We’ve just returned from an absolutely amazing holiday at Ramada Resort. Right from arrival with the friendly staff such as Daeng greeting us at lobby/reception through to the delicious breakfast and food included, great cocktails and bar staff serving them. We particularly loved the staff serving dinner – all of them very attentive and friendly but we found Byte & Nonny to go above and beyond and made our stay extra special. Although I never asked his name, the chef was always on the floor making sure everything in the buffet was to his high standard - something you don’t see very often. All 8 of us enjoyed every single meal we had there. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for 10 nights through Luxury Escapes. The rooms are impressive, large, modern. Only tiny criticism is the could do with more cupboard space. The food was fantastic especially our LE menu. We had a Thai and western menu so all tastes were catered for and I honestly can say I didn't have a bad meal the entire time. Our LE package also had a free flowing cocktail hour which we loved to have at the swim up bar. The cocktails were delicious. The main thing you'll notice is how friendly the staff are. From reception to the restaurants to the concierges, this really is the land of happy smiles.

Two adults two kids aged 5 and 2 A superb stay during the first week of January 2025. The hotel is properly beach front, which is heaven, not least because it is easy to alternate between beach and pool when the kids get too sandy, but also because of the views from the upper floor rooms, the pool and the beach bar. We had the breakfast and bbq lunch most days, both of which were excellent in terms of quality and value for money and took the easy walk into town every evening for dinner. The pool and public areas are exceptionally clean and tidy and the room was well appointed (jet tub king room on the third floor) with plenty of room for an extra bed. If I was being really picky, the only minor fault was the shower and controls had seen better days, but still perfectly clean and functional. The staff here are brilliant. So kind and happy and great with the kids. Probably the best all round stay we have had in hotels of this class in the last 10 years. Many thanks.

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they really can’t do enough for you. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, with a great pool bar for drinks and food. Location is great, close to all the main attractions but quiet enough to relax. Taxis and tuk-tuks available right outside if need be. The suite we had was spotless. The room was spacious with a spacious bathroom and a lovely lounge area. The balcony was large with a great sofa for relaxing. The pool area leads directly onto the beach and the restaurant by the pool sells a large range of delicious food, all whilst overlooking the beautiful sea. Highly recommend!

Ramada Khao Lak is the perfect resort for your Khao Lak holiday. We stayed there recently for 8 nights (3-11 May) in the lead in room and have no complaints. The pool area is fantastic and the staff at the swim up bar are wonderful. They greet you with smiles and often remember who you are and what your order is. They offer many varying happy hours during the day so make sure you ask them for all the info on your first day. The Day SPA is perfection. The staff are the highlight. They make you feel like family. Mim at reception was friendly and very helpful during our stay. We spent over 10 hours in the Day SPA and Mim was wonderful with all of our scheduling requests. The actual therapists are also wonderful. I had the incredible TikTok for my treatments and I requested her each time. She made me feel so comfortable and checked in with me throughout the treatment to ensure that everything was just how I liked it. I absolutely loved her and I hope I get to see her again. She's a beautiful human and an asset to Ramada Khao Lak. We purchased our package through Luxury Escapes. I would do this again without hesitation. We found the food options were really good with a huge variety and freshness every day. We had buffet breakfast daily and our choice of lunch or dinner. We went for dinner every night (we couldn't fit lunch in after the breakfast) and we were very happy with the menu. We had an Oasis room with two queen size beds. My girlfriend and I were super comfy. We discovered on day 4 that we could request a pillow topper for our mattress and it was like sleeping on a cloud. If you love a soft bed I highly recommend that you ask for this on your first day. The bathrooms were stunning too. The bath was huge and could easily fit two if you traveled with your partner. The location of Ramada is perfection. You can walk to Biang Niang markets and heaps of local restaurants etc. There is a Seven 11 at the end of the road and a pharmacy for essentials. A lot of resorts were located well out of town and the guests have t catch a shuttle bus to go to anything and everything. I really like the ease of being able to walk in and out the front of the resort and have everything easily within reach. The beach at the resort is gorgeous too. I have been to Bali many times and never swum in the ocean due to it being either dirty or way too rough. We swam in the ocean right in front of the resort and it was perfect. The water was warm and the waves just gentle and relaxing. Absolutely divine! There are resorts around that offer more exciting options for kids so maybe look at those if you are travelling with a family. But if you like quiet, chilled out spaces with green areas and an atmosphere that feels like home. there is no need to look any further.
