First of all, this hotel is NOT Five stars it’s definitely giving 2/3. Not worth spending a penny on for something that looks very old and run down, it gives motel vibes and not what you expect, pictures are VERY misleading so when you arrive you’re actually in shock and disappointed that you spent your hard earned coins. There’s no cash machines within the whole hotel?Which i find very inconvenient as to call taxis you have to pay in cash but that’s not even remotely close to how bad the hotel is. The food is always COLD and very limited options also they do not have name cards so you don’t know what you’re picking up half the time. Rooms are OK nothing special nothing wrong with them could use a deeper cleaning in the bathroom as it was quite grotty but that’s fine. Hotel is very small not really much to do or to explore, pool is ok the slides look like a safety hazard and i would not go down there. We stayed from Tuesday night- Thursday afternoon and booked another hotel in Akbuk because we could no longer bare to be at that horrid hotel as it made us very upset and bored, we couldn’t even take pictures of the hotel because it was very run down and needs revamping. The staff especially the bar staff and the snack bar staff made me feel uncomfortable as they made remarks to me and asked me sexual questions, so i was definitely ready to book a new hotel. i would NEVER EVER come back here again or even recommend it i felt like shouting at the newcomers telling them to leave this horrible place. Also wouldn’t recommend if you’re a person of colour as staff will disregard you and the other people who have booked there will give you funny looks and make comments. Please just book another hotel so you and your family can enjoy this place needs a serious reboot before they continue to take customers hard earned money

I loved everything about my stay. Came for a short working holiday and it has exceeded all expectations. The food is beautiful - fresh produce and beautiful home cooked meats and side dishes. So much choice - I've been here five days and barely tried anything! The beach bus is amazing and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming - and hard working. Huge shout out to Charlie for bringing his warmth and kindness. Room was perfect - clean, sea view, huge balcony and lots of lovely teas. Oh and a couple more points. People moan about the WiFi but I had no issues at all - and I was working every day and watching stuff ony laptop in the evening. Also, I had no issues at all with language. Everyone spoke good English and I just used my phone's translate for more complex stuff. I asked for late checkout and was easily accommodated on the day. There's literally nothing I could complain about!!! The price to quality ratio is excellent. I'll be back!

I was in this hotel for a week and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was very nice and there was loads to choose from. The staff were very friendly and somehow knew loads of languages. The mini discos were great fun and the shows after the mini disco were great aswell. The Animation Team were very nice and so funny. Sefa was by far the best Animation Team member. The rooms were very clean and just great. The bathroom in the hotel room was just as good as the room itself. Overall loved my experience at this hotel, one of the best.

My Fiance and I stayed at this hotel for 7 days. We came from Poland to Bodrum and were driven by bus 1.30Hours and this is the review of the hotel after our stay. Cons: - There were barely any English speaking staff, especially in bars and reception, - Only the local alcohol is free (branded names are paid for e.g. 10-15e per drink), - Bar menus are nowhere to be found. Just alcohol and soft drinks were written down. Although bartenders CAN make coctails such as sex on the beach or blue lagoon.. When asked the question what else can they make, they usually do not understand or can not answer the question, - There is no REAL coffee, only: Old Jacobs/Tchibo machines with powdered milk, which tastes like instant coffee from packets.. If you desire a real turkish coffee it will cost you 50 Lira, - The Armchairs / Sofas in the lobby are very old and stained by drinks/pool water, - Too many untrained staff - in the main restaurant the cleaners/servers can take your plate mid eating, floor swipers also dont mind you and clean the floors in the middle of you picking out the food (it happend more than once to us), - Bars look like storage rooms, boxes on boxes and empty shelfs, it looks miserable and off-putting to order from, - Snack bar/ lunchtime is lacking, its always the same- burgers, fries, nuggets, salad and occasionally deep fried turkish pastry, - The same problem prevails at the main restaurant - a shortage of Turkish cuisine, mostly pasta for little kids and italian music being played in the background, - Before the dinner there is always grill smoke coming out of the main restaurant. Ypu thought it would be Turkish grill? Wrong, only sauted chicken, penne or bolognese, - The Sandy Beach is open to everyone!! even outsiders/locals, the hotel on the left on the otherhand has its own bridge. Ramada Resort isn't private like they claim it is, - The sandy beach itself isn't cleaned and there is so much plastic at the shore mixed with seaweed, - Smoking is allowed everywhere, even at the pool chairs where most of the children are sitting or laying, -There are way too many people and most of them don't follow the rules for e.g. lay towels on sunbeds at 6am to reserve them.. Even staff doesn't care about that! - Rooms are only a bit maintained, they are frequently cleaned but - showerheads fall down (same problem in the spa/sauna), shelves are unstable (the shalf holding our safe fell down once on its own because of the unstable shelf it was sitting on) the doors to the room needed to be opened by force (I had to run into them, no joke), - if you're scared of animals beware they are everywhere (cats and dogs are vaccinated and have tags on their ears but they chill next to you at the beach or in the lobby), - if you want peace and quiet its not a hotel for you, families with children are more prevelant than in other hotels, Pros: - the staff is friendly, - Nice, clean pools, - wide variety of food during lunch and dinner in the main restaurant, - cats and dogs are cute, - frequent transport to the beach, - location and the view from the hotel is amazing, - transport to the city center/ every 30 minutes for 35 Lira (highly recommend going to Apollo Temple [Entrance 6€, payment by card or lira], you can walk there even without a tour guide and usually there aren't that many people). - English speaking guests relations (the only place you can get information), - not that expensive pool shops and a possibility to pay by card, - Animation team is great and shows are entertaining, - if you're staying 7 nights try out A la carte, that's where you can taste Turkish cuisine (grill/seafood), - if you go to the right of the beach you can buy cheaper souvenirs (Lira/Euro) and see a bit of the port, - there are many supermarkets to buy traditional candy/turkish tea or nuts on the streets nearby, -Sauna, steam room and Turkish bath is amazing. Usually there aren't many if any people inside. In our opinion the hotel should stay a 4*. It lacks in many aspects and it's surprising that after 10 years it got really worn down.

