I'll start with the good. The front desk staff was very friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean, and the location is literally perfect for anyone wanting to explore the city and Brooklyn via train. However, for the $260/night we paid, the hotel left a few things to be desired. The rooms did not look as nice as the photos, and the furnishings/cabinets were quite worn/old (in need of renovation). We requested a crib and they literally dropped off a bag without setting it up, leaving us to figure it out. The free breakfast options could have been better, but I guess it was free so no complaints I suppose. And we asked to have our room cleaned not once or twice but three times before someone actually came to clean on our last day. And when they did, I had to look closely to see what they actually did. Besides the bed being made and dropping off extra towels, the room looked essentially the same (i.e. hair was still in the sink, and a dirty pillow was still on the floor). As convenient as this place is for families in need of a kitchenette, I will probably find another hotel that is newer with better service moving forward.

This hotel gets 1 star because it's very inconsistent. Sometimes everything in the room works as it should, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes the housekeeping is great but other times it is terrible. The other day it was great, and recently they gathered the trash and left it in the middle of the room. Sometimes they load your dishes, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they replace your towels and other times they don't... they left the trash can that goes under the sink out also... I walked into the room with trash in the middle of the floor with a lumpy made bed. I have called for maintenance issues twice and was told they were sending someone and they completely forgot about me. I have never stayed in a hotel with service this bad and inconsistent. I just really don't like this hotel nor the service and when I return to NY if this is the only hotel available in the city, I will go to NJ before I stay here again.

Great location- outstanding staff. Front desk reached out via text shortly after I checked in to see if everything was good-Never had that before, nice touch. I had one small issue and the staff solved it immediately, I even had a phone call from the manager to follow up Nice! Room was nice, clean, and quiet. Great little kitchen area with close to a full size fridge and dishwasher. Bed very comfortable, I actually slept pretty good ( I usually don’t first night in a new location). Heating- Air worked great, no rattles! I could keep the fan on continuous for white noise, which is a must have for me to get a good sleep. Definitely will stay here again if I have business in the WTC area.

Excellent hotel- from start to finish; the room, staff, and location are amazing- the room was a suite and large for NYC standards- the staff were very kind and attentive. Breakfast was superb- they had so much to offer I didn’t even need lunch- I was too full! The location is walking distance to battery park and the freedom tower but also with a subway station basically right outside you could easily head uptown. I would totally stay here again.

We had a great time during our stay. The room was clean and spacious. The full kitchen was very functional, The common areas looked nice, they always had a good amount of variety in the breakfast.
