Stayed 3 nights in January in a twin Premier room. Selected this hotel largely based on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there previously. I was not so impressed with the hotel. Why?
Well, it turns out that the hotel has multiple buildings, some of which have nicer (larger and by the sounds of it, recently renovated) rooms than others. It turns out that my friend had been upgraded to a nicer room and did not realize it. I was not so lucky, and received a smaller, unrenovated room.
Good points: The room was clean, the air conditioner and fridge worked, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the shower had hot water, and the pool was nice.
Not so good points: The room was very dated and drab, it was small, there was no seating other than one uncomfortable office chair, and it had a poorly insulated connecting door to the adjacent room which seemed to have a large family in it who where boisterous late into the night. The photos on the website were not well representative of the room I received.
There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the room, but my expectation was that that this was a 4-star hotel. My experience was that I paid 4-star price for a 3-star hotel, or at least a 3-star room in the hotel. For this I docked 2 stars in my rating.
Based on my friend's input, I suspect that there are some very nice rooms in the hotel, but since I didn't have one of those I cannot review on that basis.

We had very nice stay. Its employees who makes a property worth staying. (Not much variety in veg for breakfast.) Thai staff are very very very polite and that night duty gate operator was very friendly and carefull for kids. Very nice clean property.

I stayed here for 2 days because I wanted to stay in a new part of Sukhumvit. Hotel was dated, but you know it is a classic off the bat. At check-in, I was assisted and helped by a very friendly man originally from N Thailand.
My room was very spacious with a huge, comfortable bed. The toilet was also huge, and the dressing table had enough space for all my random toiletries to be sprawled all over. The good thing about a hotel that is a little old is that the bathtub is deeper than modern hotels you find nowadays.
As someone who is conscious of the environment, I wasn't sure what to feel about not requiring an inserted keycard to have power. On one hand, if I left the room for a short time, I could keep the AC running (more energy efficient), but OTOH, I'm sure many people would leave the electricity running even when out for long periods.
They had a pool which looked relaxing that I did not try. The gym, although not full-fledged, was very serviceable, and probably one of the better ones amongst all the similar room-sized gyms I've tried in other hotels. There is a flat bench for bench pressing. The bad thing is there are not enough weight plates.
The hotel is located on a soi that is not too busy but not too quiet. There's a 7-11, restaurants, money exchanges and cafes nearby. The adjacent soi is much more livelier and has many massage shops and bars. I like that it was entirely walkable to EmSphere.

Location is great, positioned at a walkable distance from Sukhumvit Metro Station and Asok BTS SkyTrain. Rembrandt Suites Hotel is their old property. They have another one located on the next street which is brand new and modern, the room prices are almost the same in both towers. We stayed at the old property in the suite room on the 17th floor, spacious with a bath attached bedroom, kitchen, dining and living rooms. Very old though, air conditioning was loud, very dim-lit rooms and old appliances. Ambience felt like the 70s. Carpets on the corridors were stained, old and smelling. The floor and room felt a little creepy, isolated and lonely like the walls and rooms had stories from ages ago to tell. Breakfast buffet was great! Large delicious spread with all varieties. I'd recommend the new property over this one any day. The old one isn't a property that I'd go back to, sadly, due to the eeriness. Management, receptionists and concierge were all great with their service. Pool closes quite early and isn't very happening. Most of the guests are senior citizens.

I stayed here for the past two weeks for my stay in Bangkok. The staff was super friendly, from the call I made to confirm my reservation to checkout. The room was kept clean everyday, and the location is perfect. It is a short walk away to everything you need to get around the downtown core. I loved the rooftop bar and the large buffet breakfast. I had a fantastic time these past two weeks and would definitely stay here again.
