Stayed for new year 2026. Good bits, New years eve party was amazing, the staff had gone above and beyond with dressing the hotel up for the evening. Food in restaurant was faultless absolutely loved it and tried some new dishes. Bad bits, Foyer staff are just tip hungry! Of absolutely no use to anyone unless you've got a suitcase. We had one that wasn't fussed on English, French money as long as we gave him something. We had room 339 sea view, sea view was perfect but room was a dump! NO hot water for nearly 2 days! Reported it twice. Bed sheets were old and ripped towels, not sure if they were grey or white so old. Light fittings hanging of the wall .Room looked like it was painted by a blind man. We had rain one day and it was coming in through a non opening window. Bathroom and toilet so out of date and tatty. No way is the Decameron a 4 star hotel. I'd definitely go back to Agadir but we will be choosing another hotel

Do NOT stay in room 144 at all- if given it refuse immediately as its next to the nightclub and you get no sleep at all from loud repetitive base of music and drunken Moroccan men n women arguing at anytime outside our balcony from opening at 12am to 5am - this is the room which we were given between xmas and New Year and we were told every morning we couldn't swap as no rooms available to come back next day this went on the whole week so had no sleep between 1am/ 5am even Jet2 rep who we complained to did nothing even after saying he would! We paid the same as everyone else and feel ripped off as we sent an email to the hotel when we booked in May- asking for a room away from nightclub as read the reviews and got a response saying that would endeavour to ensure we weren't! Hotel denied receiving it but luckily I hadn't deleted it and showed it to reception and they didn't give a stuff ! I never complain normally only usually leave glowing reports but this time the hotel deserves it as clearly they couldn't care less as obviously very busy with regular guests who they knew by name and we were clearly irrelevant! Food was average- I did get horrendous food poisoning on New Year Day unfortunately but cannot say it was deffo from hotel as ate at other places as food not very thrilling and we prefer to eat the food of the countries we visit so again unusual for us and we have travelled to many places around the world & this is the worst star hotel we have stayed in- we kept asking what was happening new years eve and were told it was a surprise 😮 yes it was that much of a surprise even the staff didn't know apparently even the day before no menu or schedule of events to be seen ! The hotel needs to get into the 21st century and stop relying on returning guests who are obviously happy to pay for location / restaurant & housekeeping staff v professional and lovely unlike rude arrogant older male reception staff who treat you like dirt - lighting shocking esp in our room only 3 functioning lamp type lights/ cracked bath / rock hard mattress bed as well as rocking the night away to the thump of base music from nightclub also you could eat in one of the 2 a la carte restaurants if you managed to find the guy in charge of booking which we eventually did after trying twice and he then booked us in on the one day we didn't ask (that evening)for which we didn't realise until the next day when we checked the scratty bit of paper he gave us with the booking on - ridiculously by then too late as we didn't even know he'd booked it for the Tuesday - we asked for Thursday1st - could go on but what's the point- all in all v poor holiday- we had friends staying in the Argana which was so much nicer in comparison and cheaper as 10mins walk to beach but i would of loved/prefered to have stayed there as so much nicer all round and reception staff v helpful and friendly even to those not staying! A truly wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff across the reception, restaurants, bar, gym, spa, and entertainment were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make the experience special. The food selection was fantastic, with an excellent variety — I especially loved the seafood options. The location is also superb, making everything even more enjoyable. I would happily return and highly recommend this place.

Nice hotel in a central location. Delicious food, drinks are ok. Most of members of staff are very welcoming, nice and friendly, regardless if you don't tip them or not. Great entertainment team. We had a nice spacious room with separate living area and huge balcony (room 172). Unfortunately it was opposite to disco clubs with loud music all night every night and we changed rooms after 3 nearly sleepless nights. Second room (237) was much smaller and didn't have separate living area, but it was very quiet and we slept well. If you are a sensitive sleeper, avoid rooms facing main road and clubs. Very quiet and lovely private beach area. Majority of guests are French and most of entertainment is in French, which can be frustrating if you don't speak French. Several tortoises and plenty of cats on hotel grounds, which is great for children☀️
