Our stay at SAii Phi Phi Island Village from February 11–14 had both positive aspects and some areas that did not meet our expectations for the price point. On the positive side, the resort is very secluded and located in a beautiful setting. The beach and sunrise views were excellent, and the overall location felt peaceful and private. The staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful, and the golf cart service made it easy to get around the large resort. The hotel also did a great job organizing transfers to and from Phuket, and the activities center offered a variety of excursions, which was a nice touch. They also provide special romantic events and private dinners, which is a nice option for couples. However, there were a few drawbacks. There was no ATM on the property, so guests need to go into the village to withdraw and exchange cash, which felt inconvenient for a resort advertised as five-star. The breakfast was just average, and the food overall was decent but not what we expected at this price level. The rooms, while comfortable, felt a bit small and could use some updating to truly match a five-star standard. At around $600 per night, we expected a higher level of luxury and refinement. I booked this hotel based on Google reviews, online photos, and the marketing, but my honest opinion is that it is closer to a true 3.5- to 4-star hotel and it did not fully meet the expectations I had from what I saw online, especially considering the price.

Saii resort was our last stay on a 16 day adventure through Thailand, and we saved the best for last. Our beachfront bungalow was upgraded to a villa with private pool and stunning view. Every detail at this resort is considered. Food at Olive Oyl was great and access to the village offered a fun vibe and dinner/ drink options. We did a lot of research before selecting this location and I definitely recommend it

I had an excellent experience at SAii phiphi Hotel, particularly during check-in. The process was smooth, efficient, and handled with great professionalism. I would like to specifically thanks to all the staff they always smile and very attentive especially Ms. SANDRA at the front desk for her courteous, and supportive assistance. Her conduct reflected high service standards and left a very positive final impression of the hotel. I would strongly recommend this property based on the quality of service experienced. In addition the beach is very cleaned and clear Crystal Water 💧. We will be back soon.

What a place! Everything about SAii Phi Phi Island Village is fabulous. Great service throughout. Fast response to all your enquiries. The resort has a fantastic App which is constantly monitored. If you fancy walking around the village, you can do so otherwise use the available free resort transport. Fantastic room service should you choose however I feel it is always best to be in communal areas to get the vibe, meet the staff (who are always friendly and welcoming). Amazing candy beach ⛱️ with umbrellas available. There are two main types of swimming pools with the "Fun Pool" being the best of the two. Most of the services (especially restaurants) close around 10pm daily. There is always security around the premises with cameras throughout, giving you the sense of safety. In a medical emergency, the resort has a health nurse available and can summon further medical services if needed. It was such a wonderful thing to observe, the mutual understanding and working relationship between the SAii Village as well as the local villagers. As a tourist, this gave me assurance about shared resources between big businesses and the locals with mutual benefits. Thus a customer has a freedom to choose best value for money vs affordability. The location of the resort is fantastic, with a wide beach and a beautiful view to other islands nearby.

This was the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. All the employees looked like they were pissed to be there and seemed annoyed if you asked them for anything. The service was just all around bad. Restaurants had 10 employees standing around and no one came to take our order. And then when we flagged them down, they’d get our order wrong. The food was bland, the drinks had barely any alcohol in them. The people in the local village spoke better english than most employees at the resort. The village restaurants were also much better than the resort’s. The rooms had bats flying around them and I found a cockroach and centipede in my shower. The rooms also had cheap furniture. I injured my back because one of the chairs broke while I was sitting on it (I’m 140 lbs, photo attached). The resort itself is located in a part of Phi Phi far from all the main shops that’s difficult to get to. You have to pay around $60 USD to transfer to the resort from the main port. The beach in front of the resort is pretty small and the water is packed with boats spewing black gas that smells bad as you swim. The water is low tide for more than half the day. During low tide you have to walk far into the ocean to get to the water, and the beach just looks ugly. I know these things are out of their control, but just something to keep in mind if youre looking to spend $1,000 a night to sleep near the beach.
