Beautifully landscaped hotel with flowers everywhere. Clean rooms and clean beach. The sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed our walkout beach front room. ( I do think they need water hoses/ outdoor showers or even foot buckets for the walkout rooms because the sand can get everywhere) We had housekeeping give us extra towels and bath mats to keep at the bed to wipe off any extra sand before using the bed. The food was good for AI. The jerk wings were really good at Nibbles. The buffet usually had a good variety of food and the Italian restaurant was really good. We had butlers that were great, we just didn’t ask for much… we came to relax and that’s what we did.

We travel annually to the Caribbean on a couples vacation with our best friends this year we randomly chose the beautiful country of Grenada and stayed at the Royalton Resort and Spa.
We reserved the beach walk out diamond club. I can not over state the excellent service we received!! Thank you to our butlers Lister and Quaver , our house keeper Lucy, the coffee bar attendant Tiffany who makes perfect Carmel lattes , the swim up bar attendants and the dinning manager, Deleon. Everyone was so kind, helpful and attentive. The beaches and property were absolutely beautiful.
I would only note that I do wish food selections authentic to the region were offered daily/nightly and not limited to one evening; for this experience our butlers facilitated our outings to the local area for festivals where we had fantastic authentic cuisine. Thank you again Lister and “ Q”. They also arranged and scheduled our excursions to the waterfalls, lakes, beaches and markets.Grenada is absolutely breath taking! I was personally disappointed in not having been able to see what happens to be my favorite animal, the monkeys 😕, as it was mating season. This gives me reason to visit this beautiful country again. ☺️
I love choosing the Royalton whenever I am able because I truly value them as a brand. And while I appreciate the Royalton Brand being family friendly I would also like to suggest perhaps implementing an adults only swim up pool. The experience is less appealing with bloated diapers.
I highly recommend this beautiful resort in this hidden gem in the Caribbean.
I look forward to another stay in the hopes of having oil down at a restaurant on the property. ❤️

Do NOT BOOK AT THIS RESORT!
Not only is their lead staff unprofessional, but there is no accountability when you report mold and a broken room door to management. I regrettably booked to stay at this resort for my best friends wedding, safe to say the entire wedding party was disappointed in not only how unorganized the wedding was, but how also how we were treated during our stay.
Our experience was so unbearable that the grooms family checked out two days ahead of our original check-out date to stay in a suitable resort before we all departed the island. On a weekend, not very crowded, it took over an hour to receive room service, and once we did our food was cold.
Several of our rooms were missing amenities included like, a steamer, drinking glasses & and ice box, that had to be filled in the next building because none of the ice machines worked nearby. Here it is nearly October, and I’ve been going back and forth with staff AND their booking partner to receive at least partial payment for the state of my room and my experience. I’ve sent picture, and provided them with the date and time I complained about my room which management denied receiving after months went by. Management not only ignored my requests, but neglected for many weeks to respond back to ADvantage who I had reported the issue to MID Trip. I requested their headquarters contact information which management expressively denied giving me, stating that those attached to his email response would be who deals with me and my booking. Absolutely Unprofessional and Disgraceful!
Not to mention, it’s quite obvious they prefer to cater to guests opposite of their demographic while leaving guest of color yearning for a better experience!
I’d recommend replacing the ENTIRE management staff during the down season and training the new employees on proper etiquette, professionalism, and above ALL hospitality!

Our stay at the Royalton Grenada was a really nice week long getaway! We did not pay to be at the diamond club, and we are happy we didn’t as it seemed extremely overcrowded. As a regular fare, you have access to most of the resort except for the diamond club overcrowded pool.
The beach is long and has lots of chairs and shade. We never had an issue trying to find a spot to lounge no matter the time of day.
The service was pretty good! The bartenders made delicious drinks, the servers in all the restaurants were very professional and the cleaning crew did a great job keeping the resort and the rooms clean!
The buffet didn’t have the best food served for dinner, but we absolutely adored the Indian restaurant which we ate at many nights! It was so so good! The Italian restaurant was delicious too! The French restaurant was just okay.
The resort itself is gorgeous and has a really nice layout. It can be a lot of walking/stairs for those who need more accessibility, make sure to book a bottom level room. They also have golf carts that can drive you around the resort as needed.
If I ever went to Grenada again, I would consider booking here again!

Check-in was extremely slow and disorganized. Some were without rooms hours after the check-in time while others received keys to the incorrect rooms, inclusive of myself. Many who booked double beds ended up having to settle for single due to lack of availability.
On our way to the buffet, we were greeted with a scent that can only be described as sewage emanating from the washrooms. It was so pungent that it could be smelled from the 2 bars closest to the lobby. At the end of our stay, it still had not been rectified.
The food in the buffet was uncovered and totally accessible to flies. On several occasions flies were seen resting on the food.
The package included 24 hour room service, however, my roommate and I attempted to order both via phone and through the app and got no response. This was extremely inconvenient as dinner time had passed and there was no other option for food.
There was a leak in the shower which was reported to the front desk. We were assured that someone would attend to it, however, at the end of the day when we returned it still had not been rectified. More than one room experienced this issue.
All sodas and seltzer waters were extremely flat which indicates a lack of proper preservation of same.
Lastly, while there were many staff members who were extremely pleasant and accommodating, there were also those who were standoffish and rude and did not hesitate to show the displeasure on their faces when asked to serve. They lacked patience and compassion, 2 essential qualities of a hospitality worker. At times, we felt as though we were staying at the resort for free- the service from some was absolutely deplorable.
The saving grace of our trip was good company and the beautiful beaches we had access to, which still did not compensate for the mostly negative experience. As a first-time visitor to Grenada, my time at Royalton has deterred my family and me from returning anytime soon.
I do hope this feedback is taken into consideration so that future guests may have a more positive experience.
