Nice clean hotel. Cleaners were lovely. Designated smoking area was right by pool so we all got a waft. No place to put cigarette stumps so they put them in plantpots. I suggest a plsntpot with sand in away from non smokers. Pool was cleaned in morning everyday why not at night when pool was shut. Make sure u book a high room we did but got a low level and the noise from the Gap is so loud of a night. Locals party till all hours. But rooms aren't soundproof at all. We booked a delux room upper floor with sea view it's a basic room and we got lower floor level 2. So noisy but very clean. Gardens are managed nicely and are immaculate. Kept away from midnight to 4.00am on our last night with locals playing loud music full blast. Shame really as they let the hotel down regarding noise.

Great hotel. Budget but very clean and the location is perfect. Staff are really friendly. Only negative was the restaurant, which was very basic. Hotel has access to an extremely small bit of sand.

Great location on Saint Lawrence Gap, situated near lots of eateries. Room 314 very nice, not noisy at night as people have reported previously. Pool nice and happy hour every day by the pool when drinks are very cheap. Room large with 2 queen beds and kitchenette where we have jam on toast for breakfast. No beach at the front of the hotel but beaches are only a short walk.

Had a lovely stay at The Rostrevor and couldn’t ask for more really. The rooms are clean and spacious, the kichenette is really useful to, you get the luxuries of a hotel but whilst having your own space. I’d recommend upgrading to one of the rooms in the newer part of the hotel. The pool area can get quite busy but there are plenty of sunbeds (half are beige big ones and half older blue plastic ones). Whilst the hotel is a little outdated it has a real charm and is in a great location a stones throw from bars and restaurants. The breakfast/lunch offerings at the almond tree restaurant in the hotel is very affordable and is very good. All in all we had a lovely stay at The Rostrevor and will be back in the future.

The hotel seems a little tired. We were very unimpressed with our treatment by the staff. It was made very obvious to us that since we were not regulars, they really didn't care about us. We were not given basic information when we checked in: laundry facilities, towel exchange, etc. No one was rude, they just made us feel unwelcome, especially when we heard them greet a couple that are regulars.
