The Royal Island Resort & Spa All-Inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant
  • Snacks served at selected outlets (10am to 6pm)
  • Selected ice creams served in the main restaurant (during mealtimes) and at the main bar (10am to 1am) and pool terrace (10am to 1am)
  • Beverages served by the glass, including island brand water, tea, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, soft drinks, fruit juices (canned or bottled), selected milk shakes, selected smoothies, selected fresh juices, selected wines, beer, spirits, selected cocktails and selected mocktails served in the main restaurant (during mealtimes) and at the main bar (10am to 1am) and pool terrace (10am to 1am)
  • Minibar filled with 2 soft drinks, 2 juices, 2 beers and 2 wines and 2 assorted snack items (refilled once per day)
  • One a la carte meal per person, per stay, for a minimum 5 nights’ stay (reservations required, special events at a la carte restaurants are not included, only selected beverages from the special all-inclusive drinks menu can be consumed in a la carte restaurants as part of the all-inclusive concept)
  • 15 per cent discount on a la carte restaurants
  • Sports, including squash, aerobics, snooker/billiards, darts, table tennis, badminton, beach volleyball and daylight tennis (subject to availability, lessons and certifications are at an extra charge)
  • Non-motorised water sports, including windsurfing and canoeing (one-hour per day, subject to availability, booking required)
  • Access to the gym, sauna and steam bath (subject to availability, booking required)
  • One sunset fishing excursion per guest, per stay for guests staying 6 nights or more
  • Snorkelling equipment throughout the stay

From arrival to departure, staying at this resort was an unforgettable experience. Since we booked it for our honeymoon, we were delighted to receive cake and champagne as a special treat, thanks to Noble. The massages at spa center were exceptional, the food was extraordinary, and the marine life right in front of our villa was mesmerizing. Snorkeling equipment is provided, so there's no need to bring your own. We encountered a variety of fish, turtles, crabs, and more, all swimming around us. There was so much to see and explore that we couldn’t cover it all in our 10-day stay, so we definitely plan to return. In addition to the mentioned amenities, we had specific preferences for bed mattresses and pillow firmness, and everything here exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to Noble, who managed everything seamlessly, sent regular updates, and assisted with whatever we needed. Remon, responsible for cleaning our room, ensured the mini bar and snacks were always stocked and created beautiful leaf drawings on our bed, brightening our day. Nirval at Raabondhi restaurant is a model waiter, friendly, talkative, and attentive, always with a smile. Kishore at the main restaurant is outstanding; we always aimed to sit at his tables. He welcomed us warmly, remembered our previous orders, and ensured everything was timely. Anyone fortunate enough to be served by these wonderful individuals will have a paradise vacation.

I had an amazing stay at Royal Island Resort in the Maldives! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. A special thank’s to Noble, Abdullah, Afrah, and Mithila — each one of them went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. They were kind, professional, and always made sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The resort itself is stunning, but it’s the staff that truly made the difference. I highly recommend Royal Island Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and personalized Maldivian getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It is a very nice hotel and a great value for money! They have everything you need. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Spa is good and beautiful. The food buffet is delicious and they have a la carte restaurant on the beach too. They have a kids club with different craft activities for kids. A lot of experiences and water sports activities may be arranged if needed. The reef is good: sharks, rays, many fishes. The staff is friendly. And I repeat it is all you can wish with a great price!

Recently visited Royal Island resort in Baa Atoll for our honeymoon. This resort is really great value for money and we can’t fault it. The hospitality from staff was outstanding, rooms were clean and spacious, onsite facilities were amazing and the snorkelling around the island is unbelievable! On the one day we had rain and there was plenty of indoor activities available to keep us entertained. Any couples considering this destination should we mindful that this is popular with families so there will be a lot of children. This did not affect us and actually think it would be a great holiday destination when we have our own family as they have an itinerary for kids club everyday. We stayed 6 nights in total which was the perfect amount of time for us. We did the Manta Ray experience booked onsite, luckily we saw the manta rays which was a dream for us and ticked off a bucket list item. The only thing I would say is perhaps considering cost high cost for the excursion, the resort should consider a partial refund/chance to go back out at no cost for any group that goes out and does not see the manta rays. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is wonderful and there are options for everyone! Staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. Looking forward to revisiting this beautiful place again soon 😊

Staying at the Royal Island Resort & Spa was once again a truly wonderful experience. We had previously stayed at this resort three years ago, and this was our second visit. We were genuinely impressed by how much the resort has improved in every single aspect. The staff were outstanding—always polite, smiling, efficient, and present everywhere, ready to assist at any moment. The cleanliness of the resort is exceptional, with housekeeping taking place three times a day, which I consider extraordinary. The spa was truly excellent—peaceful, professional, and very relaxing. It’s definitely worth trying. Also, make sure not to miss the sunset fishing trip. It was a beautiful and fun experience, especially watching the sun go down while out on the water. However, the most impressive part of our stay was how the staff handled a challenging situation with remarkable efficiency and flexibility. Our flight from the resort to Malé was scheduled for 15:00, but our connecting flight to Doha wasn’t until 01:45 the next morning. Our travel agent in Greece had arranged with the hotel for a late boat transfer, so we wouldn’t have to spend too many hours waiting in Malé airport, where there’s very little to do. Unfortunately, a problem arose: scheduled domestic flights do not operate after sunset, and the 15:00 flight was the last one of the day. Initially, I thought there was no solution. But the resort staff went above and beyond. They allowed us to keep our room until 15:30, then transferred us by boat to a nearby resort where we boarded a seaplane to Malé. On top of that, they arranged for us to spend our wait in the VIP lounge at the airport. This level of service exceeded all our expectations and reflects the high standards and excellent management of the resort. They could have simply told us there were no available flights—but instead, they demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction. We are already planning to return next year for a longer stay. This place truly feels like home now. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Royal Island Resort & Spa and the entire Villa Hotels group.
