It is a very beautiful place! Are butlers in the junior. Swim up were amazing in our swim up room was very nice! The pool in The hideaway was losing water while we were there for some reason.... And someone threw up in the pool the night before and the guests noticed it was still there in the morning. Also, there were cracked crafts where the juice was being served and my husband got a bottle of scotch and when he finished it there was a big chunk of Chunk of broken glass in the bottom! If we ordered room service which came with our room it took an hour or more to receive it even if it was only dessert. We did an excursion through the Royalton on a sunset Cruise which they explained would be a short ride to the boat. Turned out to be over an hour there and back so 2/3 of the trip was the drive 😞 we did do a couple excursions with some locals that were selling things on the beach that turned out to be amazing! One was an excursion that included the waterfall and mud baths and another was the Friday night street party... These were exceptional. We paid half down and half when we got ready to go. Also with the Hideaway I got the idea that it was going to be away from the rest of the resort and it was really kind of part of it so it was more noisy than I would have expected.

My mom took six of us on a family holiday here and we are so sad to be on our last day here, as we’ve had such a nice time. Three adults, two teens and a nine year old with very different ideas of fun were all satisfied with our holiday here. We spent a lot of time at the pool and by the end, the staff were calling the kids by their first names and knew their favourite drinks. Brent at the bar really stood out and we really appreciated his kindness, especially towards our girls. Food was good - some things we didn’t enjoy and some were fantastic (we loved the rib-eye and the meal at Zen!) coffees at the shop were very good. The buffet had a huge variety and something for everyone. The hotel was booked to capacity but we were still able to get kayaks and snorkels when we wanted them. Loungers and cabanas were sometimes hard to find partway through the day but we usually found something. We had to wait a bit a few times to eat, once it was almost two hours’ wait to get in, so if you are hungry, go early! Rooms were comfy - some things aren’t in perfect condition due to the humidity here, so paint is peeling in places and some wood has been damp. But we also saw maintenance being done throughout the hotel almost daily, so they’re keeping on top of it as best they can. We left three times - once on the Knotty Girl boat trip (SO good!), once took a hotel taxi to pigeon island (also so good!) and booked an external transfer to a horse ride. The external taxi completely forgot about us and the hotel sorted out their own taxi and arranged payment on the other end right away. We were very impressed with how they took care of it. The beach was lovely, clean and calm. Staff were very helpful. We weren’t Diamond Club and none of felt that we were missing out or not treated as well because of it, as some people said. We did tip often, though. Yes, the trip from the airport is long but we decided to see it as a tour of the island and had a great trip. Roads are pretty similar to where we come from so didn’t see a problem there! Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful resort. Excellent grounds with beautiful gardens and views. Pools are great. Plenty of them. Getting drinks at any bar is a 10 to 20 minute wait. Restaurants are nice. However, service is so slow. Takes a lot of time for your meals to come. Rooms I gave a 4 star. They are nice. However, some issues encountered. Sinks were plugged, front door would not close unless you slammed it hard. AC had a mind of its own. Climate was always changing without reason. The beach was spectacular. However, you must get there super early to book a spot or else good luck finding shade. Yes, I would return to this resort. However, the staff (not all staff) need training in being more engaged to customers. They lack efficiency and organizational knowledge. There is only one coffee shop on the entire resort. You can imagine the lineup to get a coffee. There is only one food/snack truck between the beach and hotel. Getting a meal is 30 minutes or better at times. At the beach, you are constantly getting approached by people trying to sell you excursions, etc. It can be quite bothersome at times. Hope this can help someone on what to expect there. Our trip was February 2024. Cheers

Spent a week Diamond Club for our honeymoon, and it was the trip of a lifetime! It was our first time visiting St. Lucia, and our butlers Marlon and Benjamin made it exceptional. All the staff were so kind and helpful answering any questions we had. Our room was always clean, our dinners were great, and the drinks were good! Absolutely not a single complaint.

We stayed for a week in the Diamond Club area facing the ocean and near the largest pool. Positives: nice room, mostly decent food, nice beach and view. Negatives: it is LOUD nearly all the time, with music blasting from multiple sources - this is not a serene or peaceful environment. Our first quiet dinner where we listened to waves vs. thumping music was at the adjacent hotel (though we could hear the thumping in the distance - it's that loud). Service was generally pretty slow. Some of the staff were unfriendly and borderline rude (though our butlers were great). There was a shortage of towels and oddly spoons throughout the resort. We had robes in our room for the first 1.5 days and they disappeared and weren't replaced even after multiple requests (maybe there's a shortage of them too?). Minibar wasn't restocked even after multiple requests. Wine cooler was broken and wasn't replaced even after multiple requests. This hotel doesn't seem to know who it's catering to, but if you're looking for a place to relax and find some peace, this is not it.
