The restaurant is amazing! We had a beautiful view of the riverfront sitting outside. We didn’t get a room but my husband has celiac disease and other restaurants that refused to serve us along the river recommended we go here. We’re so happy we found this restaurant because the chef came out and personally spoke with us (in English) to explain what he could make gluten free. The angus beef my husband ate was juicy and thick. He loved it and I had to stop him from licking his plate in such a fancy setting! My creamy mushroom soup was good too. Would highly recommend to anyone eating gluten free. Don’t waist your time looking for food at the restaurants in river city.

We had a really solid stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton. The location is wonderful, with plenty of massage and food spots within walking distance, and the hotel's ferry service made getting to ICONSIAM and Sathorn Pier incredibly easy. You just can't beat the view—watching the ICONSIAM water fountain at night directly from our room was a highlight. The service was top-notch, with a special mention to Ex at the Concierge, and Aon and Tiew, who were fantastic with our young children. If we had to be picky, the only downside was the bathroom; the fixtures were a bit run down and it lacked a fan, so it feels ready for a renovation, but overall we were super happy.

Lovely river view with good transportation options (shuttle boats to a magnificent mall across the river and to the train station). The hotel has seen her good days back in the old days and renovation is overdue. Nevertheless I still like her for her location and old-day vibe. Service quality varies. I would rate the service in Sheraton Club in Singapore higher than here (surprise surprise). Lobby bar here gets a higher score though. Thanks to the staff, particularly Khun Penguin (? sorry if i spell your name incorrectly) for the pleasant and efficient service. By the way … generous happy hour for almost the whole afternoon!

excellent hotel. they took great care of us. they upgraded our room to an Executive Suite overlooking the river with floor to ceiling windows! Great neighborhood to explore with good restaurants. Good gym and great breakfast. They also left a special dessert in our room!! So nice, amazing service. Also THE SPA IS AMAZING. We got a couples massage at Mandara Spa on floor 3 and it was absolutely amazing — top 3 massages in our life (Royal Thai Massage).

Vacation visit to Bangkok with family is a very special occasion and this place makes it very special too. Most of the rooms have excellent views, amazing food, and awesome staff which makes your family stay very special. The food is ordinary but the yatch club with a beautiful pier attached to the hotel is very enjoyable. It’s a great place to have dinner. However on weekends there is a crazy crowd and a reservation is necessary. The location is excellent and many massage centres and utility centres are close by. The prices are a bit higher but I felt it is worth it.
