✨ Royalton Chic Antigua – A Stay to Remember ✨ My husband and I originally booked another resort, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Thankfully, our travel agent quickly moved us to Royalton Chic Antigua the very next day—and what a difference! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink in the Diamond Club lounge while Christina checked us in. She introduced us to our butler, Kyle, and explained that Nekeisha would be assisting us in the evenings. I hadn’t expected butler service at all, so this was such a wonderful surprise. Kyle gave us a tour of the property, and both he and Nekeisha showed us to our room, making sure we knew how everything worked. They stayed in touch with us via WhatsApp, handled all our dinner reservations, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Nekeisha even decorated our room last-minute for my birthday after my husband reached out—such a thoughtful touch! The resort itself was stunning: beautifully maintained grounds, gorgeous pools, and incredible food. We dined at every restaurant on property, and the service was consistently excellent. Managers Denise and Nekesha stood out, along with servers Brianna (Olympus), Unique (Vespa), and Chauntia (Hunter). Each of them was warm, attentive, and a joy to chat with. I have to highlight Unique—she is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere. Drinks were always topped up, meals arrived hot and quickly, and she was kind, funny, and professional. She’s truly a credit to the resort and deserves recognition. We also enjoyed a couple’s massage at the spa with Monique and Kenneth. Though our time with them was brief, they left a lasting impression with their kindness and skill. Entertainment was lively and fun—energetic dancers in the evenings with vibrant costumes, and the vibe team kept the afternoons at the pool exciting with games and contests. Even the gift shop staff impressed us. One woman (the shop next to Olympus restaurant, wavy hair, fun nail art, called me “babes”) went above and beyond to track down the right shirt size for a friend. The Diamond Club staff were equally outstanding. The bartender (whose name I unfortunately missed) was fast, efficient, and could make any drink requested. And then there was Ersa, the Diamond Club server—what a gem! Always cheerful, singing and dancing even when she thought no one was watching, she radiated joy and made everyone around her smile. 🌟 While the resort itself is beautiful, it’s the people who truly made our stay unforgettable. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, especially those mentioned above, and their warmth and professionalism turned our vacation into something extraordinary. Kyle, Nekeisha, Ersa, Unique, Kenneth, and Monique… thank you for giving me the trip of a lifetime and making my 40th birthday special!

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 – Good Pre-Arrival Service, But Lacking Personalization & Follow-Through I’m preparing for an upcoming stay at Royalton CHIC Antigua and have been in contact with the guest services team over several weeks. While communication has been generally prompt and polite, the overall experience has been good, not exceptional. Seoma Lawrance, the Marriott Champion, has been helpful in coordinating some dinner reservations and explaining the resort’s weekly restaurant schedule. However, I was told that “all requests had been noted,” yet I still had to re-send my full dinner reservation schedule, which had already been clearly detailed. In addition, although transport was offered, my airport transfers remain unconfirmed, and I’ve had to follow up again. A key issue for me has been personalization. I was repeatedly addressed as “Mr.” instead of “Dr.”, despite signing each message with my full professional title. In a luxury setting, especially one branded under Marriott’s Autograph Collection, this kind of oversight reflects a lack of attention to guest details. As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I had hoped for more flexibility regarding a Diamond Club upgrade or a full beach view room, but both were declined. Lastly, I’ve read several recent TripAdvisor reviews that echo similar concerns—especially around service inconsistency, miscommunication, and unmet expectations. ⸻ ✅ What Went Well: • Prompt and polite communication • Some dinner reservations confirmed in advance • Transportation options explained ❌ Needs Improvement: • Poor follow-through despite assurance requests were noted • Transportation still not finalized • Repeated misgendering and incorrect title usage • Inflexibility for Bonvoy Elite members • Recent reviews suggest these issues are not isolated I remain hopeful for a positive experience during the stay itself and will update this review based on how things unfold on-site.

First of all this is an honest review the hotel is lovely the food is hit and miss. The tables was clean but lacking in certain items ie spoons and forks etc. Not enough staff or training, so had to wait for food in a la carte. A la carte food was lovely but staff was lacking so people had to get there own drinks. Staff was friendly, but some are lazy. Vibe team was not engaging with people and when it rained did nothing but chat. Vibe team needs to be full of energy and positive vibes not saying to customers who pay I'm not here to entertain you. Big shout out to these people who go the extra mile these are ELVIS - ANNITA the room cleaner- BRADLEY-OSMAN-MALIK fridge filler. -Christine Thomas- ZISA coffee shop and Kortney. They do a wonderful job and should be rewarded⭐️⭐️⭐️ Improvements are needed to make this place 5 stars so customers feel valued and appreciated. Like all the other Royaltons. This hotel trys to look like ibiza but its not really party vibes more like a rap, no variety of party music to feel good when on holiday. Just like the saying expect the unexpected.

Beautiful hotel. My husband and I had a great time for our anniversary getaway. The beach was a blessing to look at! Everything about it looked like a page out of a magazine. It is your standard all inclusive. The food was ok, not amazing. My favorite spot was the coffee shop. The gym was also impressive equipped with instructors for general gym guidance, additional HIIT workouts and yoga classes. The staff overall were amazing and very much ensured everyone had a great time. I would recommend for my family and friends to stay here.

Not a 5 star hotel. READ THIS REVIEW. POSITIVES: - Hotel rooms are very modern and aesthetic -The staff are attentive and subtlety friendly even if they don’t come across with urgency to please -Coffee shop on site looks super cute and great options -Good quality ice cream - Super short walk to anywhere around the hotel - The entertainment section looks great the entertainment section looks bright and well kept -Giant screen TV - Not a super busy hotel, no queueing - swim up bar (But looks crap) - Robe and slippers -Day time food truck is good quality food - Free mini bar (No alcohol though) - Door key is on your wrist band - Great for an older crowd but not ideal for single people and also under age of 30 - Morning mimosas are super nice FEEDBACK - Damp odur smell in the rooms -Fridges don’t get re-stocked easily -Cleaners make the bed (that’s basically it) -No local exotic animals (hotel can’t control this lol) - They play shit music, no very Caribbean vibes - Food service on our first night took 1 hour 40 minutes…. It was 9PM - They never answer the front desk phone - Stacks of Seaweed on the beach - No pretty plants around, very bare - No drink menus anywhere - The drinks are absolutely CRAP (I asked for Malibu and Coke and they couldn’t even provide that, it was so shit) - The worst cocktails I’ve ever had at a resort -The floors around the resort don’t get swept especially around the hotel rooms - The normal buffet is super small so not a lot very varied of foods and it all looks cheap - overall look of the entire hotel looks crap, not very feed-able for instagram -The on-water restaurant looks cute however advertised falsely. in Reality it looks old, cheap and run down AND you have to pay on TOP of the hotel! (Great view though during the day whilst at the restaurant but why should we pay on top of already how much we have paid.) - Charged me $300 dollars in advance if loosing the door key lol DONT LOOSE IT Overall opinion It’s got a great location, the hut houses are a nice touch but the pools look cheap and shit. There’s 0 luxury feel around the pool or beach area. The overall look of the hotel bars and lobby look great but it’s not enough. This hotel needs some serious TLC. I could have got a better vacation in Spain rather than me flying 10 hours to a tropical island to get Luke warm vibes. I even bought tropical dresses but I felt like it wasn’t worth to get dressed up at this resort.
