Our experience at Pickalbatros Royal Moderna was overall good. The resort itself is amazing, well maintained, and perfect for families. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious and comfortable, and conveniently located close to the kids’ aqua park. Our children absolutely loved it, and we also really enjoyed the large aqua park ourselves. The food was good with plenty of variety and options available, so there was always something for everyone. However, the downside of our stay was the front desk staff. From the moment we arrived, the attitude was disappointing, especially from Ramadan, who was unhelpful and unwelcoming. In general, the reception staff didn’t seem interested in assisting guests or communicating properly, which took away from the overall experience. On a positive note, I would like to give a big shout out to Khamis, who cleaned our room every day. He was extremely polite, respectful, and always did an excellent job. His service truly stood out and made our stay more pleasant. Overall, the resort facilities are fantastic, but improvements in customer service at reception would make a big difference.

It was a very large hotel with loads of activities for both adults and kids. The main pool area had a great vibe all day long. The staff were excellent especially Mereki and Sasha who were dealing with the entertainment. Big kudos to them both! The food was excellent with great variety every day. We never got tired of it! The rooms were excellent and very spacious! We loved the bakery hall and pastry selection! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sharm, including families.

We spent 12 days at Modern Royal and had quite a positive experience, especially considering the price. The hotel is massive, with an enormous territory and multiple swimming pools, some of which are heated. The staff is very well trained and always ready to help and resolve any issues. The gym is quite well equipped for this type of hotel, and the machines look fairly new. Food-wise, the hotel offers a good variety: fish, chicken, beef, shrimp, burgers, different salads, fruits, and so on. Perhaps the desserts are not the strongest side — they tasted a bit bland. The Christmas evening was very well done!!! Entertainment was okay. Negatives: • Very loud music at the heated pools and during entertainment activities. Starting from 10 a.m., staff literally turn the loudspeakers toward the swimming pool and blast music straight at you. What is the point of doing this? It’s not a nightclub. • The hotel definitely needs some renovation. Rooms and facilities are quite worn. One of the table tennis tables was falling apart and was eventually removed completely.

Absolutely fantastic we have been many times to this Hotel. From the time we arrive till the time we leave we always have the most magical time. The Animation team Titi Kemo and the whole team are absolutely flawless with everything they do. They are wonderful. The manager of this hotel the guest services all the waiters and chefs are absolutely briliant we love coming and we have booked again for new year. Our stay at this resort was a mixed bag. Overall the experience was ok-ish but the lack of vegetarian food options was the biggest disappointment. Here is the detailed review: Positives - The pools are big and they never felt crowded - The rooms closer to the main pool are clean and spacious (room number 30xx are not that great) - Very good medical facilities. Our kids fell sick during the trip and we got very good medical attention from the clinic - Staff is very friendly and tried their best to accommodate several of our requests - Special shout out to the Bakery Station and the barista in the cafe. He makes very good coffee and they have good pastries, cookies and savoury options Negatives - Very few vegetarian options during all the meals of the day. They kept vegetarian and non-vegetarian food next to each other and the food from non-vegetarian containers was spilling in the vegetarian containers - Terrible wine. They are serving some Egyptian branded alcohol and it is BAD! They seriously need to fix this issue. I understand that this is all-inclusive resort and if they can't afford better wines in their price point, they should at least have paid option for better wines - The dish tag names have no indicator to mention whether the dish is vegan, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. I can't imagine vegans having anything to eat at this resort. Forget about other religious dietary restrictions like Jains
