception staff always greeted us warmly, which truly made us feel looked after. Housekeeping was also excellent—the lady who cleaned our room was so kind and did a wonderful job every day. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s a beautiful resort with an equally beautiful team. Their customer service is exceptional, and they really know how to make guests feel special. We would definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

Our recent stay at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort was nothing short of exceptional and fully deserving of its five star reputation. From the moment we arrived, every detail was handled with precision, warmth, and genuine care. We were particularly impressed by the level of personalisation offered, from selecting our preferred pillow type and body lotion to receiving a complimentary upgrade from a Garden Pool Villa to a Sala Pool Villa. The accommodation itself was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and enhanced with beautiful complimentary decorations that made our stay feel even more special. The service throughout the resort was consistently outstanding. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, attentive, and sincerely dedicated to ensuring a flawless experience. A special mention must go to Executive Chef Tony Wrigley, who truly elevated our stay. Not only was his cuisine exceptional, but he also took the time to engage with us personally, making us feel incredibly welcome. His attention to detail extended beyond the dining experience, as he checked in on us during breakfast and kindly arranged a late checkout to accommodate our transfer. His professionalism and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression. We also had a wonderful experience at the Sala Spa with Paula and Ice, whose expertise and care made for a deeply relaxing and memorable treatment. Additionally, the visit to the Sala Farm was a unique and charming touch, allowing us to interact with the animals and purchase fresh produce. The beachfront setting is truly breathtaking, with stunning sunset views that provided the perfect backdrop to our evenings. Watching the sun set over Mai Khao Beach was a highlight of our stay and added an extra layer of tranquillity and beauty to the overall experience. Overall, this was a truly outstanding stay defined by exceptional service, luxurious surroundings, and thoughtful touches throughout. We stayed at SALA Phuket for our honeymoon and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The whole stay felt incredibly personalised from start to finish, and the entire team really went above and beyond to make it special for us. We’re big foodies and Tony, the Executive Chef, genuinely made our trip. He took so much time to get to know us, customised dishes around our preferences, and even cooked things that weren’t on the menu just to suit our taste. Every meal felt thoughtful and personal rather than your typical resort dining. He would always stop for a chat whenever he saw us and he’s just such a warm, funny, and genuine person. Those conversations really added something special to the whole experience. Couldn’t recommend SALA Phuket enough, especially if you’re celebrating something special.
