"Idyllic" sums up Radisson Blu Resort Maldives. We were there to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and, on arrival at our villa, were surprised with a birthday cake, chocolates and a Happy Birthday message on the bed made from palm leaf fronds. Our over-water villa was spacious and elegant with a beautiful pool and a view across a lagoon out to sea. The villa was a fairly short stroll along the heart-shaped boardwalk from the southern end of the island, or a quick buggy ride. Sandy beaches stretch into crystal clear water and turquoise lagoons which provide opportunities for snorkelling. The food is delicious, varied and beautifully presented, with good dining options available. We chose an all-inclusive meals and drinks package which was valid for most restaurants. I believe it was a good option as the Maldives resorts are pretty expensive. We spent our time relaxing and enjoying the location with a little indulgence. We loved the Balinese massage at the spa, and the floating breakfast was a nice experience to be had in your own pool. There are options available for those who want to experience more - this area is renowned for whale sharks. One of the most pleasing aspects of our visit was the friendliness of the staff, always greeting us with a smile and a hello regardless of their role on the island, and happily chatting to us at meal times. We'd like to thank Rateesh and Maty at Raha restaurant for their friendly and informative chats. It's a place we'd love to come back to.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu in the Maldives for 10 days, and it was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Every member of the team went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The villa was absolutely stunning — spacious, spotless, and designed with every comfort in mind. Waking up to breathtaking ocean views each morning was a dream. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay, keeping everything fresh and perfect. The food options were diverse and delicious, from breakfast to fine dining. Each meal felt special, and the service was always attentive. The resort also offered plenty of activities and amenities, yet it always felt peaceful and relaxing — a true balance of luxury and tranquility.

The overwater villa was stunning, clean, and very comfortable, offering the perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. What really stood out was the service—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Special thanks to Akhil, from house keeping. He was exceptionally attentive, kind, and professional. Every detail in the room was taken care of with great care and precision, and he always made sure everything was perfect. His attitude and dedication truly made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you, Akhil, for your outstanding service—you are a true asset to the resort! This resort is a little slice of paradise, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, peaceful, and luxurious getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

Wow! What an experience. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our trip so memorable! From the experiences included in the package, to the beautiful, breathtaking surroundings, this was a trip like no other! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are fancying a special and affordable trip to the Maldives. The over water pool villas are exceptional and the area looks like it’s straight from a holiday brochure. The all inclusive premium package is well worth the money and you get items included that make your trip that extra special. I would definitely come back!

I stayed at Radisson Blu Maldives for 3 nights, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning surroundings and well-maintained facilities that truly capture the charm of the Maldives. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, and everyone treats guests with great care, which made the stay even more enjoyable. That said, there are a couple of areas where I feel the experience could be improved. The breakfast spread was decent, but I expected a bit more variety and freshness for a resort of this standard. The nightlife, too, was rather quiet and limited — a little more entertainment or engaging evening activities could make evenings more lively and memorable. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the Maldives. With a few improvements in the food and nightlife offerings, it could easily become an exceptional experience.
