This was our family vacation to Grenada and we really enjoyed our time at the Royalton Marriott. WE DID NOT HAVE THE DIAMOND CLUB and we enjoyed the two beautiful pools, all the restaurants and had a great time! First of all, excellent service, everyone who talked to us was very nice and working hard to leave a great image of their country and the hotel in its guests experience. The beach is breathtaking, it relaxes you and there is plenty of shade and space to sit and enjoy it! It refreshes you! Their seasoning is heavily influenced by the spices similar to Indian cuisine, but they provide different options for all taste buds. Entertainment was good, you cannot expect Broadway performances at night, but they try, I saw a runway show, they have activities during the day like Volleyball, Trivia, Foam parties, etc. Now, my room was not all that in terms of maintenance but it was comparable to the other resorts I have been to, very satisfied there and a bit more elegant. The hotel as a whole is beautiful! We have great pictures and amazing memories, I was hesitant to come to Grenada as I have not heard much about it, but great people and amazing scenery, especially the beach! I had a great experience! This hotel and its offering is great!!

This was the best resort experience I’ve had. Great for kids and families too. Every single staff member was so kind and courteous and genuinely cared. The beach was wonderful and had a great amount of shade. Rooms were very clean and well kept, and the food was delicious and varied each night. Before coming here I was very nervous about all of the reviews regarding the diamond club being necessary but it wasn’t at all. I couldn’t have imagined wanting anything more during our stay.

We stayed at the Royalton Grenada about four weeks ago, end of January to beginning of February for a week.
On arrival, I had to put a $200 US deposit down on the room, which I was told I would receive back on check out if I did not have any incidentals. On check out they said the money had been released back into my account, I am still fighting for it through visa. I have never had to put a deposit down on an all inclusive holiday hotel before and I won’t do it again!
The hotel rooms and buildings are poorly signed, if you have mobility problems this is not the resort for you since there are so many stairs.
The ocean although very beautiful was not easy to enter as it was such an uneven surface to get in, I fell and saw several other people stumble, again not good if you have mobility issues.
The food was mediocre, I would say the Indian restaurant was probably the best, but I don’t go for the food!
Rooms were clean, we were on third floor, lots of stairs !!!
Staff were really nice, one divulged to us that they are still getting below minimum wage because it’s not enforced in Grenada, if this is true, shame on you Royalton because the staff definitely enhanced our experience!
The pool and beach had limited loungers, seems you have to be up at the crack of dawn to reserve one, they also do not have enough umbrellas to provide shade, I love the sun but am not a sausage!
We went on an awesome tour with this guy Tom who wears a red shirt and walks up and down the beach, we had close encounters with the Mona monkeys, did white water tubing and went to a beautiful waterfall. We paid way less for this experience than if we’d have gone with hotel tours.
We both got sick at the Royalton and found that at least one or more people from each party were still recovering by the end of the week, and one poor girl was puking throughout the flight home.
The weather was beautiful, the ocean pristine and the island very tropical and lovely.
Although we would never revisit the Royalton, we do not regret going to Grenada!

The best experience my husband and I could've asked for for our honeymoon. The first night when we arrived, we realized there was a small mix up as they forgot to decorate our room for our honeymoon which I had emailed them about. We were just a little disappointed but it wasn't a big enough deal to be upset about. However Audrey, the front desk manager, was very apologetic and right away she upgraded us to the Diamond club with an ocean view room 3 times bigger than our original room. We were assigned two butlers as it goes with Diamond clubs, our room door and our bed was decorated as we went in, and on different days, they surprised us once with a bathtub filled with flowers and a small table with wine and glasses next to it, and once when we went to dinner, they had decorated our table with flowers, hearts, a honeymoon sign, and a piece of cake with happy honeymoon written on its plate. We didn't expect any of it and we were so surprised as how much they worked to make our experience amazing. Audrey really made our trip unforgettable and her and our butlers Mary and Milano made this trip a once in a lifetime experience.
The resort itself was beautiful and the food was great. The French restaurant (Ma Maison) had the best steak and the best salmon I've ever had.
Highly recommend Grenada to anyone who is interested to visit and the staff at Royalton just made the whole trip more memorable.

This resort was beautiful! The views were breathtaking and the hotel staff was very polite, courteous, and professional. Our butlers Casey and Quaver were spectacular! They made sure our reservations were made at the restaurants at the resort and that our room was always stocked. All we had to do was think about them and they would reach out or even approach us while at the resort to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and to make sure we had everything we needed. This was our first time to the island and it was an experience we will always cherish. We look forward to coming back!
