My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and I would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone. Our beach villa was steps away from the beach. While the beach wasn't a popular beach, it was definitely our favorite. The "better" beaches on the island were crawling with people. This beach had beautiful white sand. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and I still crave the Thai omelet. It's walking distance to Big Buddha and our favorite dive place 100 degrees.

Having chosen to stay here because of its location and the pictures, I was surprised to later read reviews that were somewhat mixed. This place is certainly shabby chic and I think it’s great! From the roadside, it really doesn’t look that impressive but once you walk through the foyer you are welcomed by friendly staff and lovely facilities. Having an ocean room was perfect, the villa was next to the bar and pool and steps away from the beach. The room is more than sufficient for this area with a large bathroom and wet room. The location is perfect if you’re not after the party life on the other side of the island. It’s within walking distance to the big Buddha and a short NaviGo ride to Bophut - around 230baht. The breakfast area is a little underwhelming and I would agree, by the pool area would be perfect, yet it is what it is and it certainly wouldn’t deter me from coming again. A great stay with amazing and helpful staff.

Lovely hotel. Staying in Room 101, which is a 2 bedroom. Really spacious. 2 bathrooms and it was beautifully laid out and fresh flowers on arrival. The view from the infinity pool is great. You can see the Big Buddha and the beach. Lovely little bar and a generous happy hour.

We stayed in Room 11 Deluxe ( upgraded) with Sea view. The staff are fantastic, friendly and the food is great. The room was huge with fridge, tv and DVD player with plenty films available at reception. The shower room was large too. Outside there is an infinity pool with jacuzzi with bar and food area. I recommend the lassi drinks which are super refreshing with a hint of honey and yogurt 😍 WOW The food is good, fresh and the staff are very attentive to your needs. Highly recommend Saboey Resort.

Very courteous and professional team. Great rooms. I loved the infinity pool and the overall setting of the bar too. I had forgotten some valuables at the hotel when I checked out. The hotel staff want out of their way to help me recover them. Net net - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Would highly recommend it.
