Where to begin regarding this incredible hotel and experience? The hotel itself is an ode to the history; having retained the grandeur and opulence of previous eras while combining it with modern comforts. The hotel decor is exceptional., the rooms are gorgeous -beds are very comfortable, the gym is well equipped, the outdoor swimming pool is fabulous for swimming lengths as well as beautifully arranged for lounging afterwards, the dining spots are fabulous offering local as well as western cuisine and the elephant bar is stately yet fun and vibrant. Afternoon tea is a surprising delight that offers local as well as traditional English tea. The shops within the hotel offer a great selection of local wares. All of this would be irrelevant without the outstanding service of all the staff who are so accommodating and so helpful. Location is perfect to allow walking down to the old market, the national museum and tuk tuks ate available right outside to take you to the temples. Highly recommend this hotel, and we look forward to returning in the near future.

One of our best hotel experiences - a timeless setting, thoughtful, attentive staff, clean and cool rooms. The tennis courts are charming - we were delighted to be able to play on the courts, and were even offered refreshing towels and water while we played. The buffet breakfast is exquisite. During check in, we were initially offered rooms at the very back of the hotel that had a strange smell and were very dark, but after we pointed this out we were moved to other rooms that were truly spectacular. Daily fruit baskets and bed-time stories placed on the bed during turndown service are a lovely touch. Great location for exploring Angkor and the area. The hotel also offers a reliable tuktuk service.

we stayed for four nights with 2 rooms and have 3 kids. right from the moment we contacted the hotel for the booking to the airport pick up, the check in, the meals, the pool, spa, etc. were all amazing!! the team including Mr Preh and the rest of the team were caring for our every need, checking in on the kids regularly. we loved the pool and the pool team was extremely sweet and caring. the food in the hotel is outstanding and u dont need to step out at all. it was probably the best stay we have ever had. thank u Raffles team

Our stay at the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor went far beyond what we expected. Everything was perfection; from the exceptional kindness of the staff to the remarkable attention to detail in every aspect of the experience. The hotel’s rich historical character adds a unique depth, making the stay feel both meaningful and memorable. The pool is outstanding, the massage was truly amazing, and the quality of the drinks and food was consistently excellent. It is, without a doubt, the only place to stay when visiting Angkor. We sincerely hope to return soon and also look forward to experiencing the sister property in Phnom Penh. Thank you to the whole team!

The hotel is impressive. Great food, excellent service, amazing swimming pool. However you need to be very careful about which room type you stay in. We were in two interconnecting Landmark rooms that were garden facing. These were the only interconnecting rooms made available to us when we booked 7 months in advance. The rooms very were very noisy, they faced out onto the road and the traffic was there both day and night. One room (4101) was probably the noisiest room we have ever stayed in. It needed ear plugs and a pillow on my head to be able to sleep. We were not warned about this prior to booking and there is no sound proof glass in the room. If you are staying at this hotel you must book a pool facing room and confirm that the room is not noisy prior to booking. Had we known the room was so noisy we would have stayed at a different hotel.