The hotel was not what we expected from RAMADA . The BIG PROBLEM is some of the employee (staff),some of the young boys. They make differences and discrimination depending on the country you come from (they ask you and after that changes the behaivour),even at reception. When you want to serve the meal and you see how they hide the sliced pide bread (the serving plate kept it emty most of the time and you have to ask!),give to turkish people with pleasure and when you ask some slices of pide bread ,he ask s you with nausea- how many,1..2? At the kebab (only one time they made kebab),the turkish tourists receive a full plate and you receive some left over thrown on the plate, not even 100 gr of meat? They are cheeky, mean and don t have common sense. Is in vain that you talk nice to them, smile and try to be friendly, you disturb them. They are rude, mean, comment in turkish and they rush you .Some of them dont even smile back to you and give you evil looks.Makes you wonder if they spit on your drink or food...I saw ,at the pool bar, how he washed his hands in the ice container from where were served the tourists! It s not nice to have this behavior .If you don t have a list with the drinks ,cocktails at the pool bar, beach bar is normal that i ask what do you have, cocktail with alcohol, non alcohol, with vodka, rum,or whatt, pepsi normal or light,sprite,fanta..no?!If you don t like to be bothered with questions( some normal ones at a bar!),ask the manager to MAKE A LIST WITH THE DRINKS ,In particular for the tourists which don t speak or understand turkish and wants drinks for children or adults! What if i order something with alcohol and give it to my child? How can i order a juice if i don t know what juice you have and you get upset when i ask you ? In the lobby ,there s a big tv but you can t watch EURO 2024 football game. There were men who came in the lobby to see the game, but the reception said they don t have a code ...?and they kept the tv on cartoons, but there was only a small child and about 12 adults who were waiting for the game..in rooms the list of tv channels is very poor. The entertainment was almost zero, the entertainer speak ONLY in turkish althought in the hotel were different tourists nations . If you want two icecreams and you are alone, the staff gives you evil looks. If my child is tired ,stays at the table or in the room and i go to take icecream for me and the child is a problem? Do you want everybody to come in person to order or take?If one person take or ask drinks or food for more persons is a problem ? I feel bad writting this review,we were in many cityes and hotels in Turkye but here was very disappointing. We expected to have a nice holiday here, knowing the turkish people are nice and kind. They treated us (10 persons including children of different ages) like we were here at RAMADA to beg for almost everything. We paid money to stay at this hotel,it wasn t for free, and you treat us like nothing. Is that hard to be nice , smile at someone who speaks nice, tries to comunicate and smile to you ?Is that hard to let all your guests to feel welcome and answer nice and calm at some normal questions? Why do you accept other tourists to book here if you don t want us at your hotel? Please change that behavior or allow only your favorite guests to book! I love Turkey,is a very beautiful country,we come every year,we met amazing and kind turkish people in the streets,at the hotels we stayed before but here some of the young boys from the staff are rude and have no common sense! If we would have let ourselves be influenced by this behavior ,we would have been daily arguing , yelling , comment all the time with them and that would have ruined our holiday. The rest of the staff, the womenkind in special, were really professionals and didn t let you feel like an intruder. They speak nice, calm, smiles sincere and try to help you. I hope the MANAGER read this review and makes some good changes for the next tourists. The 3 stars for service is only for the rest of the staff who were really nice!
